It didn't even phase me when I first found out. My step-dad didn't really care, but when I told my mom she almost fell out of her chair from laughing so hard. I was waiting for it to come out, actually, but it was cool that JKR announced it in front of all those people like that.

I have the newspaper clipping in my locker at school. Now whenever I watch the movies with my girlfriend...she points at the screen when Dumbledore comes on and screams; "GAY!!" ...and I laugh my a** off.
Good for JKR to make the most successful wizard of all time besides Merlin someone who is gay. It shows gay people can be extremely successful in life. smile

The actriss that plays her has had a lot of practice being evil in other movies. Its actualy kinda hawt. My gf would prolly go EEEWWW!!! at that lol.

I wish she hadn't done that, becaus emy mom is homophobic, so know im not aloud to watch, read, look at interviews, watch videos on youtube, or say, or even think harry potter. I'm not even aloud to wear the teshirts, tiesm, and stuff, she gave away all my harry potter stuff. But its kinda good, because now i can sneak out and try to read and watch it. so chyeah, but yea its awesome still but you know for me its hard.
that made no sense to me xd

am i the only one here that thinks that saying that dumbledore is gay was a stupid publicity stunt? it didn't have anything to do with the series, and so many fanfics are no only being proven or encouraged into stupidity! i mean, honestly, i thought it was the stupidest and most desperate move an author could ever make.
sorry to go all simon cowell and rain on the parade.
