08-12-05 "Rogue X" It appears that I have been given guardianship of a creature, a ''Devil Zukin'' to be exact. She was so cute, she had a face of innocence but something in her eyes sparked of something deeper. This is when I knew that the name ''Devil Zukin'' had a meaning to it. I quickly came attacked to the girl and felt like smothering her with love and affection, but I took things slowly, figuring that she might not appreciate the instant lovey-ness that I wanted to provide. She even took the nickname ''Zukie'' well. Not even three days after she arrived, she was looking through a magazine, pointing out one of her old favourite toys. Upon seeing her excitement I smiled, maybe this was another one of those ''dancing games''. But alas, it was a weapon of destruction... I did tell you that Devil Zukin wasn''t just a random name. My little Zukie was pointing to a scythe. Well of course I had to buy it for her, I mean, as long as I set down some ground rules. 1) Do not take the scythe outside of the house unless it is necessary. 2) Being bored is not a reason. 3) Do not take the scythe to anything or anyone, even in anger. After I had agreed to buy it, she looked so happy, and her wings were fluttering ever-so-lightly, reminded me slightly of my own wings... however they were white angel wings with delicate feathers instead of her devil ones, but that didn''t matter. The only thing that mattered at the moment was that Zukin was happy with her new toy.... and that she just destroyed the vase with it! "ZUKIN!"

08-18-05 "Zukin" Well it's been a fun beginning. Rogue bought me a present, a scythe just like my old one. Not only that, but yesterday she showed me a game, an amazing game. It's called 'Dance Dance Revolution', and I am already so great at it, I've been playing since the moment I got it... well, not exactly. Rogue made me eat and sleep, she's what you would call a good 'guardian'. She takes care of me, and makes sure I'm treated right. Truth be told, she has her bad side, just like me. I think this is fitted perfectly, except that I don't have a brother to hate. He comes around and basically asks for trouble, so he got it. Rogue threw a vase at him, all I did watch watch and giggle. At least it wasn't an expensive vase, well he wont be coming around here for a little while. Well, I've unlocked most of the songs on my new game, and it's so exciting, and apparently you can loose weight with it too. I don't really care about that, but hey, it's still a plus right? How do you end one of these journal things anyway? Goodbye?... That's work. Goodbye.

A screen appears with Zukin's upside down face, she's sitting on an unmade bed with clothes thrown everywhere and toys in every place imaginable, except for the toybox in the corner. Zukin just tilts her head and blinks.*
Hi... camera thing. I lost my journal so Rogue gave me her camera to use this week until I find it. I think somebody might have stol-
Nobody could have stolen it, nobody's been in this house but us. You just need to clean your room!
Erm.. yeah, that was Rogue, my guardian, she's really cool... except when I don't clean my room, then she's all mean and 'clean your room'.
Rogue's got wings too, eh? She just told me a few days ago, she's half drag-dracog-draca... Draconian, that's it. She's got wings and stuff, and she can fly, she's also supposed to have some magical abilities, but she said she doesn't know what they are. 'They have yet to reveal themselves, if they ever do' she said, cause she's only half...
Anywho, I got a new friend this week. His name is Reno, is uber-cool, he showed me around Traverse Town, we went to the playground and then got ice-cream. Rogue joked around that I was already getting into older men, and then she joked and said it was my first date...
Camera, do you know what a date is? Isn't that some kind of snack?
I don't know, anyway, we had so much fun, at least I did, I'm not sure if he did, cause he's older, but I'm not supposed to call him Mr. and then we-
Zukin, dinner's ready.
I'll be there in a minute *Zukin turns her head to the door.*
You have better be ready to clean your room after.
... well I guess I better go, you can see my mess, it's gonna take at LEAST.... twenty minutes to clean... I'm going to die in this mess.
Now... how do I turn you off...

Zukin's room looked the same it did everyday, there's that bed... and the closet... and was that chair there last time?
oh... my... Is that a floor?
Zukin giggled as she talked to herself, tidying up her dresser top before sitting at her desk and taking out a book, a diary of sorts.
"I'm going on a play-date with Mozenrath todaaaay... I wonder what a 'date' is? I thought it was food, but Rogue said that when we're older we're gonna go on 'real dates'... I wonder what the difference is? Aw well, no matter. When I'm done cleaning we're gonna go over to Auntie Shaille's house."
"Are you done yet? I'm hungry, let's go get some food on the way!" Rogue called from down the stairs.
Zukin grinned "you're such a piggeh!" she said, closing the book and heading out the bedroom door.
"Well I could just get food for myself and make Mozenrath buy you something, all gentlemen-like."
Zukin rolled her eyes and moved to put her shoes on as Rogue joked "you'll get it when you're older"
Zukin pretended to strangle Rogue as the two walked out the front door, "I wonder if Mozenrath will have flowers..."
Zukin rolled her eyes "flowers? why? He's a guy... adults are weird."

Zukin grinned as she pulled out her notebook from a hidden pocket.
"I got lost in this huge castle, it's kinda fun, but Mozenrath is still in the kitchen stuffing his face, I wonder how he's still skinny like me when he eats more... Rogue said I have a fast meta-batt-limes.**
Anyways, Rogue and auntie Shaille kept giggling before Mozenrath and me left, they're creepy. Adults are really weird, I mean... Rogue kept making this weird face and grinning like her teeth were going to fall out...
Anyways, I better get back to the kitchen, my tummy's making weird noises again"
And off she runs after pocketing her notebook, scythe grasped tightly in her hand.

*A month or so later*
Zukin was running through a field filled with snow. "This is so neat-o! I've never seen this stuff before!"
Rogue walked up from behind her while laughing slightly "it may be neato, but it get very cold, and you can get very sick from being out here without proper clothes." As she spoke she flung a scarf around Zukin's neck, "there, getting better."
Zukin huffed "this smells funny."
"That's because it's cloth m'dear... no, stop pulling it down!"
"But it itches, and it's annoying there!!!"
Rogue giggled as the youth tried to unravel herself from the evils of the scarf. "I shouldn't be thinking this is funny, I went through exactly the same thing when I was her age..." She giggled again.
Just then a small piece of white-something fell on Zukin's nose, "ack, it's cold!" She spoke fast as she raised her hands to wipe her nose free of the evil-coldness.Rogue patted her head "I told you so, c'mon let's go home, dinner's almost ready and I'm hungry!"
Zukin nodded and followed Rogue, the two walking side by side holding hands and skipping while trying to outrun the dreaded snow.

*static* *a camera turns on, and zooms in on Zukin's face*
"Zukin here!" Zukin sat on her bed and smiled as she sat the camera on her desk. "I'm here to put a date down in my cam-diary... of course, it's really late... entry-wise. But we got a new addition to le-famille. Minerva, she wears this pretty green dress, and she's really pretty and polite and-"
*from the other side of the room, a voice calls out*
"I'm trying to sleep Zukin, be quite!"
"Scratch the polite-ness, I guess someone's a little grouchy pants!"
"I'll show you grouchy pants! It's three in the morning!"
"Oh calm down prince-"
*Zukin gets hit by a pillow and falls off the bed*
"Hey! That's totally not cool!"
"Deal with it, I'm tired!"
"Hey, get away from my-"
*A swish of green and then there is only static*

"Huge major date thing!" A voice called from out of the view of the camera, "You ready? You ready? Huh? Huh?"
"Just do it already!"
"Go play with your boyfriend Minerva!"
"Puck's not my-"
"I grew! I'm a teen, Ya-Ha!" Zukin jumped in front on the camera "Aren't I cool lookin'? I think I'm cool lookin'!"
"Why are you still here!?"
Zukin turned to face Minerva off-screen. "Oh right," Zukin turned back to the camera and grinned "since I grew, I get my own room. Now Minerva, don't put up the pictures of Puck right away, that's stalkerish!"
"Why can't you just go bury yourself!?"
"Because then I can't hassle you about your future boyfriend!"
"ZUKIN!"
"Fine, Fine, I'm leaving! Sheesh, way to PMS!" Zukin picked up a box and headed out the door, a few seconds later she came back in the room for the camera, making kissy-face noises.
"GET OUT!" A green pillow with lacy trim went flying towards Zukin, knocking over the camera and turning it off in the process.

Dear Diary.
So today I went to go see Duo, since I was in the neighbourhood.
It was fun, seeing an old friend again... but he asked me about... kissing, french kissing specifically.
Oh how embarassing that was! I'm so glad he didn't notice, then again... he is a child, so it's perfectly understandable.
