"No, it is not the sound that kills, but the object that makes the sound."
He had strode back to his task, to the debris that remained of the poachers and their camp. It was several feet away from this that he began to dig, carving a trench in the earth as if to contain the evil of the humans.
"There is evil among all animals, however some are far more dangerous than others."
Chest falling with a sigh, he turned back to look at the remnants of the fallen creatures resting where Kimaji stood. Such a pointless waste, innocent creatures slain in their prime for nothing but a few trinkets and trophies, it was tragic and enraging all at once. There was nothing he could do for this animals now except to grant them their final respects and stop more innocents from suffering the same fate.
"It was, a strong young adult from the looks of it."
He turned away lest sorrow and rage consume him, turning to finishing the task of eliminating the camp. Though the fire had been smothered in the fight, the embers still glowed. It was these that the god used to reignite the flame within the circle of the trench, a flame that quickly spread to the debris of the camp, engulfing hunters, traps, firearms, cage, and tent it's growing inferno, consuming all into ash, perhaps the poachers final penance.

"Oh.. that makes more sense, "
She said, forcing a small smile. It did make more sense, though she hadn't quite seen said object. Glancing ones more at the dog's skin, Kimaji tilted her head slightly. "You can tell? " She blinked, she probably wouldn't have guessed that. To her it was a wild dog, just that. Obviously adult, but how did he know it was young? or strong? She'd have to learn how to find that out one day.
With a bit of a hop, Kimaji moved over to where Corellon was digging, and perked her ears. "Why are you digging? Want help? " She flicked tilted her head. How would digging help? Did.. did Cor want to put all of that stuff in the hole? Wow, he needed a big hole then, didn't he? Without waiting for the gods reply, Kimaji busied herself trying to dig aswell, though at first it took a bit getting used to.
Well, one didn't dig often, huh?

"From the size and condition of the pelt; poachers always take the healthy ones."
There was a touch of bitterness in his voice, a flash of anger in the fire reflected in his eyes. The poachers were never satisfied with taking the weak as hunters were, they had to further destroy his forest by taking the strongest, those that would make the finest trophies, that would bring the most money. The poachers were evil, monsters, demons, and though some may escape him for a time, tonight these three were returned to the hell from which they came.
"The trench will keep the flame from spreading to the grass or the trees; it will only destroy what it is meant to."
Wings unfurled, the rhythmic beat of feathers, the divine gust building flame to raging inferno, consuming all it touched. The god stood in silence, flame reflected in his green eyes, ears flicking at the roar of flame as it devoured poachers and camp, the snap as firearms exploded, the crash of fallen debris beneath the molten steel of the cage. The flame consumed all, the demons were returned to hell.
"We should leave now, there's an adventure waiting for us."

Well, humans were proving to get odder and odder. Why hunt the healthy ones? That was just harder! "Poachers are weird, " She mumbles, ears folding against her skull for a moment. They got neutral again soon enough as he spoke again. "Holes can stop fire? " She blinked. This was something Kimaji didn't know; it seemed silly! But then again, she didn't see much fire. Tonight was probably the first time she'd actually really seen it.
The small lioness squeaked in surprise at the first snap, having not expected what had been alight to be so.. vocal about being on fire. Then again, she'd probably scream too. But the stuff there didn't seem alive! With a small snort towards the fire, as if to say 'you won't scare me again', she moved to join Corellon. "Yeah, we gotta go see the bear. " She forced a smile, though now wasn't a very smile worthy moment.
But she stopped her paw midair, and glanced back at the wild dog pelt. It wasn't the only one, obviously, but for some reason she felt bad for leaving it here. Just sitting back like that. Quickly, Kimaji scurried over, and gently picked up the pelt in where would be its neck, had it not been reduced to that scrap of pelt. Still, it dragged on the ground, and it'd be just wrong to drag it around. Why didn't Cor-s drag-- ooh. Smiling to her cleverness, Kimaji slung the pelt over her back, and rolled her shoulders until it fit into place. For now, though, she didn't put its head over hers. She'd try that later. With a small hop, Kimaji moved over to join Cor again.
"I didn't think it was nice to just leave it there. " She shrugged her shoulders slightly.

The god smiled, a warmth that echoed in his eyes. She was kind and gentle, and though she had seen the horrors of the world tonight, still so innocent. And yet the lioness may have been wiser than she realized, and through her, the fallen canine would be remembered, perhaps to live on through death as the last bear had done through him.
"We will take them with us, they deserve a better resting place than this."
Somber in his steps, he approached the fallen with a heavy heart. He could feel who they had been, hear the cries of their last moments, they had not deserved this fate. Gently he gathered the items, folding them within the larger of the pelts lest any fall along the way to their final rest. With a soft maw he gathered them, gentle and caring, as a parent would his child.
Wings spread majestically, though tainted with the heavy sorrow of the night. It was time they continued their flight to the mountains, and there the fallen innocents would be laid to rest, undisturbed, forever at peace.
