Homigwtf. Poppet.
I never really liked her. Too busy, if you ask me.

I have to kind of agree here. I do like her, but shes sooo... know-it-all. That REALLY is annoying. But its good SOMEone around there knows something. Cause yeah, Ron and Harry would be soooo lost. She has a lot to offer in the trio.

But that doesnt mean I like her.

She is okay, I prefer her over Cho and some of the other girls at Hogwarts. Yeah, she is kinda annoying when it comes to books, but I can deal with it. (the movie version doesn't act too much like the book version though)

Yea, but she's just not someone that I would hang around. Me and her would fight too much. Cus' I'm a know-it-all as well. x3 I have to be right.

Werid, cus' you said you did.

I do, but I dont. I'm a walking contradiction to myself. I guess its best described as a love-hate thing. I may be a book worm, but not about things.... educational. Usually.

See, that's the thing I like about Hermione.

She's the kind of person who you would find somewhat irritating if you knew her in real life, but who you would still like. Well, for me, at least, that's it.

I know people like Hermione. I'm not like her, but I can relate to how she sometimes feels isolated, because she says or does something that give people a certain impression of her.

Maybe it's not an -exact- copy, but I think that Emma Watson gets the essence of Hermione exactly right.

Am I the only one who actually liked the movies? gonk

they ruined her so bad in the third movie!! gonk but i do have to agree, harry and ron would be dead by now if it weren't for her, but she's still a bit annoying. she's loosened up a lot over the years, though.

I think a lot of people can't understand the point of the movies. Let me explain.

There is no way they could ever make all seven books into movies. So what they did is took the story and 're wrote it' to make into movies. They didn't need back story because there wouldn't be any other movies they would need it for, so it's not there. They don't need to add those extra little scences because they don't need it for later.

This of how people re write old stories, it's like that. They take the basic idea of the story

in this case; a boy wizard in certian adventures

and change it to fit a small medium

here it would be movies.

Hopefully you get it. It's almost like a different version of the story.

Now, I'm not saying someone said that, but this is what the movies are different. They arn't made to be the books, they are made to be a different perspective of the story.

Thank you!

Damn straight Hermione's more important than some *cough* most*cough* of the seventh years. I believe it was a member of the DA who expressed shock and disbelief that she was not a Ravenclaw. the thing is Hermione is either braver than she is intelligent or values her bravery more than her intelligence. In book 1 I think she mentioned she'd rather be in gryffindor than any other. I'm guessing it came down to a choice for her between Ravenclaw and Gryffindor like with Harry with Slytherin and she simply chose Gryffindor.

SPOILER ALERT! (Although I think if you're in this Guild and you haven't read the 6th book, you're bound to slam your fist down at random instences and yell at your computer screen)

...

...

...

I think mayber Hermione always had a thing for Ron. Maybe that's why she chose Gryfindor. Just a thought. But it would make sense because JKRowling would have a good reason for not explaining her choice in the 5th book, (seeing as how she developped their relationship in the 6th one).
