I'm trying to get my GM to realize the usefulness of a paladin tank. I have an alt that's rather geared and I would trade a healer spot for some trash for us to get through it a lot faster. It gets annoying to spend time coordinating pulls just because so and so mage cant' sheep properly etc. >.< One day I will be able to bring her in to speed things up. I just impressed them during karazhan woohoo? I tank for a pug kara clear every week >_<
Then again it's hard enough to get it through his skull to bring a resto druid to raid... Thinks us trees are useless during Trash reaver because we can't move fast enough (despite being top of meters) or he forgets I am even in the raid rofl I'll still try!

Paladin tanks are very good tanks. We have a few in my guild, and they proved they can do an excellent job.
Karazhan had been clean several times by guilds using Paladins as Main Tanks. wink
Though I do prefer them when they're healers, I never back off from a donjon/raid when the MT is a paladin. As long as they have the stuff and know how to play, it's fine with me.

Paladins= the tank healers in raids
shammys= the best raid healers
Palas should be holy. the bubble=heal is the best thing to do in kara. ever. imho as a tank

Alina Sedai Paladins= the tank healers in raids shammys= the best raid healers Palas should be holy. the bubble=heal is the best thing to do in kara. ever. imho as a tank if we're only meant to heal then why the ******** do we have protection talents? and why can i tank better than most warriors and druids i meet, yes paladins make good healers, but they shouldn't be limited to only healing by d**k heads who won't believe that paladins can tank even when a paladin tanks brilliantly right infront of their eyes. paladin tanks can get the most aggro buildup against bosses and can tank 10's of adds with aoe and not let a single one go, only real thing we have as weakness to the other tanks is limited hp, but next patch will up it by 10%.

Paladins make excellent tanks.
The diffrence is.
Paladins- Cant tank every boss in the game and slow on the threat build but generate the most.
Warriors- Can tank every boss in the game and takes the best shot.
Druids- a DPS/Tank hybrid good for instances where your tank can help DPS.
Each has there ups and downs.
The fact is Prot Paladins need to find a guild that will take them as Prot.
If you want to join your gulid and they say well only take you with this spec then dont join it in the end is your 15 dollars a month and you should be playing how you like despite how cliche that may sound.
I play a healer. I like to heal you might find it boring but I find it like Tetris. Finding Peace in Chaos.

(rainbow) QFT, though paladins make excellent healers, they have protection talents for a reason, though in heavy hitting fights they dont shine they are excellent at gaining aggro quickly, and maintaining aggro on multiple adds, a place warriors and druids have trouble.

Just to note, paladins rank up there with bear droods in DPS, although our's is through our AoE abilities. Right now, my own includes: - Consecration (soon to be increased by Libram of Eternal Rest) - Imp Holy Shield - Blessing of Sanctuary - Shield Spike - Poison Spores from Ancient Lichen GuardLike I said before, we're awesome tanks & better choices than warrs or druids when you have a bunch of AoE firepower, & a healer able to keep us alive long enough for it to knock everything beating on us down. :3

PUT ON YOUR DPS GEAR AND DPS. OH WAIT, PALADIN DPS IS A WASTE OF A RAID SPOT. I GUESS YOU STILL HAVE BLESSINGS, WE'LL 24 MAN THIS BOSS.
