Namine was so excited she was finally making her way to the surface. She moved her fin as fast as possible. She wanted to feel the breeze through her hair. She wanted to walk on land. She wanted to eat the foods shed heard about and she wanted to meet other people. Namine reached the shoreline and she stepped out, slowly. She did not want anyone knowing what she was. That was a secret she had to guard closely to her heart. She stepped out of view holding her locket close. This locket was the one thing that would allow her to walk between worlds and as such she had to protect it. It also held her power and the essence of what she was.

Namine changed into some human attire and met her escort. Her escort was a mermaid as well. But she was only here to make sure Namine found her way to the school and got settled in.

Arriving at the school Namine let out a "Wow! It looks wonderful. I can't believe this is where I will be staying?!" She clapped excitedly. Stepping out of the car she was escorted into the school. She was introduced to the faculty and students who had already arrived. She was then taken to her dorm. When she arrived there were bags and luggage all around. Her excort informed her that within there was any necessity she could need. And in case she needed anything a bank account had been set up for her with unlimited funds. Namine thanked her escort for everything. Being a princess had its perks but Namine was not the type to flaunt her good fortunes. She really wanted to explore the campus but decided instead to unpack and as such see what these necessities were.

Iona sighed contently, and set some books down on a table in the art room. Another school year had begun, and she was looking forward to it. Karen was sitting at a table, scribbling on a paper with crayons as her mother went about the room, making sure everything was ready for when class started.

Once she was finished in the art room, she head to the music room, and checked every binder to make sure it had all the appropriate music in it. Karen followed her around, her eyes filled with wonder as she saw the musical instraments in the corner. But she knew better than to touch, so she remained content with staring.

Once she made sure everything was in its place, Iona walked back into the hall, and headed toward the teacher's lounge. She had checked the Home-ech ((that would be where cooking is, right?)) room earlier, and everything seemed fine. Karen held her mother's hand, humming quietly as they made their way through the halls, and by the students wandering them.

((actually, I more of meant is there any general order. Not that it matters much. I don't care when my classes are, just so long as most of the students in them are all there at the same time. And my character could give music(voice or instramental) lessons privatly on the students own time if they wanted))

Kennedy sank on his bed and put the small basket in his hand by his foot, eyes quickly following the appearing letters on the blackberry device. He sighed and shook his head, before tapping out a response. Of course I am in school dad, did you think I'd turn around halfway and go somewhere else? The thought had occurred to him once though, but the threat of his almost certain punishment afterward was good enough deterrent. I am in school and settling down in my room. Give mom my love too...okay I promise to be good this year. Good thing they couldn't see his crossed fingers. Bye...erm love you too. Kennedy quickly shut of the device, a blush forming on his face at his hasty endearment. Even after twelve years, he still found it a little difficult to say somethings to his adoptive parents...

A plaintive mewling by his foot made him look down and pick up the basket. "Come on Nero, sniff around but I call dibs on the bed. The clost is off limits too." He got to his feet and took a deep breath, picking up his wallet-containing vital information about this years classes and his identification card- and walked out of the room. Time to familiarize himself once more with the neighborhood.

Jamie walked out onto the school field with a ball and started juggling it. He wondered what kind of books they had at the library. He tried to not think of meeting people because he knew they would laugh at his accent. He hated that. The fact that he was smart enough to be asked to come here and they still taunted him, calling him gay and telling him to go back to pom-land. He accomplished around the world for the first time and he smiled to himself, knowing no one was there to congratulate him. He caught the ball and walked the long way to the library to get a feel of his new school, his blonde hair waving in the cool breeze.

Jamie walked into the library and, after asking the Librarian for directions, he went straight to the science section and picked out 'A brief history of time by Stephan Hawkings' and 'Astrophysics for the intellectually advanced' and proceeded to the tables. He found them empty and sat down. He opened 'Astrophysics for the intellectually advanced' and started reading.
