"You ready? Or do you need another hour or two to prepare?" He tightens his gloves onto his wrist before shooting him a look. The gloves looked like something generic and fingerless only with a pad on their backs. They were made to allow both protected striking and grappling.

"Hmph." The smirk as he slides his cape off onto the ground next to him. He had grown accustomed to his odd uniform and had learned to fight in it quite well. He like his brother seemed to be taking this quite well and saw it as nothing more than a sparing match.

"I take that as a yes..." His arms rise becoming more of a traditional boxing stance. "I'll give you the first shot. Lets see if have kept up with your training."

Syagris seemed to just stay in place as moments flew by. He didn't seem to be giving much attention to anything around him, though the conversations of the others did manage to reach his ears. The young man wasn't one to eavesdrop, so he decided to think on what he would need before heading out of the base.

Gently pushing from the wall behind him, the white-haired elf spared another glance toward the group. Of course it was only met with mumbles of what they were speaking of, but he turned his head slightly to their direction. Once he seemed satisfied with that, Syagris started making his way down the hall opposite of his 'allies'.

"If you've no master, then you should know full well the consequences you face" Kairha growled. She reached behind her back and slowly drew Golgorath from it's sheath. The wickedly curved sword pulsed with hellish energies. "You have struck out on your own, broken the laws. You must be put down!" She pointed Golgorath at him menacingly. "Unless of course, you give me damn good reason not to strip you of your essence."

"Well, well, well," said Ryoko, grabbing the Positron Rifle, "I guess it's quite a good time to test out my little friend. I'm afraid you won't be able to stand up to this rifle for quite a while though..."

"The Positron Rifle is a extremely powerful rifle. First of all, the feeding ramp is polished to a mirror sheen. It's not going to have any feeding problems. The slide's been replaced with a reinforced version. And it meshes perfectly with the frame. The frame itself has been iron-welded and scraped down multiple times for maximum precision. The front strap part of the frame has been checkered to make it dig into the hand. That prevents any slipping. The sight system's original, too. It's a 3-dot type. It's got an enlarged front sight, giving it superior target sighting capability. The regular hammer's been replaced with a ring hammer. That enhances the cocking control and increases the hammer-down speed. They also reworked the grip safety to accommodate the ring hammer. Looks like they eliminated it altogether. This is a tool for pros. The thumb safety and the slide stop are extended to allow for more precise handling. The base of the trigger guard is whittled down, so you can use a high grip. And the trigger itself is a long type for easy finger access. The trigger pull is about 3.5 pounds. That's about a pound and a half lighter than normal. The magazine well has been widened to make it easier to put in a new magazine. The magazine catch button has been cut down low to make it harder to hit by accident. The mainspring housing has been changed to a flat type to increase grip. And it's even been fitted with stepping so that it doesn't slip from the recoil when firing. On top of that, they added cocking serrations to the front part of the slide. That lets you load and eject cartridges faster in an emergency. Also, they used a reinforced lightweight titanium body for the gun, making it extremely powerful in melee combat. Finally, the gun has a three-shot burst fire. This is why I chose to buy this gun," said Ryoko to the demoness, "Think you'll be able to stand up to this?"

Kyslith sighed, "Stupid demons" she muttered. "Kairha, I would appreciate it if your lord didn't think I off'ed you and just took this", she lifted the newly aquired blade. Kyslith thought for a moment in confusion, . She snapped from her thoughts, realizing the situation. "aww, s**t...HEY, Ryuko!, You better not hit me with that damn thing!", Kyslith bolted down the hall trying to find cover.

"Well?" asked Ryuko, as he pointed the rifle towards Kairha's position, "I'll give you ten seconds to back off from me. Or you could attack me with your "consequences" and enjoy a good afternnon snack of lead."

"One...Two..."

"Well, I was giving our little demoness a chance of peace..." said Ryuko, as he propped the rifle on his shoulder, "She said something about breaking the 'laws' and struck out on my own. She seems really pissed about that and told me to give her a good reason not to strip me of my essence. Like I give a damn. I already told her that I broke off my demon past a long time ago…you remember, do you, Kaki? That day, five years ago?"

Kyslith looked back, Kairha had decided to leave anyway. , thought Kyslith, me.>

She clutched her beautiful, dark blade to her chest. "Got to find a good sheath for you", She whispered. It had taken her all too long to find where the guild had that damn book in storage. It had been all too long before the demoness had brought her this ancient blade. , Kyslith realized.
