"Actually, I'd say you're probably in total agreement with your father on that one; as far as I know he doesn't find that many stallions attractive either." Grinning, Antony draped a wing over Loveless and gave her a nuzzle, unwilling to sacrifice any more jocularity for blah. They'd spent enough time being serious, subject or no. "Though you DO have excellant taste in your limited stallions, I still say rigid moral code. You turned me down, after all, and THAT contradicts this claim of yours."
Blithely, he gave Loveless a light nudge, indicating that she should start walking as he, deciding they'd stood in one place long enough, began to make his way through the trees once again. "Plus you keep changing the subject and trying to make suspicions accusations against me, which indicates you WANT me to be on the defensive and unfocused..."
However, he gave her a reassuring squeeze, understanding at least somewhat the concern in her last question. "Totally fabulous, Lessy. But I think we've hammered that out enough for the moment, don't you? I'm not the one who might be pregnant, after all, so how YOU'RE doing is more important. But you really seem to be taking it ok, so I'd say in the end, all is great!"

Loveless was quiet for all of Antony's speech, and she listened to him quietly with a small grin on her face. Antony's humor lightened her up once again, but when some serious word came out of him, she was her quiet usual self. Since they were now moving slowly across the ground, she kept herself close to him, and also kept her eyes peered on the area ahead of them. "I am sorry, I was just scattered brained for quite awhile. I am really ok now." With a reassuring nod, she clung next to him and sighed quietly for a moment.
She didn't know why she brought herself to silence for a few moments, but it as a habit of hers that she couldn't break. "All is indeed great, but I just wonder what I should do now. Should I just wait and see what happens? I am not one hundred percent sure that this is all happening, but I suppose my body will be the judge of that.." With shifty eyes, she looked down at her hooves, realizing it would soon be a time game.
"Ah well, I will have to pay close attention to myself. That shouldn't be too hard, though."

"Well, we'll just have to see what happens and take it as it comes." After all, worrying about things wasn't going to make them go away; it wasn't going to make them come true, either. He wasn't a 'kid' stallion, after all, at least not in the sense that he ached for kids; if it turned out there was no pregnancy, he'd be fine. Then again, that's not to say he wouldn't be fine if there WAS a pregnancy, but his throbbing skull already bore testament to how well that possibility had gone over.
At any rate, he meant what he'd said. Adjust one step at a time, then it's less traumatic!
"At any rate, paying attention isn't so hard. I can always watch your body for you, if you need any help. You have to pay close attention to catch these minute changes, after all!" Still, Tony was still teasing as he walked along at Loveless' side, the worry dismissed by his 'put it off for later' mentality. But that reminded him... "Speaking of paying attention, has your dad said anything? You've been around him a lot lately, right?"
If Ariston suspected something, that might explain a LOT of the other stallion's behavior earlier >>

"Watch my body for me?" She then added, responding quickly after he spoke. "Isn't that what you do anyways?" Bumping into him with a light nudge, she giggled to herself and enjoyed her own smack at a joke. When she really thought about it, that was pretty much true.. "Since you are the professional and everything, I would feel safe knowing you were watching me."
At his next comment, she could only think to herself before responding. That was a hard call.. her father didn't notice in changes in her, since physically she hadn't grown too much. "My father is an expert at noticing body changes, as I am sure you could imagine." With a grin, she nodded lightly and knew the truth to her statement. "He noticed that I have been a bit off emotionally, but I assure you when and if my body does start changing, he will be the first to call me out. He knew instantly when my mother was pregnant, since he finds gaining weight as a noticeable flaw."
She couldn't help laugh towards the end of her response, since her father was SO predictable.

"Well, yeah, but this way I know I have permission, thus decreasing the likelihood you'd get all violent and kalona-y on me." The fact that Tony could joke about 'kalona-y behavior' when he'd been so paranoid about just that thing spoke volumes, not only about himself but also about Loveless. If he ignored the fangs, horns, wings, and tail, she could almost be any regular mare! Sorta.
That in mind, he onlt gave Loveless a grin. Really, if he didn't think about possibilities, he could really enjoy himself with Loveless. "Well, at least we know you have a knowlegable parent. Usually it's the mother, but I guess whatever works for you?"
Grinning, Antony looked down at Loveless, his usual c**k-sure attitude firmly back in place. After all, there was no need to worry about possibilities; as his father always said, enjoy the present while you can! "But you know...until you see him again and have a chance to ask his opinion, you could always give me a chance to decide if your body is any different..."

Loveless felt a warm flash hit and then leave her body, and while Antony was speaking she was silent and deep in thought. Her body felt.. alright, but the strange temperature flash startled her. "Ugh" she then muttered, before lowering her eyes into a glare. For some reason.. she got really pissy and uncomfortable, and Antony's words were soon vanished out of her mind.
The mare quickly removed herself from next to Antony, and she was glad to have the stallion off her. In her flashy moment, she felt as if he was smothering her, and she couldn't stand it. She felt cornered, unloved, and unworthy. It was such a strange feeling, and Loveless' emotions were flaring in disgust.
"I can't do this right now. I don't remember what we were even talking about, but I'm sorry..." she glanced back at the stallion, and held furrowed brows. "I suddenly feel ill."

Shot down again. Oh well, such was his lot in life, and once more wouldn't kill him. Shaking his head in rueful amusement, Antony pulled back his wing as Loveless moved off, folding it over his back to sit with the other one. "Ah well, can't say I didn't try."
Still, he gave the mare a somewhat concerned look in spite of his accepting attitude; she had said earlier that she'd felt worse lately, and if she felt ill... "But maybe you should lie down and take a nap or something. I can let your father know where you are, if you want; I doubt those two have made it that far from where we left them."
If she was ill, she might need some help, after all, and he didn't know heads from tails when it came to physical unwellness!

"Yes.. I probably should go nap or something." She clicked her tongue to the top of her mouth, and glanced off in front of her. "Don't worry, my father has already forgotten he was with me. That's how his mind works, by dealing with one thing at a time, and forgetting all of the others." With a light smirk, she allowed herself a giggle even in her huffy attitude.
"Don't worry about me, though. I just come find you in a little bit. I am not being pleasant, and I certainly don't want to drag you down." She knew that her attitude had suddenly shifted, and she most certainly didn't want to scare Antony! "I'll be happy knowing you are enjoying yourself.." Rather then.. hurting in pain like she was.. "But anyhow, I should really be going to a more comfortable spot. We'll meet up later, ok?" She glanced at him, though adjusted her eyes to a more kind expression.

"Well, you never know." Then again, she DID know her father better than Tony did, and he supposed it would be nice to give Ariston and Guilian a bit more time to catch up. It was difficult to say how long those two'd be talking, anyway.
So Antony merely nodded, glancing back over his shoulder the way they'd come on the small off-chance he could spy either the tell-tale white or red. "Though if this is a ploy for solitude, I can respect that, too." As well as an order from a potentially irate kalona. Or even a suggestion from a potentially irate kalona. "You go nap, and I'll go...roam. Do some catching up of my own." Once his father was done talking, at least.
"But just so you know, I'll be in the area for a while, at least. It's been a bit, and I owe some people some visits. It ought to be easy to find me, and otherwise, maybe I'll find you."
With that, Antony gave Loveless one final grin, then turned and walked off through the trees. All things considered, this day had thus far been positive...for the most part.
