Ekage smiled, and a purred rumbled low from his throat as she leaned against him. Things seemed s perfect now, they could go on little adventures, but always come back to a home, a home, their home. He smiled, and curled his tail around himself, but close to hers so it lay side by side with her own. Brown eyes watched her, and something felt so lovely, this feeling, he had never known before.
"Yes, I'll stay here," with her, though he wasn't sure of adding the last part on just yet, he didn't want to worry her and have her get nervous to be around him, and pull away.
Ekage got bold though, and placed a gentle lick on her cheek, and smiled at her, and stood beside her. "How about we go look for someplace for me to call my own huh? I'm sure you know of all the best places."

Upon hearing his answer, the female shook with excitement. Now it was a for sure thing that Ekage would never be far away from her. She still lived with her family, but with him living in the Pridelands, she would be able to visit him on a whim. If she had been a dog, her tail would have been wagging a mile a minute. But since she wasn't, she merely smiled and nuzzled her face into his soft mane.
At the suggestion that she help him find a place for himself, Amesi immediately nodded and rose to her paws. "Sure!" she giggled happily. She began walking a bit, but never strayed so far that her tail couldn't still touch him easily.
"What sort of place would you like?" she asked. "In the plains? Close to Pride Rock; not close to it?" She was trying to get an idea of what he wanted, but she was simply too overwhelmed with joy to really concentrate. She was just so happy that he would be staying in the Pridelands, her heart was soaring. She wasn't even worried about what her father might think if he knew that she had been spending all of her time with a male he didn't know, and was seeming to develop feelings for him.
Which made her wonder... what did he feel towards her? There was guarded uncertainty in her eyes for a moment, but it vanished as soon as it had arrived and she looked no different than before, a bright smile on her face. Life was good now.
