"Nothing to complain about?" He said, with a nod of his head. "That's good to hear. Problems aren't something one should ask for." Problems only caused trouble after all. And his life was full of problems, Kai stared at the mare carefully however, wondering how she would react to his sudden kindness. She gave him a smile in return, and he knew she didn’t deserve it. Especially for his earlier actions.
But her smile didn’t last for long. It fell as quickly as it came. It gave him some satisfaction to see how his words hurt her.. But there was also the strange mixture of satisfaction mingled with feelings of guilt. ”Was that necessary?“ He asked himself silently, wondering if he could have phrased his words better.. Unfortunately it was. The stallion smiled a slightly strained grin at the mare, before directing his attentions to his friend.
“Great Idea. I’m sure that Nixsi would like to have some time alone with .. the basket after all.” Throwing his head back, to give a grin to his friend who appeared to be hesitant and doubtful but willing to leave. The sooner, the better he would be able to get out of this situation. He knew his actions could be determined as cowardly, but to be honest. He couldn’t have cared any less.
(Be assertive and grab Kai for some alone time! >D)

Nixsi slowly nodded her head though she only half heard Kai's words. "No..." She added quietly. "They aren't..." Her voice trailed off as she stared blankly at some point on the ground; though the point was fuzzy since her concentration was decreasing as her thoughts began to multiply. Kai was talking to her so nonchalantly as if they conversed daily; Nixsi wondered how he could still be so reserved at such a time. Especially when her head as well as her heart were viciously racing. In a way it was unfair; the stallion seemed so unaffected by it all well the mare was causing herself to suffer. Though Nixsi knew that she shouldn't think such things. It was irresponsible to feel sorry for one self and one should always look out for the sake of others. If Kai seemed happy then shouldn't she be happy for him? The mare allowed her eyes to flicker upon the stallion's face. She wouldn't necessarily describe him as happy... Though he didn't look relatively upset either. Perhaps he had found a happy medium. Again the mare couldn't help but wonder how it was possible for him to not be upset in the least. The mare watched curiously as Kai turned to address Rohan; listening closely to his every word. The mare's eyes widened in surprise at his suggestion. He was able to act basically as if nothing had happened between them in the past except for being mere acquaintances and now he was going to leave and continuing acting as if everything was alright or something? Nixsi was becoming further distraught every second and she felt the warm sting of tears at the corners of her eyes. She certainly could be emotional at times. The mare turned her head away; wishing not to look at Kai as she spoke though she knew she would have to if she were to penetrate him in any way. "Kai." Her tone was serious and her eyes were unwavering as she stared into his emerald orbs. "I would prefer some alone time with the basket and you." Nixsi didn't mean to offend the other stallion and she hoped he would understand her situation even though he wasn't aware of the history between them.
