"No," He replied rather quickly afterwards. There were some he encountered which weren't all evil. The modified akumas made by his Master certainly weren't always mean, even if their creator was a bit questionable. And there were some he encountered who resisted harming humans temporarily. "I know some who aren't mean," he smiled softly at the thought.

"I've never met any of these Akuma things before." he said taking a crouching position and getting ready to spring "But," he added leaping from the ground into a tree over Allen's head with an unusually fast speed for some one his age and landing gracefully on his feet then leaping down with no trouble. "I'm a half demon."

His eyes never ceased to follow the little half demon. Even if he was half demon, he wasn't half akuma. That wouldn't be possible in any case. Akumas were fairly similar to machines, they couldn't produce offspring unless it were an attack of sorts.
"Half demon? That's rather interesting. At least you're not half akuma, not that it would be possible." It would probably only be fair to show off some of his own abilities to the little half demon. He so graciously showed it off to Allen, it would be courteous to do so, right?
In an instance, his left arm was engulfed in a greenish light before it transformed into a giant metallic arm with claws at the end. On the back of his hand, there was a crimson cross-like insignia seemingly engraved upon the surface. "This is one of my anti-akuma weapons. We exorcists use a power called the 'Innocence' to activate it."

"I don't think so considering I don't know what one is." Hakyoku gave a nod "My Father is a pure blooded demon and he's really strong, my mum is a witch she can make potions, cast spells and curses." Hakyoku said calmly leaping onto a rock to watch what Allen was going to show him.
The demon kit blinked "That’s really interesting," He jumped off to examine the large metallic hand "I've never seen anything like that before." his Cyan eyes went wide for only a moment. It was truly intriguing something he hadn't seen... or read about. "What's innocence?" wasn't it that thing children grow out of? Like his brother Saburou? He was innocent. His mother still retained some of hers...
He stood on his back paws for a moment and showed Allen his forepaws "I can use my claws but they don't really change like that." his small claws extended only a bit but they looked quite sharp. "Still being only a teen I'm not quite entirely sure how far my strength will go."

"A pure blood demon?" He asked rhetorically. And a witch? That was something not even the fantasy novels wrote about. But this was certainly something new. They sounded like nice parents, though.
The Exorcist shook his head lightly at his innocent question. "Innocence is a divine substance created during ancient times to fight against Akuma and their leaders. There are many different types, and even within those types they have different forms. Such as how mine can take on more forms than just this arm," he nodded, "the innocence you're thinking of is something different."
Allen smiled at the teenager, "I'm sure you'll grow up strong enough to protect those you love."

Hakyoku gave another nod. He didn’t seem to believe him... or at least it looked that way. Hakyoku stared up and the moon briefly then glanced back to Allen.
Divine substance? Like that of a youkai's individual powers. Except that they weren’t divine... did gods and stuff really exist? He hadn't seen any evidence of gods only those who believed in them. Hakyoku thought this was just simply stupid, believing in gods. He gave another nod understanding.
"Of course I'll become stronger." he said firmly, as the eldest of his siblings he had responsibilities to his family to grow and protect his siblings. He had already planned on becoming stronger...

It wasn't so much that Allen didn't believe Hakyoku was a demon. Even if he hadn't seen other types of demons besides akumas, he wasn't that naive to think there weren't other types out there. A lot of strange things were here in this world, actually.
"I guess I should be on my way now. Akumas don't hunt themselves," he chuckled weakly.
