I would say the flutes/woodwinds would win. Piccolos (in my band) have something known as an intonation/tuning problem, and we have like, five of them. And the flutes took over the band at my school (next year's drum major is a piccolo, and our council is made up of all flutes).
Brass people, however, are stronger (usually). Plus tubas are like the coolest kids in band.

depending on how big the section is because in marching season our woodwind section is made up of at least 20 members. and our brass is a lot smaller. even though i'm a flute player i would say brass.

I think Brass...^_^ we have fat tuba players at my school and we also had a football game, brass & percussion against guard and woodwinds. and the Brass DOMINATED! like the prediction said we would. lol. but dont get me wrong i like woodwind players, they can be cool.

in like, an epic fight-to-the-death battle? then brass hands down. dude, we have TUBAS!!! we tuba players are amazing and probably stronger because we have to lug those things around. one MOUTHPIECE are just a bit lighter than a flute. and when all else fails, getting your head stuck in a tuba is a very uncomfortable feeling..... so ive heard....*shifty eyes*
brass kicks a**.

Woodwinds all the way! The brass section is the only section in my band that needs to be constantly worked. Good for us woodwinds tho, cuz then we can work on our hw! whee

I say woodwinds, but isn't it a bit unfair to only have woodwinds in the pole? Just saying.

I'm a woodwind player (flute to be exact) I think that brass would win. They bring the whole band together. Without them it would be bad.
