Corbin puffed out his chest proudly as she complimented his fur "Well that's because I'm a Zangoose. ALL Zangooses have the softest fur." He boasted, not knowing if that was really true or not. He flicked his tail, allowing the end of it to tickle her face. He found himself curious and reached out and touched her arm, careful of his long claws.
"Whoa... you feel really weird..." In boy terms that was a complimented. He lifted his ears and looked at her. "Hn so..." He put his hand down and into his pocket, his tail pulling its self away from her. "Are we gonna go or not?"

Tyra often got that 'weird' statement, but she was getting use to it. In fact she was often proud of being referred to as weird.
"Zangoose?" she echoed like a parrot. If all Zangoose were like Corbin she couldn't wait to meet another!
"Yah my skin is rather rubbery! My mama says its cause I am a plant type." she boasted proudly. She giggled as the tail fur tickled her face before moving back to its original spot. She then let a vine reach out for one last final pet.
She was getting use to the fact not everyone liked her vines. In fact it seemed to scare more people at first. So she only let one out before looking up at him and beamed. He was agreeing to help! She would of danced right there and then if her mother wasn't looking.
"That's great! I need new...well everything! i tend to wear things out faster than i grow!" she said echoing a phrase her mother had used with her often.
"Why are you here though? Maybe I can help you out too!"

Corbin watched the vine and seemed mazed. He watched as it touched his tail and reached out his fingers to touch it. That was actually kinda... cool (for a girl). He wondered how much she could pick up, his tail wagging as he investigated it like it was a toy. He only had his very long and daunting claws.
He tore his eyes away from the vine and shrugged. He wondered how you could need a new 'everything'. Wouldn't that be hard to carry home? "Music." He said simply.

Tyra was more than happy that Corbin didn't seem to be afraid of her vines. Fenrir hadn't been afraid either, and the feebas girl had gotten use to them. She let him play with the vine before letting it withdraw back into her body.
She then let two come out to wave 'hi' to Corbin. "Music? Oh! What Kind?" she asked, aside from making jewelry she loved listening to music as well. In fact the two activities went hand in hand. Making jewelry? Have music playing.
She tended to like Celtic music, there was something more earthy about it than most music, though she would never turn down listening to other types. And with Christmas around the corner currently she was listening to every Christmas song and Christmas song remake she could lay her vines one.
"Hun, we better go get those clothes or we will be here till the mall closes." Jayoku piped up as she knew her daughter could talk for eons on random subjects.
Tyra looked up to her mother and then nodded her head. Using a vine she wrapped it around Corbin's hand gently and then started forward. In a sense it was like she was holding his hand...just not with her own hand. "Yes yes! We better hurry! You help me and then i can help you!" she continued babbling away.

Corbin began to answer but was cut off by her mother. He looked back at his father before being pulled along with the grass type. He looked down at his hand and frowned. Great, girl germs. "Letgo! I can walk on my own!" He said to her. He was here for clothes too but he didn't want to go shopping with a girl. Although he still wanted his reward.
"I'm Gregory." Greg introduced himself with Jayoku with a small grin.

Tyra only giggled at Corbins reaction. "Of course you can walk on your own. But that isn't nearly as much fun now is it?" She quipped enthusiastically. Though she didn't mean it to sound like she was making fun of him, she was in fact just having fun.
"what hobbies do you have?" she asked curiously.
Jayoku looked to Gregory and smiled nodding her head at him. "Jayoku." she said introducing herself to him. She then looked back to her daughter...she must make a mental note to tell her daughter that being so pushy could annoy people....

Corbin glared and tried to pull his hand away. "It is!" He blinked at her in confusion. "Hobbies? I don't have any I guess..." He answered, fixing his red hair with his claws.
"We'd better keep up or they're likely to get lost." Greg muttered starting afte the pair.

Tyra only giggled as Corbin yanked his hand out of her vine grasp and giggled more as he stated he had no hobbies.
"That can't be true! Even watching television can be a hobby! Though mommy says it is an unhealthy one!" she explained with bob of her head, her leaf wiggling as she moved.
Jayoku nodded her head at Greg's comment. "So where do you think we are headed first? Clothes? or music?" she asked the other parent as her daughter was taking them no where in particular.

"Well uh... I dance..." He admitted shyly. "But I learned from the TV and stuff so does that make it bad?" His tail twitched uncomfortably. He hoped not, he really liked doing it.
"If Corbin has his way it'll be music." The man replied with a grin. "Do you smoke?" He asked offering her a pack.
Corbin bristled as he saw a sign with musical notes on it. He didn't hesitate, he grabbed Tyra's hand and started toward the store. "C'mon hurry!" He said as though the music would disappear or the store would close.
"Told ya... He has a good eye and ear for music."

Tyra perked at the word dance. "No way! If your doing stuff it can't be bad! Not if you like it!" she encouraged with a firm nod of her head. "What kind of da...." she started only to have her hand grabbed and then tugged along.
She felt a thrill cause Corbin was holding her hand freely! And taking her somewhere! how exciting! Oh it was the music store! It was all very exciting for the chikorita girl.
"What kind of music?' she managed to gasp out as the entered the store.
Jayoku shook her head. "No, I don't. Tried it once and gagged for a long time." she said with a scowl at the memory. "Though I was really young when that happened...I just don't intend to start. And can i ask one favor? Please don't smoke around Tyra. Being a plant type she tends to absorb whats inthe air around her easily." Jayoku sid with a wince hoping not to offend Corbins father. She was just looking out for her daughters best interest.

Corbin let a smile escape as he tugged her into the store. He came to a stop, not releasing her hand and looked around at all the CD titles. "I don't know what its called... but dad does. Its... got no words."
"No problem..." He gave a light grin to Jayoku and slipped the pack into his pocket. "So... do you come here often?" He flashed her a light smirk to indicate he was giving a friendly flirt. He followed the kids into the store.

"Oh! I love music like that!" she quipped, celtic ws her favorite type at the moment. She also liked silly songs...but some of them didn't make sense to her.
"I should let you borrow some of my cd's! I have lots with no words!" she said with not of her head. Her red eyes scanned the titles on the shelf, she was still learning how to read so some of the words left her baffeled.
"Ah well not really. Tyra is rather hyper a lot, and the mall just seems to make her more so. We tend to stick to craft stores cause she likes making beaded necklaces and things like that." she replied with a smile, as tey walked into the store she looked about at the sale signs seeing what was available at a reasonable price.

Corbin stared at her slightly, surprised thinking she'd like lots of words. She talked a lot after all. He kept hold of her hand, slightly nervous of the taller people as he pulled her deeper into the store. "There!" He pointed to a CD with a picture of a ballerina on top. "That's the kind of dancing I do!" He jumped, trying to reach the CD. It was really high up on a shelf.
Greg stuck near Jayoku, not noticing his son's plight. "Ah I see..." He muttered, realizing she hadn't picked up on the lame pick up line. "Corbin... does weird stuff..." He admitted with a sigh. "Isn't it wrong for a kid to like ballet and yoga at such a young age? I hope its just a phase...."

Tyra looked up at the ballerina cd and let a vine reach up to pick the cd that was just our of the Zangoose's reach. She then lowered it back to his hand letting it go into his fingers.
"That is cool! Are you very good? Do you were the tu..tu thing?" she asked pointing with her finger at the ballerina's dress.
Jayoku giggled giving a cute look to Greg. "No no. I wish Tyra would be interested in it. Afraid she doesn't have the attention span for it." she replied honestly. She gave the man a nudge with her elbow in a cute manner before pointing to their children.
"Looks like they are getting better along than earlier." she stated with a smirk.

Corbin hugged the CD and gave her a rare true smile. "I guess I am.. but I don't wear the tutu thing. Dad said those are only for girls..." He wrinkled his nose. "I wear a black shirt and pants.... only they're attached." He said oddly, wagging his tail.
"I wish Corbin had a short attention span. I'm paying for ballerina lessons for him." He glanced over at the nudge and grinned. "Indeed it does... I'm glad. He doesn't seem to like girls but I think he's at the 'cooties' stage." He looked over at her with a smile. "So ah... do you raise Tyra all on your own?"
