Ahali grinned slightly. "I rather do things myself. I wouldn't ask someone to do something if I could do it myself. " He smirked slightly, standing up once more. Trigger was starting to get boring now, and Ahali, hungry. He was sure Afu wouldn't be pleased with no food either. And seeing as herds had moved around here, he'd have to go find some.
"However, I'm sure you'd get a high rank, as you put it. " He shrugged. It wasn't like this was a lie. Trigger wouldn't be usefull anywhere else. And at first, they needed allies, not people to piss off. Ahali was a strong and skilled fighter, but he was one lion. And Afu was no wonder at battle, he imagined. If they ticked too many folks off..
"I, however, have to go. See this stuff out with Mwana, then come find me. Or at least try. " He shifted to the side, turning his back on Trigger. "I, however, best go. I'm hungry, and I imagine Afu is too. So good-bye. " He said, and nodding, walked off, and ear tipped back in case Trigger wanted to say anything. He'd hear it, he just wouldn't reply.
