"Sorry Noah, it's called strategy~" Luna said, winking. She clenched her fist. "ChuChu! Iron tail!"
"Rai!" ChuChu pounced ontop of the stunned Ponyta and swung her tail downwards towards the fallen pokemon.

Noah knew there was nothing they could do. Jed was whining in pain, wishing it could get up. Neither of them moved. "Strategy, whatever..." Noah mumbled.

"Aww, common Noah. You're not even going to try and resist?" Luna asked her opponent. "ChuChu! Again!"
ChuChu prepared to ram her tail into Jed again. The poor horse was sure getting a harsh beeting. The devil inside ChuChu cackled.

"Okay ChuChu! Let's finish up with a mega punch!"
ChuChu nodded. "Rai~Nya!" ChuChu did a flip into the air, then came down upon Jed with a glowing fist outstretched.

Jed's stomach took a good hit, but his legs finally responded to his eager movements, and forced him to quickly stand up. His knees bent down as if to rest, and he made gasping breathes. "Yes! Good job, Jed! Now we can turn the tide!" Noah shouted happily, a smile across his young, inexperienced face. "Alright! This time, point blank Fire Blast!" he commanded.
Jed lowered his head and spit out a spew of flames directly a ChuChu, full strength. Hopefully, the Raichu wasn't fast enough to dodge...

"It'll take more than that to put ChuChu down! ChuChu! Mega punch through it!"
"Chuuuu..." Chuchu shifted her weight from her left leg to her right back to her left to build momentum. Her left arm began to glow. She kicked off with her hind legs and into the heart of the flame, deflecting some with her glowing fist (OF JUSTICE).
ChuChu managed to break through the flames and aim at Jed's jaws. Again.

Jed couldn't take another hit to the jaw. It would probably break. Luckily, Jed lowered his head just in time. "Great position! Now use Flare Blitz!"
ChuChu flying above him, Jed instantly heated up his body, engulfing himself in flames. Then, he quickly listed his hooves and rammed his head in ChuChu's direction, where his stomach was exposed. If this hit, it would indefinitely hurt. A lot.

ChuChu blinked, processing the information. Then she realized - HO SNAPS. JED WAS STILL ATTACKING! ChuChu darted under Jed's legs, just barely missing his attack. She was definately thankful for her small size.
...Up. Now what did that mean? Skull bash up? Yah! That sounded right! ChuChu jumped upwards grinning. Hits to the ribs hurt. She knew. She knew VERY well.

"Jed!" Noah shouted in worriment as Jed got rib-bashed by a creature one fourth of his own size. Jed twitched has the blow was given, but tried to hold back on the enormous whine of pain. Great, now we have to use moves that require almost no actual moving at all?! Noah worried, knowing that it was the same as abusing your pokemon if you make it use moves that they really shouldn't be using in it's current state.
Noah concentrated on a move like that. Most fire moves used the jaw to release an enormous amount of heat normally maintained in the body...And all physical moves obviously required the body...
Fire was his only option then. Fire...Fire Spin! All that required was concentration. They could pull that off!
"Jed! Use Fire Spin!" At command, Jed's released rings of fire that curled upwards like a curly fry, and the ring grew out in all directions, hoping to snare it's enemy. The fire slowly bent together, forming a constant swirl that had to evaporate some water around them. The people in the stadium's eyes got lost in the blending of the colours that usually made up fire, red, yellow, and orange, and indescribable colours that couldn't even be caught by camera, only by being there and experiencing the heat.

"Jump!" Luna shouted. She did not want ChuChu deepfried, thank you very much.
ChuChu managed to spring partially high up in the vortex of fire, but didn't quite make it to the top. Still, she jumped through one of the walls of flamed and managed to get out, slightly chared and parts of her fur on fire. Oh darn. That meant she wouldn't be able to enter contests with Prince for a while!
"Haha, no worries ChuChu. It'll grow back. Anyways, focus on the battle!"
With these words, ChuChu shaked her head and her eyes grew serious again.
"Alright! Let's give 'em a megapunch! To the ground!"
"Chu!" ChuChu started to power up her fist again. After it glowed brightly, she jumped up into the sky, grinning yet again. She would get revenge soon! ChuChu slammed the fist into the ground, creating a large split in the ground towards Jed. It would surely be unpleasent to be trapped down there....

The platform Jed was standing on split into two with the help of ChuChu's small but steady and strong fist. "Jed!" Noah called in surprise as Jed fell into the pool below, mouth open and all. Jed couldn't swim. Thus, he squirmed, his whines turning into bubbles as they reached the very edge of the water, muting almost all sound. Struggle as he might, Jed couldn't lift himself up to the top of the water, let alone reach another platform, which seemed to be miles away.
The struggling only made the pain worse. Her ribs and jaws suffered much pain from the ever-moving body. Is there an attack that can get him out of there? Noah's thoughts rushed through his head. Double-kick! That'll get him out of the water with one kick, and strike Raichu with another! His theory might have been possible, if Double-Kick had not been an egg move. "I'll try it anyway!" Noah thought aloud. "Jed! Double-Kick yourself out of there!" he commanded, only a faint voice actually reaching Jed.
But Jed did hear it. Although painful, Jed let his legs kick themselves out of the water, body included. Jed took a moment to aim at ChuChu's head. He lashed out a cry, and, with a second kick, let his first right leg lash out at ChuChu's jaw. Payback. Noah thought with a confident smile as he watched Jed's precise aiming.
