It's still early days, the writers have to actually go to work and talk with each other for the first time in months but heres what we're hearing so far.
Grey's Anatomy Expected to shoot 4 to 7 new episodes to air in April/May including the Joshua Jackson episodes.
Private Practice Slim chance it could return with 4 or 5 new episodes this season. Either way, it'll be back in the fall.
(other shows: 24 Season 7 postponed until January '09. Bones Four pre-strike episodes left. Unclear whether additional episodes will be produced for this season. Desperate Housewives Expected to shoot 4 to 7 new episodes to air in April/May. House Expected to shoot 4 to 6 new episodes to air in April/May. Pushing Daisies No new episodes until fall. Dirty Sexy Money No new episodes planned until fall; three remaining pre-strike episodes will undergo some tweaking and kick off fall run. Scrubs Four pre-strike episodes remain. Four additional episodes will likely be shot; unclear whether they'll air on NBC or go straight to DVD. Ugly Betty Expected to shoot 4 to 7 new episodes to air in April/May.)

Exclusive: Lost Finds Post-Grey's Berth! The writers' strike may end up being the best thing that ever happened to Lost. ABC is said to be finalizing a post-strike spring schedule that not only hands Lost its best available time slot, but promises to further strengthen the network's stronghold on Thursday night. According to multiple sources, ABC plans on airing this season's final five* Lost episodes on Thursdays at 10 pm/ET beginning in late April, where it will follow all-new episodes of Grey's freakin' Anatomy! Throw in fresh installments of Ugly Betty at 8 pm and you've got yourself the most formidable one-two-three punch since the early days of CBS' Survivor/CSI/Without a Trace smashup. Creatively speaking, I'd go so far as to say this rivals NBC's storied Must-See-TV juggernaut back in the '90s. And I haven't even gotten to the best part. The best part is that I'm hearing that ABC is strongly considering keeping this dream lineup intact this fall... and beyond. I don't know about you, but this almost makes up for ABC's mishandling of [insert any number of show titles here]. * This just in: I'm now hearing that Lost's final arc may consist of six episodes, not five. No, Team Darlton isn't making an extra episode this season. Rather, the final installment of the current run (aka Episode 8 ) will likely be held to kick off the final batch of five. According to my spies, Episode 7 makes for a better, more logical, break.

I heard that it is very possible they might not be doing anymore episodes of Private Practice but it has been renewed for the fall. That was this week in the USA Today. And House will come back with at least 4 episodes and from what an interview with one of the writers said it will probably be only 4 and then continue next season.

sweatdrop I'm glad the writers strike is over but with how late these shows are coming back on I'm not going to be able to see them if I go away this summer and then I'll be out of the country for a year starting this august for school... I'll be doing a lot of season 5 and for catch up come 2009

Erm, the 24th is a Thursday...?
The only switch I heard about is how LOST is moving to the 10pm slot after Grey's, but I'm not sure if that's happening now or in the fall. (my roommate's the LOST fan, not me)
