As long as they don't try to revive the Kandyman, I'm happy with any villains they throw at us! mrgreen
(Er... okay, I could do without the Cheetah people, too.)

goddess velya i think it was just thlose four, weren't they supposed to be the "thinkers" of the dalek empire, sect of skara i think (sp?) cos the solider dalek in "dalek" killed himself after he realised that Rose's DNA was changing him Cult of Skaro is what you're looking for. Skaro being the home planet of the Daleks. There is a fan theory that the Dalek that was in the first series episode "Dalek" was actually Dalek Kaan after he did his emergency beam-out at the end of "Evolution of the Daleks." It would account for why the one in "Dalek" was so completely convinced he was the last one in existence when, clearly as we see from the first series finale, was not the case. "Things don't always happen in the right order," after all. mrgreen Berz.

But the drawback of it is that it means we've seen the end of the Daleks, forever for any future episodes of the series. So, I'm a little skeptical of it. Berz.

It can't be Caan, that is a rather interesting theory, but notice the Dalek markings, the bronze color of Caan to that of the gold "Last Dalek". Plus if it were him, why did he demand orders? HE IS THE NEW SUPREME DALEK!!!! AND HE SHALL CONQUER AND DESTROY!!!! THAT IS THEIR PURPOSE!!!! Sorry went a bit Dalek that time, but the point still stands.
References: Evolution of the Daleks and Dalek & CO Daleks.....get it out of your system, but they are highly accurate, just get one and watch a Dalek episode and compare. See what I mean? 100% mrgreen
killdude007: the Sontarans are a clone race hellbent on winning their long lasting war against the Rutans, just go to Wikipedia or youtube if they have 'em
And yes Rose is coming back, but not in the same episode as the Sontaran one.
Oh and the title for part one of the Sontaran episode is The Sontaran Stratagem

Oh and the title for part one of the Sontaran episode is The Sontaran Stratagem Eh, they looked to be the same color to me. I dunno. And Sek was of a higher rank than the other three, so it is conceivable that Caan would still be looking for orders, just on an instinctual level. The other three only pushed Sek aside because they figured he was no longer a Dalek. That doesn't mean any of them were ready to be the head cheese. As I said, though, it's only a theory. And one I have my doubts about because of the nature of the show itself rather than the characters of any of the Daleks. Berz.

"Things don't always happen in the right order," after all. mrgreen Berz. I think the reason he couldn't find the fleet was because it was hidden, we saw in Bad Wolf/The Parting of the Ways that the Daleks were using the Game Station to hide themselves from detection so either the fleet wasn't there yet, or they were using some other method of hiding... anyway, I loved The Master, he had such a quirky personality, similar to The Doctor in an amusing way, John Simm did a great job making the character fresh and bringing it out of the stereotypes it had been in in previous regenerations. Derek Jacobi was also great as Professor Yana, the sequence where he opened the watch and leading up to it was great. It was such a fantastic idea to have a good guy turn into The Doctor's nemesis by bringing back something used in a previous episode of that season The Daleks were awesome too, I was terrified when the shot panned out to show the entire fleet of Daleks flying towards the Game Station in The Parting of the Ways... I think the Daleks were done better in the first season of the new series than they were in the second and third, it just worked so well to show the broken down solitary Dalek so we almost felt sympathetic towards it and then hit us with the entire evil fleet. However, the Cult of Skaro coming out of the sphere in Army of Ghosts and then the entire army coming out of the Genesis Arc in Doomsday was fantastic and terrifying but I still prefer the Master in the new series, he had such a great personality and he was played so well while the Daleks have been brought back too many times within three seasons for it to be truly terrifying when they do show up
