--- The femme shrugged off his nosings and nuzzlings tiredly, becoming slightly fed up with his persistence. She was tired and she wanted to sleep.
--- Six, seven wolves? There was no way Necrala could get away with that many, despite the fact one was Musketeer.
--- Either face yet another shunning, or go without food. The latter option seemed less perilous, and allowing herself to be brought to her feet, the femme nodded towards the silver male.
--- "The clearing..." Necrala replied, swaying slightly on what felt like leaden legs.

Musketeer frowned at her choice unable to understand why she would choose the unprotected clearing without food or water over the packlands. He sighed and slowly moved to crouch and get under her to carry her back to the clearing.
"I'll bring you food...not sure how I'll get you water..." He would have to think of something if she insisted on being stubborn.
With that he heaved up and tested his legs, he felt her weight on his back and shoulders but he doubted she would be a problem to carry. It was more the weight in his heart that would slow him down, how could he leave her in that lonely clearing?

--- Why was he bending dow-....Oh, hell no. That mutt did not expect her to be picked up like some little sack of meat! She wasn't a thing to be carried! And there was no way he was going to-
--- "Hey!" The small femme snapped as she was picked up, laying across his back like a sack of potatoes. A low growl rumbled in her throat and hopelessly she struggled, but wasn't able to heave herself off. "What're you doing? I can walk for myself, wolf!" The femme insisted coldly, despite the truth that most likely she really couldn't.

Musketeer was not easily irritated, he was very laid back, but really she was getting on his nerves. He was already upset that she hadn't called for help days ago, that the humans were going to get away with having hurt her, and that she refused to go to the packland where she would have better care.
He growled softly. "You can't walk all the way back and you know it, stop being so..." He huffed as he kept walking her struggles making it a bit harder but he planted one firm paw infront of the other. Ingrate... He didn't understand why she wouldn't just let him help her, he liked to be helpfull. As happy as he was that she was alive and that he was with her again, he feared she was thinking the total opposite.

--- Why was he so....ugh, dare she say it, humanitarian? Or, in this case wolfitarian. Why was he helping her anyway? Musketeer'd already gotten her out of the hunter's snare, so what was with the extra mile? He'd surely repaid his debt by now! Unless he expected her to be in his debt now. That cheating, little-
--- The corpse-furred she-wolf stopped struggling immediately at his growl, beginning to listen. Someone growled, you listened. Realizing she wasn't going to win this argument (at least, not at the moment), Necrala dropped her head haughtily and resigned to her face, a glare on her maw.

Musketeer was moving along at a steady pace, he could have gone faster, but he worried he would jar Necrala and cause her discomfort. He made sure to move so she wouldn't slip off and it was easier without her struggling. Musketeer wondered what he was doing all this for, this went beyond his usual charm and flirtation. For what? Necrala obviously disliked him, perhaps even hated his guts. He had never come across a more interesting and flustering female. He considered taking her back to the packlands and keeping her there until she was well, but he wanted to prove to her that he was trustworthy.
Didn't mean he couldn't try a hand at reason... "Necrala...won't you reconsider coming to the packlands instead...it'll be easier for you to heal up." He could have made a more compelling argument if talking wasn't so hard with someone on his back.

--- Rock...Rock...Dirt...Another rock....There really wasn't much to do whilst you were flopped across someone's back, especially if it was against your will. Except sulk, and groan and b***h quietly. Which, by the way, she was quite the expert at.
--- Grey eyes watched her companion quietly, a slightly hesitant look to them. What was he trying at? There was no way she was going back into a pack! Even if it was only to heal, and despite the fact it did offer free meals. Never again.
--- "No packs." Necrala replied shortly, full of determination in that statement. She despised them, they despised her, it all worked out mutually.

Musketeer sighed at her stubborn statement and trudged onward, they were getting closer to her clearing, the pack wasn't that far off either. He would stick to it though and leave her in her clearing, then he had to figure out how to get water to her, and he would need to find Alas and bring her to the female.
"Your welcome by the way..." he huffed out quietly his tone a bit hurt.
He was pretty sure he had never put out this much effort to anyone so ungrateful and stubborn. He was used to smirking, saying a few lines and bam the females were falling for him. Not this one though, not the one who's eyes he happened to want to stare at for days on end. Nope Necrala hated him the way he hated humans and sand fleas. It figured.

--- Ears pricked softly at his murmuring, causing an incredulous look from the femme, though he couldn't see it. She didn't remember asking to be carried back to her home, of course she was grateful for his helping her with the trap, she sincerely was, but she didn't need anything else besides that! Her brow furrowed with slight aggravation. The femme let out a growling sigh.
---"Just let me off here. I'm close enough, I can manage. Go back to your pack, I'm fine." She muttered, finding that he obviously didn't like her company as much as she had (previously) disliked his.

Musketeer glanced up at her over his shoulder and huffed. "Don't be so stubborn, I'm taking you all the way there even if it kills me." He kept walking glancing around as they made it back into the clearing and slowly moving to lay down and let Necrala off his back.
He stood and shook off feeling a bit tired, but he would see this all through. "Now stay here...I'll be back as soon as I can with some food...and water."
How he was going to bring her water he had no idea, but he had said it and he was going to do it. He didn't give her a chance to argue either, nor did he let himself look at her eyes again. Instead he turned and dashed off panting.

--- The femme shot him back a dirty glance at his insistings, and despite her increased wigglings (only small ones though, back and forth trying to slide herself off his back. She made no word of this to him, once she was off she'd simply slip off again.
--- Necrala slid down off of Musketeer, only then realizing how tired he seemed. That was sure stupid of him. Why'd he care so much?! It'd be the death of him, that one. The oddly-furred wolf lay herself down in the soft grass and let out a soft sigh of relief, she honesty doubted herself seeing this place again. The field she had grown so...attached? was a fond sight to see. In the back of her mind she was quite grateful for the silver male, despite how odd he was, he did bring her back here.
--- The female opened her mouth to retort, but her 'knight in shining armor' was already racing off in hot pursuit of food for her. "Silly wolf..." She mumbled, resting her head on her paws.

It was not Musketeer who returned however, It was Alas. She came with a small bucket handle in her jaws and the bucket thumping against her chest. She set it down and huffed, the thing was filled with fresh water, and some roots lay at the bottom.
"Your Necrala?" She tilted her head.
"Musketeer got these for you...idiot that he is. He got himself shot...luckily he wasn't followed. He told me to make sure you were alright first, but I couldn't bring everything all at once, I'll bring you some food once I see your neck, but then I really must be off."
Alas shook her head and blinked remembering her manners. "I'm Alas by the way, I visit Musketeer's packlands quite a bit, offer my healing services, which weren't in high demand until today." She still couldn't believe that fool had slipped in to steal from a human camp. What would compell him to such an act of brazen stupidity?

--- Having fallen asleep in the lapse of time that Musketeer left, the femme had fallen asleep with her head on her paws, chest rising and falling softly almost in tempo with the late noon's breeze across the grass, brushing it this way and that. But the odd, slightly hollow thumping of the bucket and the strange swishing of water. As she regained consciously, slowly, she inquired as to the noise. Her clearing was no-where near a...Wait, that didn't smell like that male.
--- In an instant the femme was up on her feet, posture solid and defensive, fur even beginning to bristle towards the new, bright, eye-burning, pink wolf. GOD how she loathed that color. Necrala actually visibly winced, looking at it. "Ya, what's it to you?" She inquired coldly, her attitude towards strangers evident.
--- Eyes flew open at the next bit of information. "He did WHAT?" She barked incredulously, grey eyes mixed with confusion and irritation. That-that IDIOT! Why the hell did he go near the humans? For her? That sure was a right shitty cause! To get himself killed, for her! She couldn't ever think why!
--- Nodding, the female settled down, setting back onto her haunches, more worried (though why she was unsure) about that stupid male than she was wary about this female. "Alright, let's get it done..."

"He got himself shot, not too bad luckily. Though why he did something so foolish I'll never understand, he could have brought you to a stream, the packlands have plenty." She huffed and moved to examine Necrala's neck.
"Well he cleaned it up alright...I think if you just drink up that water, the roots in it will keep the cut form getting infected. Groom yourself as normal and don't scratch at it when it scabs over." Alas nodded and smiled stepping back.
"You'll be okay with a day or two of rest, food, and water...rest and water you have here. I'll leave you a few tidbits at the edge of your clearing until Musketeer can see for himself you not dead." She shook off and looked Necrala over.
"Now if you can manage alone I better go back and yank that arrow out." Alas waited a moment before turning and heading on her way wondering how she could explain all this to Crunch.

--- "Neither will I..." The femme murmured, looking off as she craned her throat to let this healer examine it. That STUPID STUPID wolf. Stupid, stupid her too. Why hadn't she listened to him? Then he wouldn't have gone out and gotten himself nearly killed! But she had a good reason, didn't she? For not going to the pack? Her reason seemed to pale in comparison.
--- "Alright." She mumbled to the blindingly pink wolf, watching her. "Wait.." The femme piped up, looking as the healer left. Now that she'd said that, she had no idea what else to say. After a few moments she spoke again. "Next time you come by, tell me how that idiot's doing, okay?" She inquired, trying to hide the hopefulness in her tone.
