Saiya didn't understand half of what he was saying to her, as she stood and listened. Her body wasn't listening to her...she wanted to leave. "A...Akane..." She whispered. He couldn't hear her due to him speaking. "Akane!" She yelled as she took hold of his arm before he could slip away from her. "Please...please don't go...I don't want you to leave..." She held on tight to him, so he couldn't push her away. She wouldn't let him slip through her grasp. Her knees were weak, and she didn't know what to do now. She just stood there with his arm held tightly in hers. "Please....Akane....please don't leave me behind..." Saiya didn't know were any of this was comming from. She had only known him...not even half a day! How could she feel so strongly about a person with no emotional connection? "...You do have a home...It's Oto...Shou needs you with him....the ANBU need you...the villagers need you to protect them...Everyone needs you..." Her voice faded as she choked down a feeling to cry. She'd been doing that quite a lot today...It was the first in many years she'd cried so much.

"Its not them I care about right now." His voice seemed to faid and he looked at her. "You still don't get it?" He shrugged. "Well I don't get you. Why do you give a damn about me staying? You have that boy to protect you now, let alone your stronger then I. And the rest of the ANBU!? Bah hahahaha, like they need me....I have been holding them back since I got here. I screwed up the first mission I did getting here." He then growled. "I heard they sent that basterd you were baby sitting to redo it." He then spat at the ground growling.

Saiya had enough of Akane's bitching and released his arm. "Stop it!" She screached as he finished speaking. She raised her hand and smacked it across his face. There was no way she was going to let him speak to her in such a manner. "You are cared a lot, much more than you know, Akane! But maybe you're too blind to realize what is right in front of you!" She took a moment, and realized what she had done. "I...I'm sorry...I shouldn't have..." She placed her hand gently on his cheek she had just slapped. "I'm sorry...I'm so very sorry...I seemed to have hurt you quite a lot today..." A fake smile spread across her face as she retreated her hand, and took a step away from him. "I...I want you to stay...if not for the village...then..." Her voice stopped in the middle of her sentence as she gathered the courage to tell him... "...then stay for ....for me..." She knew it was like calling to a wild animal. You could say something meaningful, but just get blown away for it.

Akane listened till the slap. His head jerked to the side he took it full force but his face didn't show pain it seemed. Not hate not anything but a smile formed and he laughed a bit. "You sound like a more loving version of Shou. He hit me harder across the face." When she went to pull away her hand his quickly stopped her and held it there. "If you truly want me to stay I will...its just I want you to...tell me now and don't hold back. Tell me what I mean to you."

Saiya didn't know what to say to him. Her voice stood still...her knees trembled. What...What did he mean to her? She didn't know him well enough to know. Nobody had ever gotten close to her so fast without trying. "I...I don't know what to tell you..." Her gaze fell to the floor before her, as he held her hand to his face. Her face lost color as she began to tremble more. Her body wanted to drop to the floor, but her will kept her standing. She'd had enough of seeming so much like a normal woman that day. She was a kage, and needed to keep herself together. She cared for him...a lot...but it was different from how she felt about the children at the Academy, or Shou, or even...her own parents...She looked back up to him, and looked into his eyes. She truely had no way to answer him.

He saw it. Her answer was clear but she couldn't say it. He only had one thing to do that might get him his answer. 'Maybe this will loosen you up.' He thought and without warning his head slowly moved closer his lips aimed for hers. Once they would touch his hand would move from hers both hands resting on her hips. He wanted her to admit herself to him. He wanted her to say how she felt, now she had a chance to with her lips.

Saiya felt his lips against her's as her knees locked up. What did he just do?! He! He was kissing her!!!! She struggled against him for a moment before relaxing, and enjoying the feeling of his lips against hers. She was grateful to him that he hadn't tried to force the words from her, but...this was a different approach to getting his answer. She diffinitly hadn't been expecting such a thing from a man like him. She pressed her mouth to his a bit harder as her heart beat faster, and faster as she pulled away from him. She gazed into his eyes, and asked, "Why..." She didn't know exactly what she was asking 'why' for, but...she needed to know. Perhaps it was why he kissed her, or maybe why he hadn't left.

He nods looking at her. "Cause its been such a short time but I feel like I love you..." He sighed stepping back a bit. "Its crazy I know." He then sighed. "Thats why I kissed you and thats why I can't leave." He bows and stands. "I am sorry lady Kage." He looked in her eyes. "I thank you though for returning the kiss. At least I know someone cares. But I would rather not risk your view with the people. If this goes any farther you may lose respect for being with me." He cared more about her then himself.

Saiya's faced turned a crimson red as he told her that he loved her. Even after he kissed her he had called her 'Lady Kage.' She laughed openly as he finished talking. "Do you really think I care about what people think of me?! I'm a late teen who happends to be a Kage?! I don't give a damn what people think! I've got problems of my own just like everyone else does! Their view of me shouldn't be a 'great leader who is perfect'! It should be of a normal girl who took everything she was given and made use of it!" She looked at him, calming down a bit. "If I were to try and say I was perfect...nobody would think they were great themselves..." She turned her head away from him in a desperate attempt to gather her thoughts. "You know...I...I don't think you're crazy...and losing respect isn't something I keep on my 'what not to do' list." Saiya looked back at him and smiled. He was right. Even though it was such a short time, she felt herself care more about him than anyone.

"Well how about this? We finish this day with a dinner so you can gather your thoughts and tell me the game plan." He nods. "And I will cook you some nice dinner of your choice. And well your dumb struck over the meal you will be able to think about it ok?" He chuckled a bit trying to lighten the mood in the area. "And maybe you can tell me your story like I told you mine." He bowed and held out his hand for her. "Will you be my guest for the night lady Kage?"

Saiya smiled at Akane happily, and nodded. "Deal!" She laughed and took his hand. She stuck her toungue out playfully and ran off, leting him go, to take a bit of a lead. "So, what shall we do until that time comes?" She turned around and looked back at Akane. He was so much different than he first thought. His mood was making her feel a bit better. At least he hadn't made her cry again. She was happy he wasn't going to leave Otogakure, but she wasn't sure if she was the right one to have made him stay. She looked ahead of her as she waited for him to catch up. "You lead alright?" She said quietly as she wondered what it was she actually felt for him. Her thoughts swirled in her head as she waited for Akane.

"No your lead, we need to grab the ingrediants for your choice in food. So I will pay for it but you pick it out and I will guess what you wanted. Or you could tell me and have a great meal." He smiled and shrugged. "Its all up to you Saiya." He then gasped. "Sorry Lady Kage forgot we were in public." He rubbed the back of his head and looked down. "Well find everything you need I will cook." He bowed and looked around at the different shops.

Saiya laughed at Akane, and grabbed his hand. "It's alright, Akane. You can call me Saiya, it is my name afterall." She smiled up at him gently before thinking about what she'd want to eat. Hm...I want...something...good...something I don't get very often...Ah! I know! Saiya looked at Akane, smiling. "I know what I want! Grilled Chicken Balls cooked on bamboo sticks! Oh! And Kobacha Squash Cake!!!" She liked her lips in anticipation of the delicious meal to come. Realizing he may not even know what it was she laughed nervously. "Sorry...Do you know how to make it? Or shall I cook?" She offered willingly her services to cook for him. Hm...I feel like a bit of liquir too... She thought to herself for a moment about the fact she hadn't been to the bar here in Oto either. She had a lot of things she'd need to check out before she could rightfully call herself a Kage of Otogakure.

Akane scratched his head. "Well instead how about you teach me a new meal." He said jokingly to her. He had never heard of that meal ever. He then sighed his eyes looked down to see his hand was in hers. "What the?" He said nothing more and smiled chuckling. "THats new. I don't even think my mother held my hand as a kid." He shrugged. "its new, but I like it kind of feels like your telling me your there." He was like a child learning everything from here. "I think this will all be ok..." He nods and sighes. "I hope Shou takes it well..."

Shiku sprinted through the crowd, dipping and dogding through people here and there. He had to see Rosie, he was running to the clinic like he was running from the cops or something. As he was running he bumped a man holding a vase, that made the man break it and he yelled a couple of unappropreate words to him, and then Shiku jumped over a box that a man had just sat down. He stopped as he seen the enternce to the clinic. There it was, the Otogakure clinic. Rosie. He thought to himself as he run toward the clinic.
