Not everywhere out in my area sells Manga. All we have are the big book stores and our manga shops, that's not counting Shojin Jump which sells just about everywhere. I did see a copy of Naruto in my local Walmart, but it was hard back, a good $20, and they only had 1 or 2 left. I crummy pick through.

I buy manga at Borders only because I have a rewards card there. XD The manga there is around $8-$10 depending on what the manga is. We have a comic book store that sells manga. The Walmart here doesn't, but they do sell Shonen Jump and Shojo Beat. I buy Shojo Beat every month until I can afford the subscription.
Din, oh my gosh!!! I hope Shojo Beat is in Austailia! You HAVE to read chapter 21 of Vampire Knight!!! It's like oh my freaking gosh!!!!

Aww, I wish they sold Shojo Beat here in Oklahoma (at least I've not seen it in any stores).

They sell Shonen Jump, but unfortunately we have the culture of "COMICZ ARE LYK FOR BOYS KTHX =D", so I doubt I'll be able to find any Shojo Beat xD Chapter 21? =O I can either read it on the internet or wait till it somes out... I'm currently buying Black Cat, FMA and Tokyo Babylon... the question is, can I afford to keep buying another series?
xD I'll get vol. 1, and then read the rest on the internet.

Ooooh, manga. heart
I like Fruits Basket and look forward to getting the rest. The final volume's out! I like Naruto, though I don't like Naruto's "trick" in the first volume. mad Bad Naruto. BAD!
I like the anime Bleach and Fruits Basket. I like the Gundam Wing Zero anime and the Episode 0 manga. I like the anime Vision of Escaflowne, the TV show, not the movie. I never saw the movie.
I'd like to see more of Tsubasa or read it. I liked what I read and saw. DNAngel is all right. World of Warcraft manga is all right. Sometimes confusing, but I also tend to skim and easily get confused. surprised

I'm quite new to manga. The first one I bought was Code Geass Vol. 1 in January, currently I have three. Someone loaned me the first two volumes of DNAngel, but I can't find the rest of the volumes. Can someone suggest a manga series for me, but just to be clear, the only place that sells manga near me is Barnes and Noble, and they don't have a very big selection.

It depends on what kind of manga you're after. I just started reading After School Nightmare, which is lol-tastic without meaning to be.
Vampire Knight = I'm not even bothering anymore lol Tsubasa = confusing and a half Naruto = Hate Furuba = awful art but very, very cute ending
As far as Shonen JUMP series go (like Bleach and Naruto and that), the only ones I like are Kateikyoushi Hitman REBORN! and D.Gure. Most of the series I read seem to be G-Fantasy series; Kuroshitsuji, Nabari no Ou, Pandora Hearts, etc.

Hmm, I would suggest Orphan. Maybe the LoZ mangas. Those are actually quite interesting. Oh and Chrono Crusade! The story is quite different from the anime and vastly better.

I saw part of Orphan. It was all right. Not a favorite, but interesting. I also liked what I saw of Spiral and kinda liked FMA. I've seen more anime than read manga.
Oh, yeah, I like the Bleach anime, too. heart

Oh, yeah, I like the Bleach anime, too. heart I started reading Spiral, but then I got sidetracked =D I didn't like it much though. FMA is love, far better than the anime imo.

I like the early art style for Furuba. Later on it definitely changes, but I think it's supposed to be more of a mature look. It's not radically different, but enough to tell. I don't know the full ending yet, though, and I look forward to reading it! But I do like the art style.
I've never read any of FMA. I saw about ten or so episodes from the series. I liked it, though it was sad.

They all looked... wierd... *is the type of person who reads manga for the drawings* so remind me again how I managed to get through Reborn? xDThe manga is better than the anime imo, simply because the anime has such an awful ending.

Well, the anime for Furuba never got to the end of the story. It only got to, like, Volume 5. 4laugh
And if you want a weird style, what about Dragonball? I like a lot of DBZ (censored version lol ) but the art is ... blegh. And Clamp I like, but the characters in XXXHolic are too skinny, even though the story's fun.
