Wait I think I did that before, I was like 10. and my mom purd salt water in my eye and said I'd feel better.
Yeah, salt water is, like, the default cure-all. One of the few remedies from "the old days" that we keep around because it still has relevancy.

I've tried that whole gargling thing before a few times, but it never seems to work for me.

[Lissa-chan] I've tried that whole gargling thing before a few times, but it never seems to work for me. It usually works for me but I'd rather avoid it most times and just have tea with honey (or, rather, a variation of it as I don't like tea OR honey xD)

Oooh, yeah! When I was at my grandma's (if I was sick) when I was younger, she'd skip the tea and give me a spoonful of honey. I like a bit of honey sometimes, but that was really kinda gross!
