Seer smiled up at Aear when he looked down at her, and flushed slightly at the kiss. Mmm... she rolled to her side to watch Aear disappear below and watched the doorway with an adoring gaze until he reappeared. After he'd gotten the blankets all the way up the stairs she bounded over and pounced on him, nibbling on one of his ears affectionately.

It was a good thing the bundle was all the way up the stairs when Seer pounced, for Aear would have been severely disappointed to have to part from her to bring them up again. Instead he half fell upon them with a grunt of surprise which was quickly followed by a sound of delight as the shock wore off and he could enjoy the feel of Seer's body on his. A barely audible moan shook his body as his ear was nibbled and Aear smiled even though he was suddenly frightened again. Still he loved what Seer did to him even if he had to hold back constantly.
Then he did fall onto the bundled blankets, rolling so that his ear in Seer's teeth would be between them and pulling her down on top of himself to embrace her tight. "Ah, could ye nay wait either, m'delightful love?" Playfully Aear kissed at her neck.

Seer snuggled in against him and purred, play biting at his ear gently as she did so. After a moment she simply relaxed against him and licked at the spot just below his ear before making a happy sort of sigh. "I guess we should set up the blankets before it cools off?"

Great seas! Aear snuggled the female in his arms, a soft low growl vibrating through him at her bite. He had to close his eyes & concentrate on breathing as he relaxed with her. He never would have suspected... never would have guessed something so simple could be so wonderful. But it was. And as much as his body sometimes -okay... often- wanted more Aear was in no real hurry. Well sometimes he wanted more than others.
mmm? Cool off, with Seer's young warm body beside his own? The sailor's hearty laugh was low, muffled a little into Seer's fur. "Aye. Aye we should." But should and hurry about it were two different things as AearHwesta turned to kiss her happily, paws gently rubbing along her sides.

Seer rumbled deep in her chest at the kiss and the gentle stroking. That felt so nice... and sometimes... sometimes she wished he would do more. Sometimes she was almost scared of wanting that, too. She just... didn't know what to expect. But... sometime. Sometime.
When they eventually drew out of the kiss Seer tried to snuggle closer, though there wasn't much closer she cuold get. "Do you know the constellations? We haven't really been out at night much before... I've spotted a few on my own but some of them are kinda hard to find."

There was closer they could get... but AearHwesta did not feel they were ready for that. Or rather he was afraid, for the first time he could remember. Of what exactly he could not say, the thoughts not a clarity to be expressed in simple words. Perhaps it was the idea of deflowering his beloved who had once been his daughter, or that by being with her as he had been with others would change something he could not fathom. Maybe he wished to keep this semblance of youthful, innocent love -a feeling the sailor had never known in all his years, in all his dalliances, his 'luvs'. The closest he had ever been was Valefor and even then it had been the act of loving before the deeper feelings for kits and time. Maybe it was a fear that despite Seer knowing the Truth, that somehow, maybe, this would be denied him in the end. Or maybe all of it and none of it, the uncertainties of his years to her youth.
But oh how he wanted her.
He pulled her closer to him, upon the bundle of blankets, tails reaching up to stroke hers while weaving gently. "Aye Lass. Both these here in Gaia and those over the Realm. Some of them have many names, an' they all have their tales with them..."
Had he never told her them? Of course then as Seer was growing up the nights she would often be asleep and often that time was his & Valefor's...
Aear nudged her neck tenderly. Who would have guessed Seer would capture his heart and soul so. "Come, Seer-love. We'll put our nest in the prow and lay out wi' the stars." A glimmer in his russet eyes that she would have to get off of him for he had no desire to push her from him. Then he kissed her lightly -a gentle offer should she want more than stars and constellations. He felt like some young lovestruck fool... and he loved it.

Seer kissed Aear softly back and rather reluctantly disentangled herself from him. "I like stories." She stuck her tongue out slightly. He'd know that already, of course. "I remember you trying to tell me about some of them before but I couldn't seem to stay awake that long back then." She nosed at the pile of blankets and wagged her tails before trying to help him shift them. The sooner they got this done the sooner she could cuddle close to him and listen to stories and not have to worry about moving anywhere for a while...
She'd known about Aear and Valefor's activities for a good deal longer than she'd known about Aear's other luvs, and sometimes she wondered why she never really noticed, or why that didn't bother her the way it did when she thought of the others. Because she knew the situation between them? Because they'd been "mom and dad" for so long? Not that she supposed it mattered in the end. But, no, thinking of Aear and Valefor's times together didn't sting her heart the way the others did. Honestly it made her a little jealous.
She wanted Aear. There was no mistaking that. But she was nervous... so very nervous. Not that it wasn't right or anything like that, no. Not that. But... not knowing what to expect. Not knowing what to do. A little intimidated maybe that she wouldn't live up to what he was used to... whatever that was. And... she could tell he was nervous about it too, and he genuinely seemed to be enjoying their thus far innocent romance. Between her own mild trepidation and a desire not to steal something from him by asking about it she just... remained silent on the subject.
But... she was with Aear, there was about to be a beautiful starry sky overhead, they'd get to cuddle together in a nest of blankets on the deck and watch the stars... this was no time to go fretting over silly things like that. Right?

AearHwesta laughed deeply, keeping his disappointment at bay at the loss of her touch with reminders that they would be in contact soon enough -and that the breather would likely be needed. It was like sitting in a hot tub too long right now. Aear needed a timer so that he did not overheat. "Aye, m'Lass, m'Love. I know ye do. I tell ye 'cause of that."
He wasted no time, standing and starting to move the blankets with Seer towards the prow. His step was light -bordering on hurried with more than a hint of boyish excitement. Only a twinge of his fear tarnished the edges. Somehow he would stay by Seer tonight as long as she wanted without having to 'cool down' from her presence. It was too beautiful a night for such wastes of times. Wastes of her delightful company. Surely he could contain himself without leaving until she was ready. Until he was ready -not just his body. The sailor untied the knot he had made of the corners of the outmost blanket, revealing the blankets and a few pillows inside. Deftly he set about making a nest somehow enjoying both this time shared with Seer while hurrying it on in gleeful anticipation of having her back in his embrace, their bodies as intertwined as possible without actually intertwining their bodies in that most intimate of embraces. When they had finished the nautical kitsu flopped youthfully upon the nest, paws up in the air alternately batting & tugging gently for Seer to join him. "Come Love, my light. Lay with me. The stars await."

Seer laughed as Aear flopped down, allowing herself to be tugged down most willingly but also batting back at him with her own paws. For a moment it developed into a game of "see who can swat the other paw the fastest" before she rolled onto her side in a fit of giggles. She recovered quickly enough and rolled back over beside him to kiss him lovingly.

Great Neptune's beard, but his love was a delight! Laughing, AearHwesta played this new game with his mate, russet eyes twinkling as she dissolved into giggles and loving the way her fur rippled as she did. Then she was rolling back towards him and his breath hitched in his throat just before he was closing his eyes, returning Seer's kiss with a loving passion he did not want to hide. Slipping one paw beneath her head and wrapping the other arm over and around her body with a gentleness that hinted at restraint Aear pulled their bodies closer together, wrapping his tails with hers. His blue and white body lightly shook beside hers. Pressing his eyes shut AearHwesta expertly deepened the kiss until it said something clearly his kisses had never said to another: 'I'm yers... only yers.'

Seer snuggled up against Aear and returned the kiss with all the feeling she had in her, if not with any real sort of expertise of her own. Everything about this relationship was new and wonderful to her in spite of anything his past might bring up. And she wanted to enjoy every minute of it. 'I'm yours too...'
Eventually she pulled back, just a little, and simply looked at him with her paws wrapped around his shoulders. There was a smile of utter content on her face as she just lay next to him and looked at him with adoring eyes. She was so lost in the moment and his gaze that she didn't even notice the sun had dipped below the horizon and the first stars had begun to twinkle above.

Feeling... he felt it from her and AearHwesta thought he would float out to sea without a boat, his wings a buoyant flotation. The sailor felt weak when it ended, then lost... smiling into Seer's violet eyes. Her eyes that had not left hime... would not leave him. Those eyes now AearHwesta never wanted to leave him. The disappearance of the sun he only noticed for the lingering rays that flickered through the growing darkness to flicker like a lover's touch on Seer's fur. He traced their last beams lightly with his paw. "Seer..." His voice was thick, heavy with emotion. Sheepishly AearHwesta smiled and met her eyes once more.
"What stories would ye have me tell first, Love?"

Seer just snuggled close again and rested her cheek against his neck while she glanced around above before finally pointing out a constellation she recognized the shape of, if not the name. "How about that one?"
She listened avidly to Aear's stories as she picked constellations one by one until she ran out of ones she knew and then as he told her about the ones she didn't. She did her very best to stay awake and listen to them all but eventually the cheek resting against him shifted as she started to nod off and again as she caught herself and jerked awake. She made a disappointed sounding little sleepy murr as she forced her head back up and tried to look alert.

He was doing incredibly well. In the not having to restrain himself too much department. Perhaps because it was easier having something to focus on ... to teach her. Aear wished to teach her more.... When they both ready. But when would that be? his paws drew his sleepy mate to him. Mate. Aear purred softly, liking the sound the lone word in his mind -relishing it back and forth like a fine wine.
A soft chuckle escaped him the second time Seer forced herself awake, his heart lightened even that little bit more at the sweet sound she made in the process. With infinite tenderness he nuzzled her then kissed upon her face sweetly. "Do ye wish te sleep, Seer-love?" Aear murmured, voice a little husky. His body curled to gently hold her to him. "Ye don't have to stay awake. Let's sleep beneath the stars tonight, love. I'll keep ye warm. We'll keep each other warm..." There was more than a note of entreaty in his voice though it did not reach a plea or beg. He wanted her. Perhaps Seer could feel it from the undercurrent shiver of his body. But he wanted her like this more at this moment.

The husky tone of his voice, the gentle kisses, the undeniable shiver of desire in his body pressed so closely to her own... Seer was sleepy, but not really at all tired if it made any sense. The feelings Aear gave her were like an electric current, and in the strange state of mind she was in - lost somewhere in the sheer bliss of being with Aear and beyond the realm where her worries could reach her - well, it seemed silly... to hold back like they had been. They loved eachother. They obviously both wanted to be together. They were mates now... so why shouldn't they be mates?
To one so sensitive to scents as Aear the change in her own had to be unmistakable as she attempted to pull herself even closer to him. Slowly she carressed the side of his neck with her own with a gentle but firm insistence, rumbling softly in her chest the whole time. Yes... they could keep eachother warm. She felt rather warm already... she just wasn't sure how best to express it. But she felt safe stumbling along under Aear's guidance. She flushed at the thought, but still, it was true; what better paws could she be in when it came to this?
