"Running away will get you nowhere but killed. Trust me, my brother died because of it. And trust me when I say this; being in a group cannot hurt you. They will feed you and take care of you. Hell, you might make friends. When you grow up, THEN you can leave your Aunt." He laughed a little. Who would have thought he would be giving advice to a cub about how to live a life as an orphan of sorts.

"Aunty said I could try to stay with another one of my aunts. She said I have sevral. I even have a grandmother...but she said my grandfather is not one to seek out...she said he was scary." She said softly as she didn't understand about grandfather and what he had done.
"I think I might try to find one of them...cause I don't think I can stand to see any much more of the lovey dovey stuff." She said with a small gag.

He laughed again. "Oh you will understand will you get older. If you want, tell your Aunt to take you to another. She will be rid of you and you will be with another. But I do suggest you go to this pride first."
Xana gave her one last lick before raising to his feet.
"You should head back to your Aunt, even if you don't like her, she is still your family. Just be happy you have one still."

She nodded a little as she stood up as she looked over to him. "All right I'll see if I want to go but I don't know they seem to be really odd to me." She said softly.

"Everything will seem odd. Just stick with it, you will see that things will go for the better." he licked her head once again. "I have to go, I have something important to do. Who knows, I might be getting myself into this lovely dovely stuff too. You take care of yourself Maso."
With that, he stretched out quickly before walking away, the walk becoming a jog, and the jog into a full out sprint.

Watching him leave she felt some of her anger and sadness of being an rphen fade away just as quickly as he did. She then began to run quickly back to where her aunt was hoping she wasn't awake yet.
