Just because someone's avatar is all black or someone decorates/dresses/decides to do everything in black, doesn't mean the outcome lacks creativity.
Something can lack in color but essentially be original or out of the ordinary. Some of the greatest avatars I've seen (not saying the one above is one of them) are one color or tone and some of the sloppiest, by far unoriginal ones, include multiple colors. It all depends on how you put it together and present it.
Sorry, something bugged me about saying it lacks creativity right after pointing out it's all black. I took it as if the message was black is a red flag for no creativity. >_<
