Luka grins. "Okay!" She looks up in the sky. "Look it's a shooting star! let's make a wish." She grins, looking up at it.

Maynard smiled and looked up at the shooting star. "Eh, why not?" He whispered his wish and leaned back against a tree.

Koshain looks up at the sky and yells " I wish this wasn't happening!!!"
followed by a big KABOOOOM that made the ground shake a little.
She came out from behind a tree in the middle of the forest and ran her fingers down the opposide of where she was hidding, which was now charred and black. "God, I knew I added to much powder. I got to excited & lit it anyway" She took out a piece of rolled up paper titled How to Make a Firework. "But other then that, it must be missing something. Maybe the guy wasn't done writing down the instructions before i stole it." She rolled it back up & put it back in its compartment in her belt and eyed the ground as she walked, as if looking for something.

Maynard stumbled forward in surprise from the boom, his claws extending into sharp points. He fell flat on his face and the got up on his knees, spitting out dirt. "Bleh..." He grimaced.

Koshain saw something glimmering in the ash, so
she bent over to pick it up. She held it close to her face and began scrutinizing it. It was a gold coin, not the item she was looking for.
"Now how does a gold coin make it all the way out here? Theres a trail nearby so i dont see why someone wouldve came over here and dropped it. Unlesss......."

Maynard stood and looked around, heading over to where the 'boom' came from. "Hellou?" He hollared.

Koshain could here a faint and far away cry but she couldn't make out what it was saying. "Heh, hopefully they don't come my way." Then she took a stick that was laying in the ground and began to poke the dirt around the area where the explosion took place.
(Ooc: the only reason why they wont let us wear heavy coats in class is because we could have a conceled weapon or something)

Maynard eventually came across the girl who was responsible for the boom. "Erm...what're you doing?" He asked.

Koshain froze when she heard the voice from behind her and her grip tightened on the stick in her hand. Then she turned to see Maynard. She was paralized from his apperance because she had never seen such a creature before. But she gathered up enough nerve to speak.
"I'm teaching myself how to make fireworks for the next festival in Scelene." 'hopefully he buys that' "And what might you be doing here?"

Maynard swiftly stepped over to her, he leaned it so that their noses almost touched. "Don't lie to me..." He breathed, "Now what are you doing?"

"Why are you so interestred in what I'm doing?" she averted his gaze but she wore a smile. She was never able to hold eye-contact for long.
