Turquiose.... ( I love crystals and stones, but truthfully Turquiose is one of the only stones I do not own! )

~Henry Van Dyke Those are one of the easiest stones to obtain. Have you tried looking at a New Age shop? They should have some. Or they should at least be able to order you some. Or you can usually find them as jewelry in almost any department store. That's interesting though, most people don't use Turquiose as their birthstone. December, right? I believe that the most common birthstone for December is Blue Topaz, or at least that I've seen any way. There's so many stones for each month, why can't we all just decide on one for each month?!

Ruby, which I dont really like. I think I should have been born in October, Opal is my favorite stone and I love Halloween. Woulda been a perfect trade off...ah well. Being a Cancer isnt so bad.

yeah Turquiose is not hard to find, you are right! I find it even in bead shops, it is just i have no attraction to the stone! surprised i feel that Amythest is my real birthstone because i feel connected to it... much more so than the turquiose... but hey whatever works right? lol
