Jed ran back a bit, then wiped it's face off. "Are you okay, Jed?" I can't believe that burning actually worked on a water pokemon... Noah thought. Ponyta nodded in response. "Okay, good. This time, go right up to his face and use Flame Blast!"
So Ponyta, ran up, came point blank, and spit out a hurdle of fire, mixed in some mud still around his mouth. It was going to be almost impossible to dodge this...

"Albireo, let's try to finish this up! Horn attack!"
Albireo barked and then looked at the flame, looking for the lightest part. He saw it on the lower left this time and slid through it with few injuries. Then, while on the other side, he started to move towards Jed like a torpedo, using the benefits of reduced riction from the wet grass and mud.
"LET'S END THIS!" Luna shouted with passion. (([/dorkyness]))

Jed was knocked back, and you have to admit, that was strong, but not strong enough. "You alright Jed?" He knew he was going to fight through thick and thin, that was his personality. Noah could see that a;ready.
"Ponyta!" Jed sent an ember attack, forgetting to be commanded to. Noah shrugged the disobedience off.

"Albireo, let's preservere through this!" Luna shouted.
Albireo let out a weak bark, greatly out of breath. He started charging into the flames once more and repeating his sliding torpedo move on Ponyta, now with added determination.

Before Ponyta got seriously hurt, Noah returned him. He sighed. "I guess battling isn't y thing. Good game. Nice pokemon, by the way. I like his eyes." He added quickly. "Next time I see you, it probably won't be on the battle field. If I see you again." he stated. "Which I hope I don't..." he mumbled. He started to back, but then bowed, and saluted, smiling.
He walked away, thinking of all the people he'll meet that he'll never see again. After awhile, it was depressing, so he started thinking about setting up a small watch tower. That would be fun...He turned back one more time before he left, to see if she had anything to say.

"Cya Noah-kuuun~!" Luna said, saying the only bit of Japanese she actually knew. During the battle, Luna had out her pokedex and was secretly using a language option she installed to find out what exactly Noah was saying.
"And if you aren't battling, are you going to be a coordinator?" She asked, confused. Albireo limped to her side and cocked his head curiously.
((You know, I think you're character is going into the list of people/pokemon Luna likes to annoy ;D ))

"Coordinator?!" Noah felt embarrassed by the fact that she assumed that. He turned around to face her completely. "N-no way! A watcher, if you must know!" he crossed his arms around and his face flushed red. "It's not like Coordinator is the only other job...Gosh!" he turned around and walked away. I hate people who act like that...
[I know someone who acts just like your character who's in every one of my classes. xD So annoying.]
