"Cubs would be a blessing to anyone, I guess. The timing should be right since females only go through estrus only a few times thoughout the twelves moon cycles. But then again, things just happen," he spoke as he walked on. He knew a lot about females, and some of his subjects dabbled on the heat of females and how they could produce cubs. He had not planned to actually use the knowledge, at least not yet. To be honest, as much as he enjoyed the company of females and their beauty, he was not ready to be a fahter just yet.
"I could only imagine how my father felt about me... though, he still plays around with me when he was around."
Zeki smiled and turned his head a little. It was charming and innocent. How could she repay him? He giggled at the idea of probably starting a family with her, but she was content with her son. Besides, he wasn't ready for that quite yet, after all, he had just met her. She could send out a message to his father, but she would have no idea where he was... he didn't even know. Well, she was a Goddess... and he has been seeking some...
"Well, I have asked most of the Goddesses I have met for a gift, a blessing if you wish. I have only a single blessing so far, and I hope to have more soon," he stopped and turned to her. "Lady Mtima'safi, could I have a feather from your gorgeous wings?"

Mtima smiled, glad to hear from Zeki that he supposed cubs would be a blessing to anyone- it was a good thing to hear from someone, for sometimes unexpected things came up. Kubwa and his son were a good example, the white lion had reacted nicely- if not a bit too confidently. Surely Boma's small son was alive and well, Kubwa would not let anything happen to him. She was again a bit impressed, if not concerned, about how much about biology that the youth knew. Especially about that kind of biology.
She was intrigued at his mention of his father, wondering what exactly his words meant but not questioning them. When he looked back at her, she could almost read his mind at the first laughable idea- considering their conversation. She only offered a reproving smile, and perked up when he finally spoke.
"A feather?" she repeated, then nodded carefully, "Alright, you get me to their den and you can have a feather."

Zeki smiled with some hope renewed knowing that would be rewarded for his help. With a soft chuckle, he turned around and slowly began a trot to the den where he was staying with Uncle Ezeoha and his cousins. The Goddess of Souls were seeking the cubs of Kia and Ezeoha... Ezekiel's cousin, not in the sense of the special relationship he and his father shared being "brothers" but in reality themselves being cousins. To be presented before a beautiful Goddess as she, no doubt the rather charming and viril male would likely hit on her...
"Oh! I should warn you, Mtima'safi, my Uncle is quite the charmer, more so than I. If you are content with your current mortal family and not push any more cubs at him that he already has; try to ignore his advances!" he laughed out as he started into the dash to the den.
He bounded up a slight hill before stopping. Down the hill side and a little ways was the den that the golden Pride Lander charmer made his home with his children.
"There it is, that is where you'll find what you are looking for."

Mtima returned the bright smile, and when he suddenly offered a warning she tilted her head curiously- though she kept up with him and did not look too worried. Anyone who had charmed Kia could not be dangerous, and she knew it would be a stretch to imagine the cubs would be- protective, maybe. What Zeki warned her of made her smile a bit, for a bit of the puzzle behind Kia's situation became clearer. Of course, she had been naive to the situation. Mtima only hoped Zeki's uncle had been naive to that fact as well, but if not it certainly landed him with some responsibility.
"Of course," she said replied in a murmur, "Thank you." When Zeki picked up the pace, the goddess remained moving at her own steady pace so long as she did not lose sight of her guide. She caught up shortly after he stopped to point out the den. With the den in sight, her smile widened.
"Thank you very much, Ezekiel," she said gratefully, and now that they were stopped she took a moment to turn to her wings. Without even a flinch, she carefully pulled loose a feather and turned to Zeki to hand it over to him. Setting on the ground before him, she beamed, "Your feather."

Zeki dipped his head and picked the feather from the ground, placing it between his paws. With a purr, he dipped his head again. To obtain yet another feather just made him beam with pride that he had pleased a God, or in this case and most likely others, Goddess, that he just could not help but feel stronger in spirit.
"Thank you, Miss Mtima'safi, I do hope you find what you are looking for, and thank you for this gift, I shall hold onto it," with a dip and a smile, he looked down at the feather.
"Now, if you would excuse me, Goddess of Souls, I have a meeting with a very close friend that I must not keep her waiting. Otherwise, she will have my tail," he gave a slight wink before picking up the feather carefully. As he started off to head to the said female, he stopped and looked over his shoulder.
"Remember, do avoid Ezeoha's advances!" he laughed and disappeared into the savanna.

The goddess of souls was very pleased. So far her trip had involved minimal contact with the Pridelanders, and she'd already managed to find one third of those she came to see! Well, she was on the verge of finding them- and she started to wonder what they might look like, if they had inherited the wanderlust of Amoret and Kia. It seemed unlikely if they were still all here, though perhaps it was easier to hold back with a good family..
All her questions would soon be answered.
She was, however, startled when Zeki's plans suddenly changed from making sure she found those she sought to leaving for a meeting with a friend. Of course she did not wish to keep him from other obligations, she was pleased he had gotten her this far so quickly.
"Thank you again," she called after him, and grinned a bit at his second reminder about Ezeoha. Then she looked back to where the den was to think about how to continue from here.
