Legos(tm)
let's play Legos(tm)! see how they neatly lock? each brightly colored piece links another block. so do we, love, you here with me, see how our bodies mesh so perfectly.
lying beside me now, chest next to mine, now place yourself up close, next to my spine. slide your ribs up and down, each finds its place, each locked between my own, all interlaced.
and though we seem chaste, there's love all around; who knew an embrace could be so profound?

ear mites a sonnet
Poor Tom, our piebald kitten, rubs his ear. He scratches, mewls and whimpers in his pain. But when we try to help him, the poor dear, He treats our medications with disdain.
How like a cat, from succor to refrain, When sweet relief is offered to him here. His independence he must still retain, While yet his sickness increases, I fear.
How like the cat are we, the human breed. We spurn the helping hand, however kind. Prefer to suffer nobly in our need Than in another's debt ourselves to bind. How may we then our healing ever find? Defer our pride, restore our heart and mind?

Sonnet of Disillusion
What if the world were meaningful and joy Awaited each new morning sunrise? What if we had fine talents to employ, Great deeds at hand, and we were strong and wise? What if we glady gave each other aid So cheerful we, no nuisance could annoy, No fearsome foe could make us feel afraid, Nor daily troubles our sweet bliss alloy?
Yet scenes of horror come before our eyes: Disease, war, poverty and crime destroy The innocent, who no guilt have displayed. Ignorant masses right and truth despise And seek low, beastly pleasures to enjoy. No what-ifs can amend our foul charade.
