cellphonetragedy i dont know for sure but i believe the apocalypse has already happened... please post[make conversation] Revelation... Chapter 20... Then I saw an angel come down from heaven with the key to the bottomless pit and a heavy chain in his hand. He seized the dragon-that old serpent, the Devil, Satan-and bound him in chains for a thousand years. The angel threw him into the bottomless pit, which he then shut and locked so Satan could not deceive the nations anymore until the thousand years were finished. Afterward he would be released again for a little while. Then I saw thrones, and the people sitting on them had been given the authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their testimony about Jesus, for proclaiming the word of God. And I saw the souls of those who had not worshiped the beast or his statue, nor accepted his mark on their forehead or their hands. They came to life again, and they reigned with Christ for a thousand years. This is the first resurrection. (The rest of the dead did not come back to life until the thousand years had ended.) Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. For them the second death holds no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him a thousand years. When the thousand years end, Satan will be let out of his prison. He will go out to deceive the nations from every corner of the earth, which are called Gog and Magog. He will gather them together for battle-a mighty host, as numberless as sand along the shore. And I saw them as they went up on the broad plain of the earth and surrounded God's people and the beloved city. But fire from heaven came down on the attacking armies and consumed them. Then the Devil, who betrayed them, was thrown into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur, joining the beast and the false prophet. There they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. And I saw a great white throne, and I saw the one who was sitting on it. The earth and sky fled from his presence, but they found no place to hide. I saw the dead, both great and small, standing before God's throne. And the books were opened, including the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to the things written in the books, according to what they had done. The sea gave up the dead in it, and death and the grave[fn1] gave up the dead in them. They were all judged according to their deeds. And death and the grave were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death-the lake of fire. And anyone whose name was not found recorded in the Book of Life was thrown into the lake of fire. Talks of an Angel locking the satan up in a bottomless pit for 1,000 years and that the world will be deceived no more, and no longer sin and worship Jesus. Has that happend yet? Are we in a perfect world? Do we not Sin? Are we in heaven? Because God said that only the martyrs would be on earth ressurected durring the 1,000 reign. That means that every other Christian who died previously will be in Heaven... So answering your question; no the apocalypse has not happend, because we do not live in a sinless world. That is one of the main points of the apocalypse. So that Satan will be defeated, and we can live with our Father in heaven forever.

mazuac I beleive it's close... but it's not the appocolypse, it's when the book of revelation comes to be. First the rapture will happen, then the anti-christ will rise from Europe, then form a pack with Israel, granting it peace and protection for 7 years. And that's when the Tribulation period will happen. When the "Stars will fall" and the great Earthquake will happen, and then the locusts, the 2million horseman that will kill 1/3 of the population. So... after all this, then Christ comes to the Earth to set up his 1,000 year rain! Praise God! Have you read Left Behind?

The anti-Christ will rise from Europe and form a pact with Israel??? What the hell have you been reading??? No more drugs for you…oookkaayyy.
This is how I know the apocalypse hasn't come yet. There are still way too many annoying little Christians running around. When they all disappear maybe then there will be paradise on earth (fat chance)

This is how I know the apocalypse hasn't come yet. There are still way too many annoying little Christians running around. I don't think the anti-christ will rise from europe, but I'm pretty sure the pact with Israel is in Revelations. I'll have to look it up when I get home, as I'm at school right now...

Heh, the world is not bad ENOUGH for the return of christ or the rapture mind you. in fact as screwed up as the world is right now, it could be 100x worse. i still see people smiling at each other, generosity, and chivalry STILL exists. and i dont give a hell what people say, we have a DAMN good president, whom by the way IS christian. nope, the anti christ won't be coming probably for a good while.

Could be just fabrication. BUT I do know that Revelations says tehre will a time of war, and then a time of peace - approx. seven years each I think.

Yes its in revelations. I believe its a 3 yr treaty with Israel. And I believe a specific temple will be built?
