The Oddish took a moment to relax when Crest was disoriented. It wasn't prepared then when a huge tounge, bigger than itself, smacked into its face. It flew back, stunned. From where it sat, it glared and shot out a small razor leaf.

"Razor leaf? P-leash." Popai shrugged. How much harm could it do? He wasn't focused, and neither of Crest, at the incredible speed of that leaf. It cut through Crest, leaving a tiny mark on my body. Crest glared that the tiny little critter, and ran without an order. His body dimmed, his eyes glowed, and his face grew. He was about to use Scary Face! Crest looked down and roared.

The Oddish was just getting to its feet when the ground seemed to shake. It looked up to see a giant face looming over him. Scared, it stumbled backward and fell flat onto the ground. As the giant form of Crest stood over it, fear took over and it started kicking wildly.

Kick, kick, kick. Crest grunted and walked away. It was puny, and it hurt just a little. The poor little Oddish. There was silence for a little while... until Dennis broke it. "HURRAY! It's almost there! Finish it off with Icy Wind!" He said, happy. Crest breathed hardly, then released a gust of chilly cold wind.

The Oddish tried to move out of the way of the icy wind, but was too slow. The wind hit it head on and completely froze the leaves on its head.
Now too tired to attack back, it struggled to stay balanced on its feet and it ran into the bushes, releasing a sweet scent into the air. After a few attempts to push the ice through a bush, it finally suceeded and vanished from sight.

"Hurray!" Dennis schrieked. He clutched Crest and hugged him, jumped and dancing wildly. "Alright, go Sparky!" He cried, releasing a red pokeball. A tired looking Raichu appeared. "Rai!" He glared, seriously unhappy that he wasn't the Pokemon summoned. "Okay, okay..." Dennis laughed.
"So, Luna, it's your turn. Who will you battle with?" Dennis inquired. "Let's hope you can do as good as me." He said, winking.

"Haha, of course I'm battling with ChuChu, she's the only one out right now you silly!" Luna said.
ChuChu wiggled her tail from her place on Luna's shoulder. "Rai rai!"
"Of course...now we'll have to find another pokemon...This way!" The trainer dragged Dennis deeper into the safari zone in hopes of finding a nice, strong pokemon to battle.

The Nidoking grumbled and looked around for the ones responsible for disrupting his nap. The grasses nearby shook as two humans approached. He spotted a Raichu on the female's shoulder. It must have been the one responsible for the noise earlier!
Nidoking roared angerly and charged toward the humans. He needed something to vent his anger on!

"Ooh~Nidoking! Perfect!" Luna grinned. She grabbed Dennis's hand and pulled him towards the cover of some nearby trees. "Dig ChuChu!"
ChuChu hopped off Luna's shoulder as her trainer moved out of the way. She jumped from her trainer's shoulder into the ground, forming a hole and avoiding the charging Nidoking. Once she felt the trembling earth pause, she tunneled her way underneath where she believed the nidoking was.
"Go get'em!"
ChuChu burst out of the ground and towards the nidoking's face.

"Oh wow! A Nidoking!" Dennis hollered joyfully. He picked up some rocks from the ground, and stood behind a tree, hoping the Nidoking wouldn't charge at him. He then starting chucking the rocks one by one at the big dinosaur. "Hah! Hah! Hah!" He grunted as he threw. He sat down after he ran out of rocks and watched ChuChu attempt to fight him. It was going to be a tough battle. Like, TOUGH.

The Nidoking looked around when the Raichu was nowhere to be seen. He was positive it was there!
As he thought that, he felt a slight movement under him. He glanced down only to be hit smack in the face by the electric pokemon.
It shook its head and glared at the Raichu with a leer attack.
