"A prince?? well, he seemed a little too regal to be common when I found him" Galbriel answered, still looking a tad shocked. So much to take in in such a short amount of time. He was glad Jade was eating lunch right now and not liable to return just yet. He knew about royal views on family, he dealt closely with the Naga royal family after all.
"no it wouldn't, but it just seems like such an irresponsible thing to do." Galbriel said quietly, not liking the Butterfly King at all.
"ah I see, i'll try and keep him totally cut off from the prince then" Galbriel paused, nodding at the womans words. "he will be kept secret and kept in the dark about this, I promise you that" he couldn't stand for Jade to relapse.

Calistina smiled softly. The snake really did care for him. She looked out the window and onto the water gardens. "I am just glad he is alright. My own son is rarely home as his work takes him out to sea nearly all the time. Visiting Jade made the seperation easier. But for now, just keep Jade...I mean Amber...isolated from the royal family. I don't want them knowing about him."
She crossed her legs and rearranged her dressfolds. Her beauty was flawless and she obviously knew how to flaunt it in away that wasn't perverse but subtle and erotic. "I remember him writing letters to me, wanting me to come stay with him whenever he needed someone who could stand up to his father. I would pull him into my lap and brush his hair. He always enjoyed that."

Galbriel followed her gaze, his own gaze landing on Jade who had retreated back to the Koi pond. He sighed softly, feeling a little distraught. If he couldnt help Jade remember, then how good was he for him?? "I have yet to find a life partner, I would not know how painful it is to have a child away from home for so long" Galbriel answered.

"Oh I am not married. I find the whole idea silly frankly. But you have such affection for Amber, I am at least assured he is kindly treated. Frankly I wonder if I should just leave him with you and hope he never remembers. He'd lead a better life in my opinion. But if you like I can come and stay occationally." She looked to Galbriel and waited for his answer to her statements and question.

"my affection is merely based on how vulnerable he is, it's taken a lot to get him this far. He was very closed off and clingy when he first arrived" Galbriel answered, turning his gaze to Calistina with a smile. "though, I know by experience, he's suffering from a broken heart...it seems the Prince is the source of it" Galbriel finally answered, it was a little late, but he had been mulling it over ever since Calistina said that the two princes were acquainted.
"It would be better, not to shelter him here as it is only a matter of time until he is discovered" Galbriel murmured, sweeping a hand through his brunette hair once again. He thought that Jade was at least noble, the fact he was royalty was a tad surprising. He had been away from court for a number of months on a peace campaign, it was only natural that he had not been informed about the recent visitors from court. "we should think of a time, when we reveal him as alive, Lady Calistina. Though we'd have a number of questions to answer" Galbriel said, letting his gaze drift down to the gardens, which were now vacant. He wondered absently if Jade was in the library at all. "and...we must make sure Prince Illsaide does not take this as a kidnapping"

"He was quiet vunerable before he lost his memory. But he had the spoiled behavior of a Prince to top it off."She also glanced out the window and hoped jade was keeping himself safe and out of sight for now. For now, she didn't say anything more about the two princes relationship, frankly she couldn't imagine what would happen if he knew they had been engaged.
When he spoke of revealing his living status and preventing an accusation of kidnapping, Calistina just smiled."Oh leave that to me, Lord Galbriel. For those that know me, which the Naga King is one, I am an invalubale source of information. So if I say I know what happened to Jade, then it is taken as the truth. I will make sure you are not brought to any harm." Even if she had to use some of her more important contacts to make sure of that, she would. The Naga was taking good care of jade and the butterfly was improving both in mind and body in his care.

Galbriel chuckled a little at this, wondering absently if the amnesia had improved Jade in anyway. He slid his gaze to Calistina, filing away in passing that she was quite beautiful. Though that was all he did, it was something that had to be observed.
"I hope my prince has not caused any harm towards Jade, though the emotional torment is evident on his face" Galbriel said quietly, wondering curiously about what had happened between them. "I take it, you do not wish to speak of the relationship between them" he stated more than asked, it was evident really. He just had to verify it.
"I see, then you are most welcome to stay for as long as you wish, Amber obviously likes you a lot" Galbriel said with a smile, glad that both himself and Jade were clear of any incoming danger. He looked up as the door creaked open and Jade poked his head around it.
"I asked the maid, if I could bring you and Calistina your lunch" he murmured, a little nervous about interupting their conversation. He hadn't heard anything unusual though, and once Galbriel had nodded he pushed the door open fully and carried the tray in. He walked towards the desk and set it down on the table, gravitating towards Galbriel automatically to cuddle him, almost like a child would to their mother.
"ah, chicken salad is it??" he asked quietly, his eyes sweeping over the two servings of salad, accompanied with some tea and a slice of cake each. Jade nodded, not sure on whether he was allowed to stay or not. "the staff keep looking at me funny" he murmured quietly and Galbriel smiled, running a hand through Jade's hair. "don't worry, they won't say anything" he said, his gaze flicking to Calistina.
"are you staying for a little while?" Jade asked quietly, aiming his question at Calistina with an excited little smile.

"No, I do not. It is not an important matter right now." She was quite firm in her answer to that. Frankly she could't see Jade being very happily here if, even without his memories, he felt so much pain seeing Illsaide. She smiled as her invitation to stay was extended. "Ah I thank you, he is such a wonderful thing."
She watched the boy come in quietly, making a note in her head to have a "casual" conversation with the kitchen staff about Lord Galbriel's prety page. She could make sure, by giving them the idea that she didn't know him, that they didn't suspect anything. At Jade's question she smiled and nodded. "Oh yes, I will be stayed for a few days yet."

"yes he is, though he has a habit of not staying in his own bed at night...he also sleepwalks" Galbriel answered, eating a bit of salad after he had spoken. Jade had contented himself with perching in Galbriel's lap, braiding a few strands of the Naga's long hair. Galbriel said nothing about this and merely poured a cup of tea for Calistina and one for himself.
"I can show you around the gardens and you can tell me about the Goblin Kingdom" Jade said excitedly, turning around to look at Calistina with an excited smile. He was glad she was staying, she was so nice to him and she still felt familiar.

"Thank you." She took the tea with the delicate grace of a true woman of the court and sipped it with as much class. Despite her rather...unladylike clothing, she obviously knew proper court manners. She smirked a bit, seeing Jade sitting across the Naga's lap but he already said his affection for Jade was not in the physical sense. Then she turned her attention back to Jade.
"Well Amber my dear that does sound lovely. But I'm afraid I cannot walk to far into them. Being so dark skinned I tend to get hot very quickly so I prefer to stay close to the Palace. So we won't wander too far from this area if that is alright." She smirked at his want to learn about the Goblin Kingdom. A small pain in her heart was there at that, remembered the promise of the young prince to take a honeymoon at her home. Just to get away from the royal life. She supposed he didn't need that anymore. "Oh the Goblin Kingdom is a very interesting place, perhaps one day Galbriel will let you come see it should he go there."

"will a sun umbrella not help??" Jade asked, curious as to why the heat got to her so much. He sat forward a little, his skin a nice light tan from the countless hours he had spent in the hot sun of the Naga Kingdom. He was surprised at how ladylike Calistina was, her clothing spoke otherwise. Galbriel merely contented himself to eat his lunch, wondering if Calistina would eat hers or leave it, he didn't mind, it was just another thought he filed away.
"Amber, can you go ask the maids to prepare a room for Lady Calistina??" he asked, they needed to think this through. Would it be safe for Jade to continue taking up residence here?? Jade smiled and nodding, stood and went out of the room to ask the maid to prepare a room. "I think it would be more worthwhile, to moving him either into a private wing, or out of the kingdom..but I'd need the King's permission to do the first"

"No my dear, I am afraid not. For even when the sun is blocked from above, the warm rays simply bounce off the ground and come right back up at me. It is a rather blinding moment for me." She cursed her drow blood for that. Bright lights and too much sun didn't do well for her health. She nibbled ever so delicately on the lunch, after all it was delicious. She smirked to herself at the thought of the poor envoy who would arrive later.
She watched Jade leave to arrange her living quarters then considered Galbriel's words. It would not be safe to keep Jade here for much longer, suspicion would become too high. So, she gave the only obvious answer she could think of. "Or I could take him with me when I returned to my home in the Goblin Kingdom. You could always say you are sending him with a private message and I am to accompany him there. I assure you he'd be quite safe in my home."

Galbriel smiled as Calistina started to eat, he was already partways through his chocolate cake. Still worrying about Jade being found. What would they do to a prince without his memories?? simply sell him off?? forget him?? He knew now that his young charge's father had abandoned him as soon as an inconvenience arose. He studied Calistina, waiting for an answer to his words.
"would that be all right with you? I would not like to inconvenience you any" he answered, giving her a worried look. It was only gentlemanly not to leave a woman in an inconvenient situation. "then questions as to the contents of the message, the reciever and Jade's connections to me would arise...he would have to be smuggled out secretly" Galbriel said, already working out what they could do.

"In all truthfulness Jade had been planning to come stay with me before he disappeared. So no, it would be no inconvenience. I'd love to have him come stay with me." She began to nibble on the chocolate cake, delicately wiping her mouth with a napkin. "If you are going to smuggle him he will start to become suspicious. After all, you arrived here with no problems." Jade may not have his memories but he was still quite aware if something wasn't right.

"I was already on my way back to the palace when I found Amber, he passed out and my arrival was expected...I will see if I can get clearance for you to leave under the pretense of a message for me at least, then Jade may secretly accompany you" Galbriel answered, finding this whole thing a tad stressful right now. True, he was always worrying when Jade was out of his sight. "then you won't be stopped at the gates"
"we can tell Amber that you are allowing him to go and visit the Goblin Kingdom, just tell him half the truth" Galbriel said, it would pain him to lie even a little to Jade. But he had no idea how the Butterfly would take being told he had to leave the Naga kingdom.
