Basic Idea
This soquili is a hippogryph designed after the traditional Japanese folklore creature, a Tengu - a Crow-creature.

Body:
"raven-black" - so black it's blue. The front half should look more 'feathery' in the coloration, the back half more horse/fur like.

Face:
Clear-blue eyes. Preferably no white showing - just rounded bird-eyes. Also Good Eye ref

IF you think it looks good,maybe editing the shape of the beak a bit to look crow-like. Crow beak


Mane:
CUSTOM.
Short and fluffy. Very glossy blue-black.
Optional: Take some influence from a samurai topknot: Like one of these or This

Tail:
CUSTOM.
I'd like there to be a bird-like spread of feathers at the base of the tail in a pattern kind of like this:

Should also be the glossy blue-black.
But coming out from underneath that, a normal equine tail. Extending about halfway to the ground, and kind of windblown looking.

Female Twin

FEMALE TWIN

The Twin would be a female - based on the male
As a twin, she should have the same colors for body/mane/tail/eyes/etc
The tail can be the same as the male ((if it works with the template, you can use the exact same tail))
If possible, a different style for the mane, Japanese inspired.

She should not have the armor or sword <3.

I would like a few Japanese-inspired accessories, that would be awesome, but I don't know where line line would be drawn to keep her a twin.
If some can be added, here's some ideas or inspiration:
this necklace, hairsticks or a decorative hair comb, kimono-like sleeves like Kumiho, or whatever else you come up with.
Accessories should match color-wise with Jirobo's armor

Have you ever worked for Soquili in the past? Yes. I worked for the shop as a colorist first in 2005, and then again later for a longer period in 2010- 2012
Has a staff member ever bought you a breeding before? Yes, twice when we had a breeding together, and there were two times that a staffmember bought a breeding for me when they were tangentially a part of it
Has a staff member every bought you a custom before? No, never (other than myself)

Why do you want this concept?
Alright, here's the story. My wife, Kamiki, and I have been Absolutely SUPER into/obsessed with Captain America & the Winter Sodier since the movie came out in 2014. It took our already large interest in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and ramped it up to 11. We've read a ton of comics, we cosplay as the characters, we go to conventions, we spend way too much time on tumblr, we write fanfics, we draw fanart, I can go on.

Soquili has been a home and RP land for us since 2005, and it would be SO meaningful to be able to bring the characters into the shop and be able to RP with each other here, plots, etc.

I've been sitting on one custom's worth of credits since I left staff in 2012, but, like I said, it's one custom's worth. I wanted to save what was left after I spent the rest for something really meaningful. And in 2014 I realized what that was after we both got really into this fandom.

I really want us to be able to each get one of the characters to RP together, so it's been my plan to hang onto them until one of us can get the concept, and use the rest of the credits to buy the other.
But... getting a custom slot is hard as hell, can take years upon years, etc. Especially when one of those slots is an edited mutant. Especially when it's a cosplay - which makes even when bribe slots are open a really tricky business to appeal to a colorist. At least the cosplay restrictions have been lifted now, or this would be a literally impossible quest.

Body: Classic Dun - light brown/champagne with texture like the horsebreed refs.
Howeverly, I'd also like extensive scarring around the mechanical arm, like the character:

Face: Dun factor markings, grey-blue eyes - black markings around the eyes to resemble the smudged war paint on the character

Mane: Based after the character's hairstyle, horse-ified. Shaggy, unkempt, bangs that fall a little past the eyes

Tail: About "ankle" length - windblown and messy
Hooves/Fetlocks: No fetlocks

• Horse Muzzle - modeled in style/shaped after horse tack but textured/designed with detailwork like the characters
