Destiny could feel the faint hint of a vampire mind very nearby and quickly pinpointed the location to be on the rooftop of the building her and her friend were passing right now.
"Well, you know the usual is to go and find some youngling to warm up with and maybe find a safe house or two to try and extinguish before the morning hours. But first we have to deal with a leech that is spying on us now as we speak." She made no attempt to hush her voice, she wanted the vampire to hear.
Quickly shifting her gaze up to the roof top she could see the crude outline of a large figure, undoubtidly male.
Her purple eyes flashed in anger as she heard the tortured screams of her family, as she did everytime since thier deaths when she was about to fight.
"YOU! Either come down and face us or leave us be. If you value your bloodsucking excuse for a life then I suggest that you just leave!" She called up to the top of the building.

Tramer gave long laugh as the girl spoke to him, “I am in need of a good fight…” Tramer stopped himself as a ancient memory fogged his vision, an image of girl looking almost identical to this hunter popped into Tramer’s mind, Tramer quickly pushing this thought out of his mind, a content smirk lit his face as an idea came to mind, “unfortunately I have other matters that much be attended to, thou I might have information you would find valuable…” Tramer said standing up attaching his sword to a strap on his back, Tramer then jumped off the building landing in a crouched position keeping to the shadows, as Tramer stood up he grabbed a piece of trash, with his still blood soaked claws Tramer proceeded to write down several addresses, “the first is probable the most valuable, in the northern docks there is a storage warehouse that a group of rouge vampires have taken as there layer, they keep this building well guarded, there numbers and vast and ever-growing, but if someone was able to manage to…well place a bunch of explosives on the ceiling during the day and blow it exposing them to the sun, well that would be a lot of dead vampires” Tramer said with a slight chuckle, “basically all these addresses are to rouge safe houses, these rouges have been causing me and my master a lot of trouble, it matters not to me who kills them as long as they end up dead” Tramer said dropping the piece of paper with the addresses just before jumping into the air making his way back to the rooftop, Tramer ran north jumping roof to roof before quickly vanishing into the darkness. Laughing contently in a dark empty ally Tramer was content about having sent his enemy onto his other enemy, but was troubled at the same time, it had been decades since memories of his past had came to haunt him, why now, if the hunter succeeded she would help in eradicating the rebels that were trying to stop Constance’s plans, and if she failed there would be one less hunter in the world, Tramer couldn’t figure out what was wrong but something inside himself seemed to be awakened at the sight of the female hunter.

The sound of the vampires voice sent a single chill down her spine. She ignored the feeling that she had not feel in a long time and dissmissed it compleatly. Crumpling the paper and throwing it to the nearby trashcan without a second glance she squared her shoulders and started to pull her hair back and twist it with a sharpened chop stick.
I refuse to be a pawn in your "master's" little game of chess you moron. She thought to herself.
Continueing down the street she closed off her mind to all other surroundings except that of dark happenings. She decided the skip the clubing idea and headed for the park that was not too far from where her and Yuuki were.
She needed to be alone.
Waving to Yuuki she said a quick goodbye and started towards the park. Sitting at a bench that was under a street light that had gone out she sat in silence.

A soft click echoed throughout the living room of the small one-bedroom apartment as a wireless phone was placed on its receiver. A glove covered hand only revealing pale slender fingers retreated to the armrest of the plush beige couch. Iana slumped back letting her head lay lazily on the top of couch’s headrest as she stared at the ceiling in deep contemplation. After speaking to her father for a few hours she had to make a decision. Somehow through connections he didn’t want to reveal to his daughter, Vince, Iana’s father, had acquire some very disturbing information. Apparently the young witch’s concerns about the growing tension between the vampire’s and those who hunted them was growing. The fact was that something catastrophic was bond to happen. Her father had advised her to stay out of the whole ordeal. He argued that even though she had been trained to aid others with her powers he wouldn’t allow her to involve herself in the affairs of the parasitic creatures and their exterminators.

There was concern and command in Vince’s request, but Iana couldn’t just stay in her apartment until the whole thing blew over. There was no telling what impact the ordeal would have on the city or even the world for that matter. She wasn’t sure how far this thing expanded. The truth was that curiosity was ebbing away at her need to stay safe, her father’s need rather. He was the one who hadn’t wanted her to move so far away, but she needed to venture out and explore. She had managed to acquire a fairly reasonable job that she could be happy with for the time being. At North Central Hospital she worked as a certified nursing assistant, though she practiced a few methods that were out of her scope. Her superiors didn’t seem to mind though. Iana’s abilities were kept a secret to the patients for the most part since she only healed them in small increments keeping them from any fatal outcomes. As long as the super-attendant of the hospital didn’t find out then her job was safe, as well as herself from being prosecuted for her seemingly illegal actions.

Everything swirled about in her mind before she decided that there was only one to ease the tension that know linger in head, causing an irritable buzzing pain. A walk around the block and through central park would serve her well. Iana gathered her coat, hat, and a few daggers that she kept hidden away on her person just in case. After she felt prepared she locked up her apartment and left basking in the outside air when she finally escaped the confines of the rather rustic building.

Tramer still troubled wondered around the city aimlessly till he found himself at Central park, back at his home in Europe Tramer would go the a near by courtyard to stop and think, Central park was the closest thing Tramer could find in this godforsaken city. As Tramer ventured into the park sheets of rain began to fall from the sky quickly smoking Tramer, as Tramer walked he took note of a young girl sitting alone in the dark on a bench, at first Tramer thought what an easy meal but only moments passed and Tramer quickly recognized the girls sent as the hunter he had ran into earlier, Tramer looked up toward the sky letting out long sigh as he continued walking, Tramer stopped lining up agents a tree near by the hunter, “you again…” Tramer said looking up at the clouds “its hard to believe how hard its raining when the stars were out such a short while ago” Tramer continued as he took note that he couldn’t smell the sent of vampire blood on her, leaving him only to assume she had left behind the list he gave her, Tramer new well she had called his bluff and now the logical thing would be to kill her considering she now served no purpose, but as Tramer stood in the rain the tree giving him little protection he took no action, he just stared up at the cloudy sky. Part of Tramer was screaming inside his head to kill her and yet another was keeping him at bay thou Tramer could not tell why, Tramer looked toward the hunter closely examining her eyes “your thinking about killing me right now, thou I cant blame you its what you were trained to do your entire life” Tramer said looking back up toward the sky, a flash of lighting lit up the park for a brief moment, suddenly Tramer reached for his sword slashing downward, a splash of blood hit the ground fallowed by ash quickly being washed away by the rain, another flash of lighting reviled a good dozen vampires sounding Tramer and the hunter, “so I see you weren’t content after are last meeting, its good to see your brought friends” Tramer laughed

“so you bring yourself so low as to speak with hunters now, you’re an insult to your race!” a one-armed vampire hissed angrily

“well at lest im better of then these pore fools around us for aligning themselves with you and your comrades, your nothing more than traders” Tramer said calmly reattaching his sword to his back quickly pulling out his two 9mm hand guns, there silencers still attached, “well none the less at lest you have given me the opportunity to finish the job, your arm has been so lonely on my masters mantle, your head will look very nice beside it!” Tramer hissed taking aim thou whetting for them to take the first move.

Thirteen vampires in total sounded Tramer and the hunter all of which held fully automatic assault rifles, about half aimed for Tramer the other half keep their guns on the hunter.

Rain started to pelt down and within seconds Destiny was soaked still sitting cross legged on the bench. She never cared much for rain, really the only use for it was to clean up the mess after a hunt.
She knew right away when the same vampire from only half and hour before had entered the park. Keeping her eyes shut she stretched out with her mind compleatly aware of all her surroundings.
"What do you mean me again? You came to me..." Her long blonde hair was sticking to her face and the rain ran down her face giving off the appearance of sorrow and that she was crying, seeming vulnerable.
"I can tell you want to kill me, as I said before in the ally; I refuse to play the pawn in your masters game of chess. And yes, I would like to kill you right now. It is because of you that I had to change plans and come here to get soaked in my good clothes. That alone warrents your death."
At the flash of lightening she opened her eyes to face the group of vampires that had appeared. They were fairly new but had enough experience to at least stay alive.
She listened to the leech that seemed to be the leader of the small group and ground her teeth at his insult. As quickly as they had appeared and spoken with Tramer she threw one of her silver sais with pinpoint precision through the vampires back, hitting his heart. He instantly desintagrated to ash and the sai dropped to the ground.
"If there is one thing on this earth that I absolutely hate, it's a cocky leech who has the balls to insult me without faceing me."
Looking up at Tramer she grinned slightly and stood up from the bench ready for the others to make a move.

The park was almost in sight, when the heavens decided to open to let sheets of water fall freely. Iana found the sudden change in the weather to be quite welcoming. The superficial landscape that the city provided tended to press down on her optimism leaving small traces of depression, the kind that only a reminder of nature’s grace could effectively lift. Rain, pure free falling droplets were just that, a reminder of nature’s existence. Iana stood at one of the many Eastern entrances to the park and stared at the sky letting the water drench her whole body.

After basking in the wonders of the earth, she continued her trek. She walked through familiar terrian that she found most comforting. Walking past a pond she paused and watched the ripples collide violent into one another fighting for existence that would only last a brief moment before strolling on. With the rain streaming down Iana hadn’t expected to witness what was happening in the distance as she slowed her pace. A ring of figures enclosed two. Out of curiosity she hid behind a cluster of trees at a safe distance and watched. One of the one’s being attacked was a hunter, or that’s what Iana deduced, for the woman had sent a silver object towards one of the circling figures. “Vampires,” the young witch muttered as the one whom was hit disintegrated. Iana made a decision right then. She would stay and watch, but if things got out of hand she would leave without a moment’s notice.

The rain was pouring down upon Yuuki as she walked through the streets of New York. Her clothes were completely soaked as she hugged her arms close to her body, her boots making spashes in the quickly forming puddles.

"Oh dammit." she swore to herself, turning into a well-furnished apartment building. Entering quickly, she walked up the stairs into her apartment.

Slamming the door behind her, she made no hesitations in getting out of her clothes and into some pajamas to wait. With a flick of her wrist, a smal fire began to burn in the fireplace, drying the clothes she had hung above. Grabbing a towel, and drying her hair, she turned on her computer. Sighing as she sat down in the desk chair, she thought back on what had occured only 10 minutes or so before.
~*~
Destiny had just waived goodbye suddenly to her as the second of the vampires showed up as they were leaving. She began to shout to say goodbye but it was too late as Destiny had already disappeared into the darkness of the streets.
"And I just left my place on the roof too..." Yuuki complained, sighing. "And I was looking forward to some action tonight too." Giving up, she began to walk towards the club district. It was when she was taking a quick shortcut through some alleyways when she realized she did not have to wait that long. A group of vampires came upon her, a young group, probably only a couple months old. Smirking evilly, she clasped her hands together, as fire magic began swirling around her hands. Pulling them apart in an explosion of magic a gleaming steel sword lay in her hands, which she took no hesitation in weilding towards the leeches.
"You guys better be ready!" The only response were growls of hunger from the other side. "Hmm...So you're mindless ones too, that's too bad. I always love a challenge." Within a second she had sprung towards them, weilding the flame sword with ease as she sliced through the mindless bugs.
It wasn't long until they were dead, fire springing up aroudn their bodies as Yuuki cremated them. She released the sword back and did not take a look back as she began walking once more.

~*~

Yuuki sighed in disappointment as she recalled. Lately, more and more mindless leeches had been showing up, and that wasn't a good sign. It meant more and more were being turned, with not enough time to become conscious vampires. Something was definitely up, and the war was escalating by the night.

Dorenel thought he should let his mind relax for a bit. He prepared him self to leave by creating a series of buffering wards so that bullets could not be used to kill him. The buffering wards slowed down anything at the speed of a bullet to a speed where it could be knocked away. He had placed enchantments on his study so that anything hostile to him or his endeavors could not enter, with that his study was a safe haven for him leaving it however was a different story. After preparing he left his study, staff in hand, and went out of his home and into the streets. He walked along for a while and found cityscape to start to get on his nerves. He then walked into a park nearby, Central Park to be exact. He walked the paths for a while and did not yet see another person.

Rex leaned against the wall of the theater in the middle of central park. He did this so he could stay out of th rain. Rex hated the rain. He hated the dampness it brought and the solum gloom of the coulds. It reminded him of the day he lost his parents. Even though he wore a long black trench coat, it purpose was to hide his sword and onther weapons and not to sheild him from the elements even though it helped.

After a long sigh, he peered across the vast park and noticed a a soewhat large group of people gathering. Upon increasing the power of his occular ability he culd see that it was a fight. A fatal one at that. "Not my problem at the moment," He said, but continued to watch.

Tramer smiled contently as the vampire fell to the ground dead, suddenly another flash of lighting lit the area fallowed by blinding darkness, soon another flash of lighting lit the park reviling Tramer had seemingly vanished from were he stood, a satisfying crack stood out from the sound of the rain, a flash of lighting reviled Tramer standing behind on the vampires, the vampire falling to the ground limply quickly turning to ash, another bolt of lighting reviled Tramer gone yet again now standing in front of the next vampire, his claws impaled into the vampire’s chest literally tarring out its hart, suddenly the sound of automatic gunfire felled the park as the remaining vampires fired blinding seeing there comrades being soldered. The sound of four silenced shots stood out from the assault rifle fire quickly fallowed by four thuds as four more of the vampires fell limply to the ground quickly turning to ash, another flash of lighting reviled Tramer standing behind the remaining six vampires, his silenced handguns held in front of him aiming toward the remaining vampires, a wicked smile on his face showing his pronounced fangs.

After the first vampire had started takeing care of the others Destiny calmly walked over to her sai that lay on the ground, picked it up, and placed it back in its strap on her thigh. Her mental abilities were able to keep any stray bullets from hitting her as she headed out of the park and back towards he apartment.
We will see each other again. She thought as she went along her way.
Sopping wet she stompped up the stairs to her floor and unlocked the door. Once she was inside she placed the simple alarms around her small apartment to alert her if anyone who meant harm tryed to enter her domain.
Slowly she stripped herself of the soaked clothes and grabbed a towel in the bathroom to dry off. Once she was dry and semi warm again she slid on a large t shirt and crawled under the covers of her bed. The last time she looked at her clock it read 2:37 am. Her eyes fell slowly and she drifted off to sleep.

A young girl ran across an open field and into the arms of a man. At first both thier faces were not in view. The the scene changed from the green field to that of the inside of an old house. The clothes and structure that the people were in screamed 1700's in Europe. The man from before held the hand of the woman who's long wavy blonde hair reached the small of her back. The man kneeled and offered the woman with a silver ring with a single ruby. The entire scene turn to chaos with excitement over the couples wedding.
Then darkness fell that night and the young woman was killed in her sleep by a monster fear in those parts. The man was the first to discover her lifeless body in her bed. Turning her over the womans pale face was visible for the first time. It was Destiny. A piece of partchment was stabbed into the straw mattress beside her head.
"Hunters be warned. She is the first of many."

Destiny's eyes opened slowly in the morning. Smileing she stretched and got out of bed to make her usual cup of coffee. Makeing her way into the bathroom she looked at herself in the mirrior and remembered her dream.
"Wow, apparently my brain was on crack last night. Haven't ever had a dream like that."
Walking out into the main part of her apartment she sat down at the computer glad that she could work from home.
After all was said and done she looked at the clock, it read 5:09 pm. The night was coming yet again. There was and never will be anyway to change that.

Paying little notice to the rain now, Iana watched intently as the fight before her ensued. The man of the couple being attacked began to retaliate and surprisingly enough the hunter from before was leaving. Iana watched for a few more minutes then decided that she didn’t want to be around when the brawl ended. She turned away from the scene and retraced her footsteps from before. Eventually she reached the small apartment building she was just beginning to consider home.

Once she entered her own living space, she murmured the word siccendo. A warm vortex of air swirled around her until she felt mostly dry. Only her hair was left a tad bit damp. After she hung her coat and hat up on the few wooden pegs jutting out from the small hat stand a step or so from the door. Then with a sigh she meandered into the cluttered kitchen and filled her kettle before setting it to boil. When the water was heating she went into her bedroom, changed into her night cloths and then returned to the kitchen upon hearing the high pitch whistle. She plucked a pale tea bag from a jar labeled ‘peppermint’ then dropped it into an olive green mug while grabbing the kettle and poured the steaming water into the mug. Only a teaspoon full of sugar was added before she grasped the warm mug in one hand and turn the light switch off in the kitchen and headed to her bedroom.

After Iana had finished off her tea and readied herself for bed, she snuggled up under the covers of her full size bed and began to read. She paid no attention to the time and turn the light off when sleep began to take over.

She woke up to the familiar sound of her alarm at 7:30am. Maintaining her regular schedule she readied herself for the day then caught the bus getting off at the hospital. The day progress quite well. The only change or rather annoyance was that she couldn’t rid her mind of scene from the night before. Iana arrived back to apartment around 5pm.

((Sorry...))

Constance's eyes snapped open. The vision was plain and clear and she would not stand for it. The only other of her kind she could trust would not die tonight...She stood and slipped her shoes on, quickly heading out the door and twords the spot her vision had been seen. She would wait until the moment her vision had ended and then slip in. As quickly as he feet would allow, she went to the spot.

Rex stayed in the park long after the others had left. He had no reason to return home, for his job and duty was to kill off the evil race that killed his parents. His actual job on the other hand was overseeing his late father's company and buying stock in other companies. Rex wandered around the streets of New York, long after the rain had stopped and the air became a heavy blanket of cold air.

For a long while he was completely oblivious to the outside world. This was because he was in a deep train of thought. So deep that he had walked unexpectantly in front of a car moving at approximatly 40 mph. It was the scream of the breaks grinding against the asfalt that reawakened him, only to be greated by a pair of oncoming head lights.

Rex drempt. It was not a very signifigant dream, but one only filled with voices and shadows he could not make out. It was followed by a slight, but growing pain before he awakened to the beep of machinery, and the buz of fluoresant lights.

"What in the world happened," Rex said in a soft voice, as he tried to identify where he was. The room had a steril smell and he on a bed with dozens of tubes and wires jutting out from his body. An annoying beeping sound distracted him for quite some time.
