I see you have a huge affinity with vampire, kind of like how I have a huge affinity for acupuncture based martial arts.

Yeah, I don't know why, I just like vampire characters. I've almost thought of making Setsuna into a cat demon vampire, but I figured that might be a bit much. sweatdrop
Vampires are just so amazing. They look human, yet they feed on them. And it seems a lot of times vampires are associated with romance, so that may be another reason. XD Overall, I just love the dark and mysterious act that goes along with them. (*Laughs* Is this even making any sense? I'm just overall obsessed I guess. XD)
Yeah, your character's really good at knowing a lot of martial arts moves, Shinken. I would hate to go against him in a taijutsu battle sweatdrop . Do you yourself train in martial arts or karate or some form of fighting? You just seem to know an awful lot about it. ^_^

I've watched the anime Fist of the North Star (an anime from the 80s that happens to be the precursor of all action anime including DBZ and Yu Yu Hakusho.) The main character, Kenshiro, uses an 1800 year old chinese assissination art called Hokuto Shinken (Divine Fist of the North Star/Big Dipper), which attacks the 708 keiraku hikou points, resulting in a gory or interesting result. He can attack a point around your throat which forces you to speak and tell the truth against your own well. He was ranked 3rd strongest manga character in history in Japan. Trust me, not even vampires and undead can stand against it. As either Saiga or Ryuga, I can simply strike a point located between your eyes which controls the pituatary gland (a master gland in the brain that triggers all hormones, including cellular regeneration, even for vampires). By disabling that, the brain starts to break down like domino pieces. Basically, after one strike to that point you have 15 seconds before you die.

In Japan, they remade the 80's anime into a series of movies, with drawing style more closer to the manga, and good fluid action. The two downsides are that in some events they expect you to know the series fairly well; the other downside is that the modern voice actors don't carry much impact as the original VA did.

Yeah, that seems to happen to a lot of the good animes. sweatdrop
Still, that's pretty cool that they had such an interesting anime/manga during the 80's. In truth, I don't really know how old animes and manga are. So, to hear about ones from the 80's kinda startles me a bit. Especially since I thought this whole time animes didn't arrive into America until the 90's. *Laughs* Shows how much I know when it comes to the history of manga and anime. sweatdrop

Some of the fanart was good, although I'll say every picture contained alot of effort into making them. The song was a bit odd considering I'm not much of a pop fan, but I guess it fit the video considering some of the lyrics. Who knew Shuri joined Akatsuki?

I gotta admit, that was just a bit of a shock...I think it was even more of a shock that Yoshi ended up joining him...just a little bit. sweatdrop It is a bit disappointing that this means there's not gonna be as many people rping in the Mist village, but at least I have a plan to keep my character busy for a while. ^_-
