Dear Bob,
This is my first journal entry. I decided to name my journal Bob, since I thought it would be a little weird to be writing "Dear Journal". Anyways, a lot has happened today and it all has seemed to happen so fast that I am not even sure it actually occurred. Today, for some reason I went out to Yamiyo. The city was surrounded by a horrible darkness but for some reason I was attracted to it. I do no know why.
Once I had entered I could barely see anything ahead. The city almost seemed like a dark maze until... until all of a sudden it erupted into what seemed like a blazing war. Everywhere I turned there seemed to be trainers battling what seemed like rogue pokemon. But these pokemon didn't look like normal pokemon. They looked Dark. I was terrified by their presence but I couldn't look away. These trainers, I am not sure if all of them had pokemon, looked so grand, like masters. I saw a female trainer and her Scizor. They looked so powerful. I couldn't tell if I was more scared of the Nidoking she was fighting or of her. I was entranced by the battle, never looking away until I felt a sudden jolt and I went into darkness.
I woke up into what seemed to be an alley. I squinted my eyes as I tried to see through the darkness. The only thing I could see was an occasional spark of electricity. Soon after I awakened, the sparks turned towards me and said "Magneton!" and a Magneton appeared before me out of the darkness as it used Thunder. It started approaching me. I started to panic. What was it going to do to me? Was it going to rape me? Do pokemon rape? Was it going to eat me, it didn't seem to have a mouth. I desperatly grasped at the ground trying to find a weapon to ward of the impending pokemon. What I found was what seemed like a very old and rusty ball. I quickly grabbed it and hoped it would do something to make it go away. As the ball hit the Magneton, a red light came out of it and swallowed the pokemon! It..it was a pokeball. I waited to see if it would come out. After waiting a few minutes I picked up the ball and looked at it. Why had it not evaded capture? It was obvious that was no low level pokemon and it should have been easy for it to get out. Why did it decide to stay inside the ball? I pondered this a I put the ball in my pocket. The darkness didn't seem so dark for me anymore. I could almost see through it.

Dear Bob,
Today I captured two new pokemon! Maybe not in the most common way, but I caught them!
To start the story, I had just left the story and had bought 3 new pokeballs. I wanted to get 5 but I had no idea they cost that much. The guy said they were special pokeballs even though they looked normal. Special my a**. Thats what I get from buying them from a shifty street vendor, which kind of brings how smart I really am into question.
Anyways, I decided to go into the forest to find some pokemon to capture, though I had Lightning, I didn't think I was going to use it. I had taken him out before to see if he would listen to me. To make a long story short, he didn't. For some reason he almost seemed disappointed I wasn't someone else.
So, I walked through the forest. I could tell it might have some pokemon because I heard a lot of rustling further on. I followed this rustling until I came upon an open space. What I saw was a huge Rhydon attacking a Weedle and a Dratini! The Dratini seemed to try to protect the Weedle but it just got knocked out. The Weedle lunged at the Rhydon with a poison sting but it didn't even seem to pierce its skin. The Rhydon tackled the Weedle and made it pass out. Then it lifted its leg over the pokemon and I knew what was coming next. I thought rapidly. What was I going to do? Should I attack it? Should I send Lightning out? Would Lightning help me? No, it would probably help kill the pokemon. So, in the end I threw a rock at the Rhydon, it stopped, turned around, and then ran towards me. I was just able to leap to the side as it ran past me.
It didn't seem to have seen me, so I got up to inspect the poor Weedle and Dratini. When I looked down they seemed to be past out cold. I thought about it for a second and decided this was the oppurtunity of a lifetime, and if I captured them I could take them to a pokemon center. So I did just that. I threw the pokeballs, caught them, and took them to a pokemon center. When they woke up they thought they were in heaven. Then I told them I had captured them. The Weedle gave me a Poison Sting sad .

Dear Bob,
The other day i went to train at the pokegym, where I met some weird people. I first saw the female trainer that I saw in Yamiyo. She was actually fighting with her pokemon. Then came in two females that were drunk. It was kind of weird. And then all of a sudden Lightning went to attack them. I wanted to stop it so badly and then I blacked out all of a sudden. The next thing I know I come back and find myself standing, Lightning now in my pokeball. What had happened? Being scared, I called back Damien and Reine and hurried out of the gym. I know something happened when I blacked out, I know it.

Dear Bob,
Today I went to go visit my mom to show her my new pokemon. When I showed her Lightning she seemed horrified. She kept giving him a bad look and asked me where I got him. I told her about how I met him at Yamiyo. She got angry and told me I should never go near that evil place again. She seemed worried. Surprisingly, Lightning didn't seem to mind her too much. I also told her about what happened in the gym, She looked worried but she said that I am a good boy and that she was proud of how I had become a trainer. I feel like shes not telling me something, and I think it has something to do with my father. She never tells me anything about him. Oh well, in the end it was nice to visit my mother.

Dear Bob,
My pokemon have grown a lot since I first became a trainer. They each can hold their own, especially Lightning. He is still more reserved as ever. Its hard to tell whether he likes me or not. One minute hes coming to my rescue and the next hes pushing me off a cliff! Oh well, Reine and Damien are doing great. Reine is still as stuck up as ever but she sees Damien as her little brother, and Damien, well, hes the same as ever. We are packing to go hike up Eucerin Peak. Its going to be snowy and cold, but it should do for good training. Anyways, that is all.

Dear Bob,
Damien just finished his first mission ever. He came back really proud and happy that he could be a hero. Reine even threw him a congratulations party, but Lightning came in and zapped the cake to pieces. He still doesn't listen to me. I did capture a new pokemon though. Its a cubone I named Buck. I was able to beat him using Reine. Now we have a new partner in our team. The end.

I just caught a new pokemon! Not only that, he is Shinny, and he is green! His name is Buck and he is a cubone. I am really looking forward to training him. Well, off to train,

Today I was walking, hanging around in the Pokemon Haven event, when a Combusken all of a sudden came up to me out of no where. I thought she was lost but it turns out she doesn't have a trainer. When I asked her, she said her name was Linda. Guess we have a new member on our team :3. Reine will probably be excited when she finds out the male to female ratio will even out.
