Spalding grew wide-eyed again and went sliding in cirlces along the ice rather fast... "RAIIICHUUUUuuuuUUUUuuuuUUU" He squeeled as he was sent towards the wall. Slamming up against it he was knocked out of breath again.
"Oh dear..." Jenette said with a groan. "Let's stay back for a while Dinger! Let's try Thunder again!" She called to him as he tried to straighten himself out.
Once his eyes came back into focus he charged up and sent thunderbolts at his opponent... thankfully across the field.

Aeon flinched as the bolts landed a direct hit, but he didn't back down; getting on all fours, he darted forward as his own electricity and the leftover static from the thunder attack crackled around his body.
"Tsk tsk tsk! This battle isn't going to stay long-distance!" Jen grinned as her pokemon charged up his attack while gaining speed on the icy field; he was just waiting for the command to let loose his electric fury. "Aeon, Volt Tackle attack!"
Smacking against a final pillar, Aeon went flying towards Spalding with an evil grin on his face as an aura electrcity sparked and crackled around his body.

you could just see the 'Oh s**t...' look on Dinger's face. Slowly bringing his little arms in front of his face and his tail curling around his torso he readied for the attack.
"Wow Dinger..." Jenette thought as she slapped her palm to her forehead. "Counter with a Slam while he's close!" She shouted as she watched Aeon bellyflop right on top of Spalding.
Twitching underneath his friend, Spalding had heard the orders right before he was hit. Summoning his strength he went to grab his friend and hopefully throw him over like some fancy wrestling move.

Aeon had the "ZOMG!!" look as he was thrown into a pillar that was crushed under his weight. Knocked for a loop by the surprise attack, the elder Raichu laided there for a few seconds while his thoughts came drifting back to him.
Jen did a faceslap while pondering a possible counter move. She had underestimated the other pokemon, the little bugger was stronger than he looked. Just as she was about to say something to Jenette, the sound of ice being ripped from the ground caught her attention. Jen could only gap in shock at the sight:
Aeon was clutching a thick of ice that he had ripped straight out of the ground. Eyes blazing, he glared at Spalding before spinning in place. After a few spins, he let go of the ice watching it sail through the air.
Jen could only laugh nervously and scratch the back of her neck. "Um.....Strength attack?"

Spalding was watching Aeon sailing through the sky... well maybe the 2 or 3 feet he had thrown him and when he turned around for a second he heard the crackling of the ice as it was broken and he turned around to get a face full of ice right in his right eye. "RAAIII!" He cried as he tried to paw away the ice shards and soon enough he saw the blood dripping onto the crystal clear ice area.
"No!" Jenette gasped as she watched the action take place. She glared at Aeon and wanted to clal the match right then and there.
"Raiiii...." He growled as he stared at Aeon. His eye was now cloudy and cuts were everywhere. His cheeks charged with electricity and soon enough he was sending a storm of thunderbolts from hell at his friend.
"Thunder it is..." She nodded as she watched the thunderbolts shoot across the field.

Aeon swiftly braced himself by digging his forclaws into a foot-hold created by an earlier attack. Grunting, he struggled to bare to the attack until it finally came to an end.
"Alrighty then, Let's end this now! AEON! HYPER BEAM!"
Sliding backwards and bracing himself against an intact pillar, Aeon opened his mouth and began to charge up the attack.
"HEY! Good match, Jennette!" As the amber glow became brighter and brighter on the field, Jen tossed her opponent a grin and thumbs up. "Now, Aeon!"
At the command, the elder Raichu let loose a beam of amber at Spalding.

Spalding wasn't too good on the ice and with this beam coming it seemed impossible to avoid. "Rai.... chu?" He groaned as he covered his head and shook in his place.
Jenette sighed at yet another failed battle. How she wished she could just forfeit and not have to hurt Spalding anymore. She watched as the beam hit and for once Spalding went down gracefully.
Hurrying down to the field she was careful to head out and scoop him up. "Definately!" She called back in a kind tone. Although she was disappointed at having lost she craddled the fainted pokemon in her arms and quietly made her way to the Pokemon center.
