You are, as you stated 15. You are still quite young so you will have a lot of variation in what you will want to do, be it fighter pilot, pastor, astronaut, etc. One day you will thin God wants you to do one thing, and the next you will thin he wants to do the other.

Wait until you are 18 to 20. You'll have more of an idea.

I disagree

I'm just wondering how can you disagree with that?

I believe the above answer would only hinder a person’s spiritual progress because all the thinking has been done for them

thats just like refusing to ask for directions.
God is a spiritual father, and like our flesh fathers, want to HELP us.
And i also don't get, so your saying God doesn't know best for us? Because im pretty sure he does

but helping isn't always helpfull
sometimes it is best to make "mistakes" and better understand the world around you

for better or worse can only be seen reletive to a set figure
better or worse is only how we see it

I don't know if anyone looks at this thread at all, but...

God is calling you to be a preacher? Then do it. If Jesus says so, do it. If God wants you to give up your dreams? Then do it. Your life isn't about you, it's about Him. Always was, always is.
If your grandfather is truly in the Faith, he will definitely understand! If not, then who cares!? You did the Lord's will! That's something to rejoice in!

What, do NONE of you see he is 15? A kid for the most part? You all talk like its some sort of set certainty that he is going to do that. 15 years old? Making a concrete career choice? HA. Sorry.
