"Really, Munich..." Jura trailed off another time, she just couldn't think straight with him trying to convince her, and her heart saying yes, but her body and mind wanting so badly to say no. "I don't want to screw anything up for you. You're better off without me." She stated, looking up at him with half-lidded eyes full of tears.
"Just trust me...I'm pretty good at messing things up." The dark-furred female started, but didn't know how she could elaborate, so decided that if he asked her to explain, she'd ignore the question, like she was currently ignoring the bugs buzzing about, biting at her hot pelt...though, when she was thinking about it, she supposed she wasn't really ignoring them...BUT, that wasn't important at this particular moment in time.
"You can beg all you want, I'm staying here...I'm better off by myself, and you probably are, too." She huffed, flicking her tail and continuing to stare at him, jaw set, as she lifted a paw to wipe away the small few tears that actually rolled down her cheeks.
...And the lioness realised she'd cried a lot today. This was starting to become a waste of time. Jurawa wasn't sure what she wanted. Her heart and her mouth seemed to say the opposite of what each other wanted, and she was confused as a hare that had been cornered.

Munich’s heart sank, he was so sure that she liked him to! Why did she deny him like that, why did she say such things? Even if he felt she would never hurt him he knew he wouldn’t be able to change her world, her mind. Slowly he stood up, less of a man than before, his soft green eyes narrowed at her one last time before speaking.
“If you happen to change your mind I will be heading north, just follow the trees to the waterhole, I will be going that way.”
He knew deep down she wanted it, wanted to go- but someone she kept inside held her back and because of this he wasn’t able to persuade her into leaving with him. He was crushed but not defeated, he would always have hope in Jura. Always.
“Goodbye..”
He trailed off and sighed, turning himself some, as if wanting to say something more.
“Jura?”
He stopped and spoke, gazing back at her softly. He needed to let her know.

Jurawa came to the conclusion that she had never felt so defeated before in her entire life....well, aside from one single exception, but that was for another time as well, and she was trying so hard to just forget it.
"I'm..." The dark-furred lioness wanted to apologize, she really did, but there was no point, not if he was going to leave anyways, and she knew that she wouldn't follow him. The Pridelands were her home, since her mother left, she would stay here.
The lioness gave one more huff in the direction of her friend, and then spun around and begun to stalk off in the opposite direction. "Told you," She growled, "I really don't know WHY you bothered..." The female trailed off, though she was walking slowly, tauntingly...she wanted him to be upset that she wasn't going with him, for some reason.
Though she already knew he would be...Jurawa wanted to make it worse.

“Smile for me, like you mean it again, someday.”
Was all the male could say before walking out of her life again. He didn’t want it to be this way but that’s just how fate worked he guessed. He would never stop trying to see her or talk to her, but if she didn’t want to be with him, come with him he wouldn’t push her to, he just wasn’t that kind of lion.
His eyes narrowed as he sighed and trotted off to the border of the pride lands, feeling extremely let down. He would have done anything to have her stay; anything.
