Today, my character and his arch rival were attacked by a rogue Alectrosaurus.

Awesome xd My main characters are now journeying through the desert so that my mage can meet up with a merchant in the capital city and deliver the severed head of the other merchant that she just assassinated. She'd better hurry up before it decomposes. ...Come to think of it, I don't think there's any way for her to make it to the city before the head has rotted beyond recognition confused

In the past few days...
One of my characters had a mental breakdown which lead to three more people joining the party. My MC saw a freaky-deaky creature in the trees, who wound up saving his butt later when he was attacked by Drifters, along with her friend, who's name appears to be Lucian.
Yay!

Today the group encountered a hapless bandit in the woods who learned to fear the fifth member of the party (Daisy the Clydesdale horse).

The characters avoided their first bar brawl after the half dark elf sorceress ended things quickly by putting the instigator's in a death grip.

Today, I killed a god of Iguana-looking aliens. As retribution, he gave himself name that is damn near unpronounceable by his people and a human herpetologist got a new baby iguana. Meanwhile, the 2 fates are having fun spinning their wheel of karma next to the wheel of reincarnation.

Today, my mage left her travel companion asleep and went hunting for food. She killed a large desert predator and then shared it with some desert wolves. Now she has to get back to her companion and they have to continue on their journey, because they need to make it to the capital before the severed head decomposes. xd

Todaaaaay...
an ankylosaurid jabbed my MC in the thigh with some narcotic venom, so he's bopping around being discoordinated when lightning strikes and starts a brush fire. Then that burns up everything for a mile around before the storm starts up again and they get a raging flash flood! So his pack led him up a kind of... cliff ramp, and now they're all hiding in the cave of two Therizinosaurs, who could come back and disembowel them at any time. :'D

Am I the only one whose characters are actually normal human beings in a lit fic story in present time? D:
I haven't written yet today, but last night my MC [who is a teacher] collected some papers, screamed at some kids, and taught meiosis. :/ I think I've officially written myself into a corner. Hopefully when she goes to the movies with the two other characters tonight, things will get better.
Dx I hate novels that have no sex scenes or fights, and my story has absolutely neither. Maybe I'll stick a random sex scene in their somewhere for the fun of it...
