"Interesting." Piney commented and sipped her coffee again. "I think Daybreak's second choice of evolution was a Glaceon, but we never had the resources to travel to Sinnoh and evolve her at the Ice rock... and when we did she already evolved into an Espeon."
She placed her hand on a quivering Pokeball, that indicated that Daybreak was listening. "Yes cute... and violent and bloody... If Armageddon was a different pokemon than an Absol, they would've gotten along better."

Zen couldn't help but laught as Piney mentioned the Ice Rock. Oh man, that place had such great memories. "Sorry 'bout that, its just that I have some really great memories about that place. Ice Rock." He said, calming down. "Sinnoh really is a beautiful place, to bad you never got to see it."
Armageddon's pokeball had stopped its shaking, telling Zen that he was listening, and hearf what Piney had said. "Well, I suppose it would have worked out better. But I just want to know why Daybreak's so scared of him. She did beat him after all." Zen sighed, fiddling with the ball again. "But, you never know, it could work out."
After that, the waiter came back to their table, asking Zen if he wanted a refill. He kindly declined, not wanting to make Piney spend to much money.

"Oh boy... it's a long story." Piney slumped down on the table, ignoring the jiggling that came from Daybreak. Regardless of whether the Espeon wanted her to tell it to this person they practically just met, maybe it'll make him and his Pokemon understand.
"To make things short, we were chasing a Rocket Grunt, hoping that he would lead the team to the base of operations. The forest was extremely thick, and we had to split up. Unfortunetly, Daybreak and I received the path through Dark Pokemon territory. She was still a young Eevee back then.
And the rest is self explained..."
She closed her eyes, seeing the images of that fateful mission flash through her head, though trying not to dwell on it. The flurry of claws and fangs was enough to scar the young officer for life, and what it did to Daybreak's mind was unspeakable...

"Oh...I'm...sorry." Zen said, feeling awful now for making Piney and Daybreak relive those horrible memories. Now he wished he could make it up to her. "I...I don't know what to say. I shouldn't have brought it up." He said, wishing to hit his head against a wall for being so stupid. He would, but they were in public.
"I know it may be the wrong time. but maybe I could show Daybreak that not all Dark Pokemon are bad." He said, a bit of hope in his voice. Maybe he could make it up to them, or it would just end in absolute(no pun intended) disaster.

"It's alright." Piney simply muttered and fingered Daybreak's Pokeball a bit. She was trying to soothe her, as she was probably having an unpleasant trip through memory lane.
"She's gotten better about it. The trip to Inhinx helped. Talking with the Dark Pokemon that lived there helped her understand them more, and she maybe helped them understand humans better...
But you know that already." She sat up and drank the rest of the coffee in her cup. She was going to get a headache now, but Piney didn't care very much right now.
"If you want to try to have Armageddon get over her hate/fear, be my guest."

"Okay, if you say its alright." Zen said, realising Armageddon's pokeball from his fingers. He was obviously feeling bad about some stuff as well, seeing as how the ball had gotten a bit cold.
"Well, that's good. That trip to Inhinx really had to have helped after all. I feel bad for those three though." He said, thinking about the ancient Absol, The bling Umbreon, and The albino Houndoom.
"Well, since we're both done with our coffee, let's go outside. I need some fresh air anyways. The fumes are getting to me."

"That sounds like a good idea." Piney left the money for the coffee on the table and walked outside.
~~~
The crisp autumn air was blowing in her face, which she found to be more relieving than the stuffyness inside that cafe.
Saying nothing, she dropped Daybreak's Pokeball on the ground, releasing the Pokemon inside.
Any wounds or injuries that she had gotten during the battle were almost gone. Only a slight dullness of her gem remained, and that was healing up quick now she was in the sunlight.
Staring at Piney, she gave her a questioning glance as to why she's out here.
Zen smiled as the wind hit his face, bringin in all the scents of Autumn. Aside from winter, Autumn was his favorite season.
Wordlessely mimicking Piney, Zen dropped Armageddon's ball on the ground, releasing the Absol inside of it.
Armageddon's whole body was relieved of any wounds he had sustained from his previous battle, although his fur looked like it could use a nice brushing. He glared up at the sun, preffering the moonlight.
He spotted her and time stopped. It was Daybreak. Armageddon turned towards Zen, giving him a begging look. It basically aked 'Call me back in please.'
What? She called her out for this? So she could humiliate Armageddon more?
Daybreak didn't have a problem with that. Even if she beaten him battle in that last match, he could use a little more. Gem gleaming, she solidify the autumn air into stars.
"NO! Daybreak! We're not going to fight!" Piney attempted to stomp the stars into pieces, but they were too solid and sturdy.
They dissipated into nothing after the Espeon's will to fight was subdued. She sighed and cross her arms.
"You're going to say sorry to Armageddon. Right now."
Daybreak glared at both Piney and the Absol harshly. Why should she apologize? For kicking his a**? What is wrong with her trainer lately?
Staying silent, she just continued to heal her wounds.
Armageddon's hackles rose and hair stood on end as the little thing decided to try a sneak attack, loading a Hyperbeam of his own. Stupid little stuck-up cat.
"Armageddon. No." Zen stated, calling off the hyperbeam. This phrase was taught to Armageddon as soon as they got back from Inhinx, after an incedent with a pidgey.
Armageddon took back hi energy, putting it back into his bloodstream. He was extremly pissed that Zen wasn't letting him show that stupid cat who's boss.
"Now, your going to apologize as well to Daybreak for using a move that could have easily killed her. You don't explode stuff, alright? Now say it.
If only Armageddon had fingers...he would flip Zen off right now. So, instead, he settled for burning a hole into his trainer's eyes.
Piney smacked her head, as Armageddon tried to attack Daybreak. Although Zen calmed him down, she wasn't able to quell the now-rising battle spirit in her.
"Both of you! Chill! You don't have to be enemies every minute of the day!" She turned to Daybreak and gave her a reprimanding glare.
"Listen. Armageddon is just like the Dark Pokemon you've met at Inhinx. He has a backstory, and a soul, just like them. In fact, every single Pokemon does, Dark or not. So you're going to believe it, or I'm keeping you in your Pokeball until you know better."
Daybreak scowled as Piney gave the reason she should forgive that little punk. Her words do make sense, but that still doesn't excuse the fact that he tried to kill her!
Though, if she was going to be stuck in her Pokeball forever because of this, she'd better apologize.
"*... Sorry.*" Daybreak said with a quiet voice.
"Seriously guys, you act like your mortal enemies or something. I swear I've never seen a pair of pokemon as uncooperative as you two." He said, placing a hand on Armageddon's head.
"Now, apologize, or you won't get to come out of this poke'ball during the night." He said sternley, holding up the camoflauge ball. That thing could be considered the bane of Armageddon'e existence.
Armageddon scowled at Zen, wishing that he would not make him do this. She freaking nearly killed him! And he wanted him to apologize?
But then again, if he couldn't go out at night, he would only be riddiculed by the wild dark and ghost types that came around Zen's house/ breeding center at night.
"*'S alright. I'm sorry as well.*" Armageddon said equally quietly. In all actuallity, he was ashamed of himself.
Piney figured that the uttering from the two Pokemon could be seen as apologizing, and sighed. "Well, they've taken the first step. Though I'd think by the next day they'll go back to mauling each other."
What could they do? Stick them into a room and hope for the best? The idea was tangible, but Piney saw many things wrong with that.
Well, it seemed that the two of them were on speaking terms now. Hopefully, they wouldn't try to kill eachother tommorow, if they met. "Hopefully not. I really don't want an injured Absol on my hands." He said, grinning at his own joke.
"So what do you suppose we should do now? If we left them alone, it could end up disaterous."
"I was going to ask you the same question." Piney looked at Daybreak, then Armageddon, and then to Zen. "Do you know anything that your Absol likes to do? So if they share similar interests they can do it together? Or try to?" Except that Daybreak didn't have much interests other than fighting, thinking, and chasing after crooks. And Armageddon would enjoy fighting with Daybreak, as enemies. ((Oh yeah, and I set up a breeding thread here. For no particular reason. XD))
