He blinked, trying to understand the position he was in when being picked up. He looked up at her, left, right, then down, surprised to notice that she was now standing up, and he could all of a sudden feel a strange feeling of being quite high up. He twitched an ear and looked down, finding this position quite nice. "I-it feels good, actually," He looked up at her, a smile spread across his face.

Touya smiled at the small cat. "That's good." She said softly to the cat. She walked over slowly to the bench, trying not to lose grip on Dyllan in her arms. She sat down, cradling Dyllan close to her body. She slipped a hand out and stroked the fur on the side of Dyllan's face. Her hands moved towards Dyllan's collar. "you have an owner, no?" She asked softly. She didn't want to make him feel awkward but... she was curious about owners and cats.

Dyllan blushed abit, finding it maybe too comforting being held close to Touya. He felt the tips of fur on his face tingle as she stroked him, feeling happy from it and purring.
He then shook his head, "Nope, afraid not. I warded away from my home for almost a while now.." He remembered what his life was previously like, and it didn't seem as relaxing compared to what he was feeling now. He wondered what Touya went through before she lost her collar and became.. that.. but he wasn't sure on asking it yet

Touya heard this little Tom's puss as her hands moved slowly through his fur. "won't your owner be sad that you ran away?" she asked him softly, pausing her hand for a moment as she spoke to him. She looked at his dark blue collar with the golden studs. She was reminded of the scar around her neck from the collar. The collar must've been hurting Dyllan so much. she looked at his orangy kitty eyes of content and she smiled at him silently.

Dyllan was still looking down as he pondered on what Touya said, Could they really have missed him? "No. by the way their life seemed to go, they probably might have already replaced me with some other kitten." He shook his head once more, his face seeming to show slight signs of sadness. His family wasn't always that good to him; they seemed to think of Dyllan more as a toy than a living being, hence why he left, and what had given him that thought. He didn't want to think that he was just something to be replaced. As he gulped, he could feel a slight tense feeling coming from the collar, showing it's signs of slowly getting tighter around his neck. Although the pain didn't hurt him too greatly.
He blinked, almost forgetting he hadn't said much after that, and looked up, and noticed Touya was looking into his eyes, smiling. in Turn, all he could make out was a shy small smile.

Her pale skinned hand warmly stroked the side of his face once more. "they must have at least thought about you before 'replacing' you." She said softly. "You must've impacted their lives even a little bit." she added softly as she moved her hand down to his soft stomach where the fur was at it's least. The back of her hand moved slowly as the gold studs kept catching her eye. It stood out on his glossy black fur.

Dyllan wasn't sure how to put the reply into words, and could only shake his head in protest, and went abit into his thoughts. The light calming strokes made him purr with content, making him not want to think about the past, and more on where his future could possibly lead him.

Touya smiled softly as her fingers played through the fur on Dyllan's forepaws and body. She touched his soft ears. They seemed fragile so she touched them softly.

His ears twitched, body feeling jittery as he felt the fingers of Touya stroke his fur. His purr seemed to heighten in volume. "Y-you sure know how to handle a cat~" He dreamily commented, tail swishing around freely to express his calm mood.

Touya moved her hands away from the dark ears of Dyllan. But a smiled creeped up on her face as he complimented her. She moved him into a sitting position near her chest and bent down. She pecked his forehead softly with her lips. "you know how to make a girl happy." She replied softly to Dyllan.

He blushed and looked up at her sheepishly, returning the peck on his head with a lick near her cheek, "I-i'm glad that I'm making you happy." He wasn't as usually complimented by his looks, or his ways. It felt good to feel something positive about himself. He was sorta curious about one thing though..
"W-what does it feel like, being.. human-like?" He asked in a whisper, kinda shy to ask it. He wanted to see what she thought about it, to see if he would like being a human too. although whether it was good or not, he felt a great need to be one despite it. for what reason though, he wasn't sure just yet himself.

Touya stroked the furs on his face and replied softly, "being human-like is just like being a cat. But it's more convenient with the thumbs and all." She wondered what the Gaians thought when they saw her and Dyllan on the bench. But she really didn't see many perks in being an anthro... Just the thumbs got her attention... "But just make sure that if being human is really what you want." She said in conclusion. She didn't feel shy around Dyllan now that she had gotten used to the air around him.

Dyllan did a noise that sounded somewhat like a laugh, "I see. Sure sounds helpful" He looked away, his face expressing on being deep in thought while pondering about what it could be like as an Anthro. To be able to walk on two legs. to be able to try and survive better in that way. And to be like Touya..?
His eyes seemed to shine as he looked back towards Touya, a smile spread on his face, "Being one sounds like a great idea.."

She smiled back at his little cat self and said, "Glad you think so." She stroked a thumb near the top of his face, right above his eye. She looked up and saw that the sun had reached mid-point. "Are you hungry, Dyllan?" She asked softly to the cat. She felt a bit of an empty feeling in her stomach and she wondered the same for Dyllan...

as if in reply his stomach let out a little rumble, sounding somewhat like a growl. He just did a shy smile and nodded, "I guess a small bite wouldn't hurt.." He wriggled abit, feeling rather anxious on hunting. Oh! But Touya wasn't exactly a cat anymore, so she couldn't hunt the same way he did, "Um.. where would you like to go to get some food?"
