Hairy Priest Takuha I think it's true. These sort of stupid things keep increasingly happening in doctor who, but we have to trust RTD to not make it make it seem like the wierdest and stupidest idea in the shows history. I'm with Takuha... this is the sort of idea that RTD seems to think is really clever, but sounds kind of lame. Like the YANA thing, the seemingly random Torchwood references in series 2, and Jack = FOB. Astrid = Tardis... god, please, no... I'd really hate to see the Doctor falling in love with his friggin' time machine. That reminds me of Andromeda, that goofy 'Hercules in Space' TV show from a while back. I wish they'd dispense with such cheesy ideas and stick to solid storytelling. PLEASE. I liked the Torchwood references, and the YANA thing was alright, but I refuse to believe that Jack is the Face of Boe. It's ridiculous - what the hell happened to the rest of his body?!

Hey, I'm sure you wouldn't look to great either if you were millions of years old xd

Nurse Muffin I mean what would a tardis wear? confused Some Fun Facts from what I suppose I have to call the 'Expanded Universe':(I hate calling it that. Not because I'm hung up on its 'canonicity', but just because I hate having to borrow a term from Star Wars fandom of all places) The conciousness of a TARDIS is too different from that of a humanoid being for TARDISes prior to the 102-type to be able to directly assume human form. When the Doctor's type 40 previously had to project itself as a living being, the best it could manage was a silver cat. In the novels then the attempt to develop a 'humanoid TARDIS' was part of the arms race that preceeded the Second Great Time War. It was eventually brought about when one of the Remote (a species predisposed to receive and process all the signals and messages floating about around them) travelled for a time about the Doctor's TARDIS and ended up processing so many of the TARDIS's signals that she evolved into one herself. She was the only Type-102, and the Type-103s and beyond were her descendants. One of whom, Glinda, has appeared in the audios.

Well, he's definitely in the threee 2009 specials. He's said that he "knows further ahead than I've ever known, which is that I'm coming back in 2009". My way of thinking is that one of those specials will be a Christmas one, and they wouldn't ruin everyone's Christmas by regenerating the Doctor.
If it turns out that she IS telling the truth, then she's bang out of order. It's for David to say, not her. As I've said on numerous occasions, don't believe ANYTHING until officially confirmed by the BBC or the person it is regarding.
Added to which, she's not going to be in Series Five, so how does she know?!

I remember her--didn't know she had kids though. makes you wonder how TARDISes have kids, seeing as she was the only humanoid TARDIS.....
