Louis blinked at his arm for a moment. That didn't hurt at all! He had finally settled down a little, hopped down from the table and stood where he was told. It didn't seem so bad...though he didn't like the sound of that blood sample, not one bit!
Anne, who had been watching quietly until now, decided to speak up. "How are you going to check his dimlight? I'm sorry, but I'm terribly curious." She smiled apologeticaly at Ves.

"Thats fine, to check dim light I was going to turn off the lights of this room to see if it still functions. Tho it might not be to that bright me or Omarr should be able to see it, if that is all right with you Louis?" Ves replied to Anne's question and asking Louis about the lights. Then takeing his height, normal for his age and the weight is fine as well and he writes all of this down.

Anne nodded, taking it all in. She wondered vaguely how well Louis cuold hunt underwater if he wasn't such a shy-away.
Louis fidgited uncomfortably, "Um, I guess..." He whispered, putting his small hands behind his back. He wasn't entirely frightened as much as he was a little aprihensive, now.

Ves walked over to the light switch and turned it off. A faint glows was comming from around the room and hard for anyone to see but for Louis and Omarr would watch him looking around for the glow with his thermal vision. "Louis there are 6 very low lights in the room that you should be able to see go to each location and point to it and Omarr will see you and then tell me. Then after that just the blood sample and then we will be done." Ves said to Louis.

Louis, almost out of instinct, quickly focussed his eyes. Two lights stood out clearly, and he jabbed a finger to each of them. Squinting around for a moment, he found another, then another, then one hiding behind Ves. He moved his arm, making a little noise of affermation at each lowlight.
Anne, however, was blinking groggily, trying to adjust her eyes to what, to her, was pitch black.

Omarr told Ves that Louis had found all of the lights. So he slowly turned the lights up but not bright enought to blind Louis but enought to finish the checkup. "Now I will talk a sample of your blood," Ves said and showing Louis the things that he will be useing and hopeing not to scare the child, but it was better form him to see it be fore he took s ome blood. "When I take come some it will feel like neddle p***k or a bee sting and then it will be over and then we will be done," he said.

Louis wrung his hands nervously, eyes wide, then nodded a little. "Don't take too much, kay...? I need blood to be alive you know..." He whispered, shuffling his feet a little.

"I won't take too much, just a small sample," he replied. Bending down to Louis, put a rubber tubing around one of his arms and rupping the chosen spot in the under sider of his elbow with disinfectant. "Try and not move your arm as I'm taking a sample as it would hurt a little more," Ves said and quickly poked him with the neddle and took a vial sample of Louis's blood. Removing the neddle, sticking a cotten swab over the neddle p***k and putting a super hero bandae over it. "All done and for being a good," he said getting, putting the sample away and reached into one of the cabnets. Ves brought out a nice pair of green-blue colored sun glasses and a nice sized candy bar. "Here and have fun," Ves said has he handed Louis the stuff and smilling at him.

Louis blinked a little. The needle had slipped in and out without leaving a mark, and the band-aid was cool too! Louis shyly accepted the gifts and blinked up at Ves. "...thank you."
Anne smiled at Ves too. "Thank you so much, I'm glad he opened up to you a little too." She gently took Louis' hand and nodded down to him. "Good boy...you deserve those for being so brave."

"Your welcome, Louis. Also to you as well Anne, well he is his a cutey," Ves replied to the both of them and smilling as well. "Take care the both of you," Ves said.
