Jessica winced because she still felt his iron grip on her arm. What's with the sudden commands? She rolled her eyes and concentrated for a moment before she poofed alongside the knight to the door of the throne room.
"Why so sudden?"
She asked in a calm voice.

Kris stood up in his throne and asked in a quite loud voice,"Show me your forearm!".He walked towards Jessica and grasped her forearm roughly and turned it upside down.He stared at the skin,"You better hope your brand is on your other arm!"He shouted his eyes glaring red.

Ori stumbled out the front door of the HQ.He stood up quick trying to cover up his fall.Man...this pressure is killing me.He walked out to the hill.He looked at the moon.Geez it's cold out here.....He sat down and stared at the moon.

Star walked into the throne room as well, and looked over to where Blackwing stood with Jessica. "Yes, Lord Blackwing?" Star asked patiently.

Glancing around, she smiled at the silence although she disliked the interior of the building. Shaking her head, she looked back at the door, only to see the man yet again. Truthfully she had seen him around before, but never really needed to remember his name. Scratching the back of her neck, she looked back yet again and followed slowly, enjoying the cool air. She stood at the bottom of the hill, not really in the mood to follow, and sat down, smoothing out her dress under her.

Ori noticed the girl.He walked over."So what's your story with Blackwing?"He said calmly.He sat down next to her.

Kris's face showed relief and his eyes returned to their yellow color,"Very well,i've had a lot of spies in this takeover,you are dismissed."Kris said and sat back on his throne.

Jessica nodded and turned to leave. His last sentence froze her.
"Spies?"
She turned around to face him again.
"My Lord, I'm sorry for the interruption."
She paused to collect her thoughts a bit and let him think too.
"Spies from the rebellion? Do you still suspect more in here?"
She asked. She was a little curious as to why spies were here and how they got in. More importantly, she wanted to find out about the rebellion. No, she made up her mind never to join it, but she couldn't help but ask.

Kris raised his head from the throne,"Spies from the rebellion and mercenaries that are hired from the other lands to kill me before can get there, and-"an arrow thumped next to Kris's head.A hooded figure stood on a balcony holding a crossbow.Kris's eyes flashed red and glwed."KILL HIM!"He shouted as a flaming sword appeared in his hand.The flames on this sword were black.Kris spread his wings and flew at the archer.The man drew a cutlass and attempted to black Kris's sword but it just melted.Kris stabbed at the man as black flames soon engulfed him.His eyes still red with anger."See what I mean?NOW GO!and tell all other Blackwing Guardians to put this room under high security"He said.His voice filled with hatred.

Jessica stopped herself from saying anything else. She knew better. She nodded, bowed, and left the throne room.
"Spies...Against him?"
She has always known him as all-powerful and was quite surprised people would risk their lives to defeat him.

Looking over she tilted her head to the side. "Probably the same as everyone else's." Brushing a few strands of hair behind her ear she continued, "I lost my home, my family, m- the village and everyone in it." Biting her lip nervously, she pushed the thoughts to the back of her mind. "Sound familiar?" With a small laugh, she looked up at the sky, ignoring her mind for a bit. "Well, what about you?"
