Eh, I tried so many different bands it's not ******** funny.
I just can't get into black metal anymore. Folk metal is just way more fun to me.

Try more melody? That seems to get people back into it.

I don't know, dude. I'm pretty ******** addicted to sound of folk instruments. They make me feel warm and fuzzy inside.
That may just be a side effect from boozing though.

Maybe old Bathory? You could, like, work your way backwards through their catalog as they get blacker the earlier you go.

Ahh well, it's fine. I get that too, with folk and viking metal.. It just seems a lot more attractive than black metal.

Try Old Man's Child to maybe?..they are a very fun band....iv been into Gorgoroth and Ragnarok lately though...maybe one of those..or Naglfar..i never get bored of Naglfar...

For me, music suits my mood.
If I'm energized or just restless, Death Metal does the job.
If I'm pissed off or just dopey, Black Metal.
But if I have to concentrate, or if I'm in a giddy/party mood I'll listen to Folk/Viking metal.
But for some reason Battlelore defies those rules and makes me listen to them regardless of my mood.
