o-re-sa-ma_Elegance dying your hair doesnt make you less asian. in fact, it makes you more asian. Now that is just silly. It doesn't make you any more or less Asian. However, I find it very very amusing that the OP wears Abercrombie and Fitch. It is known that Abercrombie and Fitch had clothes that shows racial jokes. It makes you look rather dumb that way, to support a company that doesn't respect you. Think of it like this, how smart is a girl that volunteers at a men's club where they have constant women-demeaning jokes?

Dyed hair is rad if you know what you're doing to it. If you're experimenting and it looks awful, take it off. Seriously.
The one thing I absolutely cannot stand on Asians (especially girls) is when they dye their whole head blond. Likewise with Caucasians dying their whole head black.
It just doesn't look right to me. =.=

I've got a relative whose hair is naturally light brown and she's dyes it black a lot. People tell her they like her brown hair, but she hates it!

wtf!?
That girl is an ignorant idiot.
Actually, contraty to popular belief, Japanese people dye their hair alot and now find it weird to see people walking down the streets with their natural hair color.
Ideals of beauty have changed over the years.
But dyeing your alot can be kinda bad. :/ I already have tons of white hair from coloring my hair. mad

ninja One more night , I wanna be with you Where I wanna hold you tight…I would have said "Are you trying to learn me my culture? Just get out."
Your hair color doesn't make you Asian, your blood does [ethnicities in fact]. I don't get why people let out useless comments about it. If you don't like someone's hair, so what? They have the right to do what they want with it. You can't do much about it. This is why RESPECT was born. =/
I dyed my hair around 3 times a year. I try to keep the number at a minimum since I don't want my hair to be dommaged by chemicals. It feels so right Tonight…

I agree completely, the Abercrobie shirt takes away the point of racial honer.

It depends on how you look at it. Personally, I think it's sometimes stereotypical, and Hispanics are often seen with high lighted hair too. As for myself, I like my black hair (I wonder why my childhood highlights are gone...) and I couldn't dye it because I donate my hair.

Because from what I know, in Japan students are not allowed to dye their hair at all and that they must keep their natural hair colour. However, some rebellious students from schools with bad reputations often dye their hair or spray it during their lunch for fun My sister and cousin are from Japan and told me ^^
