Weiyuan sneered, catching the fist and pulling it around him. "What? Is that all you've got? Making up words? What a failure in life you must be." The brunette turned, hand still wrapped around the other's fist. He was lost to his emotions, currently it was anger. He was angry from losing Rylenn, insults had only made it worse. Kicking a man while he was down was a dishonor. This runt was a dishonorable person and he would make sure that he knew that. "You should get off the island. This place isn't for failures."

Scyeth considered kneeing the other boy in the crotch. He probably wouldn't be expecting it, and that was rather hard to counter short of moving. Moving would require Weiyuan to let go of his hand, in which case, he could slug him. However, the first move was below the belt. Scyeth didn't fight like that. He might not be a trained fighter in the list bit, but he did have some code. (Said code could be thrown at out any given time.) "Yes," Scyeth agreed. "I am clearly a failure in life. I failed so hard, I was honored by being sent to his school. I fail so hard, I make you angry." Scyeth smiled then, his actions completely unwonted. "You couldn't make me leave short of kidnapping, binding and shipping me off."
He snickered at the very idea of it.
"So. Weiyuan. I suppose you're one of those egotistical assholes I've read about."
He smiled wider, as though he was telling a friend a funny story.
"So, know that I've got that out there, are you gonna stop having a temper tantrum, or what? Seriously." Whatever got Weiyuan so wound up, it wasn't Scyeth. He was tired of babysitting. He wasn't entirely kidding when he asked if Wei had needed to see the doctor, or someone. The kid needed help.

"You're the one who threw the first punch. I wouldn't be talking about tempers if I was you."
The youth's sneer grew the more the other smiled. Without hesitation he pushed against the other towards the wall. What would he know? He didn't know what sort of things he went through to move up in the world. He didn't know what sort of pain he had experienced. He didn't come face to face with death twice and somehow live. He didn't have to come here knowing that his whole family depended on his success. He didn't have to watch his lover leave this place. He didn't know anything!
Wei could feel his strength leaving him, wanting to collapse under his emotions. But he couldn't. He fought to keep the strength in his body even if he was shaking. What would he know?

Scyeth resisted the urge to react when Weiyuan shoved him, silenced the grunt when he hit the wall. "Oh, so you like it rough, huh?" Scyeth purred, though he had the general notion flirting wasn't going to get him anywhere. So, instead, he considered the merits of fighting a crazy person. Wei might try to maul him. If he got a black eye, he could always go complaining to his adorable roommate. Maybe, if he was lucky, he could coax RuiZhi into doing some of his homework. Or, maybe, Wei was mostly bark and Scyeth beat the snot out of him. He would certainly get in trouble for picking a fight with an invalid (yeah, like Scyeth picked the fight). On the other hand, maybe he could get Weiyuan in trouble for it. However, the other student had enough emotional trouble. The blond didn't want to be responsible for causing him to like...set a bomb in the school, or something. Hey. It could happen.
He eyed Wei carefully. He was nearing the edge. Now, Scyeth need to find a way to get him to slide of said edge. Drain all this vicious out of him without sending him into another blind rage. "Oh, I'm just a fighter," Scy purred. "Survival of the fittest, you know?" He shrugged. "Speaking of, who's got you in such a tizzy, huh? Wasn't me, I'm not dumb. I only lit the fuse someone else set."

Wei flinched, growling at the comment. If this had been a normal conversation, on a normal (well should of been normal) day...The brunette would've admitted that yes he did like it rough. He liked it very rough. Especially when tied up the way his lover liked it. Gods he loved pleasing him.
But when will he get that chance to do such intimate things with Rylenn again?
Gods he didn't think his libido would forgive him if he didn't have sex anymore. He wouldn't forgive himself if he had sex with another man just to please him! Oh it was just too stressful. The other was lucky he didn't have to deal with it.
Wei slumped, being reminded of his now-gone lover assimilating all his previous anger. Wei let go of the other, moving to the other wall and sliding down once his back hit it. "He got expelled....."

Oh. 'He' must be the same one everyone else was upset about. Rylenn? Scyeth never had a chance to meet him. He sighed and just regarded Weiyuan with what be mistaken for sympathy. "Bummer, dude." What else could he say? He'd never been very close to anyone who had left. He never cared to be. He was a ringleader back at home and it was smarter to make sure it didn't get too personal. You know. Just in case.
"Um. Maybe you should...talk to someone. Like a professor?" Weren't they trained for this sort of thing, anyways? "Or...another student?" Maybe one of his friends knew this kid really well too? Then they could all mourn together. Misery loves company, after all. And if Scyeth could dump Weiyuan on someone, he'd be free. If he left right now, he might be charged with murder if Weiyuan tried to kill himself, or something. You never knew. Scyeth was being an a**. Depressed people did inexplicable things sometimes.
"...at least he's not dead?"
Oh yeah, Scyeth. That was smooth.

Weiyuan snorted, combing a hand through his hair. Coal eyes met with the floor, his mind flashing images of his lover. Indeed, he had someone. but that someone also needed some comfort and if he wasn't ready to come to terms how could he help someone else? It would be a misery fest and blatantly Wei didn't know how to handle one of those.
He chuckled bitterly, gaze shifting back to the blonde. "It's obvious you haven't made any bonds that I have." He snorted again, sitting up a bit straighter, a bitter smile on his face. "But I suppose making love to some almost daily would make some pretty strong bonds." Normally at this time he'd be rushing back from his studies to spend time with Ry. Cuddling, talking, and all those sorts of thing lovers do when their passion has yet to be fully ignited. He wanted to cuddle right now...to have that soft presence around you...with your souls coming together for a little bit. He wanted to cuddle.

Scyeth had had enough. Sure, he was mean at first, but he did try to be reasonable with this fellow! Reason had nothing to do with liking or disliking a person, just logic. And clearly, Weiyuan was not in the mood for any logic. Scyeth had no desire to try and force any logic on him; at this point, the blond was pretty that would just be a waste of his life anyways. Ug. This was not going to go anywhere. Ever. Weiyuan needed to go find someone else. He just needed to-
"Would you just grow the hell up?"
Jeez.
"You think you're old enough to go around sleeping with your boyfriend, but you're too much of a kid to handle him moving away well? He isn't dead. Call him. Write him a letter. Email him, IM him, text him, I DON'T KNOW." Scyeth rubbed his face in exasperation. He no longer cared if he was charged with accidental murder; at least Weiyuan would be far away. "For the gods' sake, pull yourself together and start acting like the adult you think you are."

Wei stood a glare on his face as he closed the gap between them. "I. Can't. That's the problem. The only phone here the connects off the island is in the Communications tower and that's reserved for emergencies. No one on this island has cell phones. And I don't even think he's in an area than has computers. His hometown is crap! This island was like paradise to him and now he's been kicked out and I don't have any sort of contact with him."
Wei sighed, turned around and firmly punched the wall. Slowly, small cracks bloomed from the dent his fist made. "Yes I'm sad that he's gone...but I'm more worried for him. It's not like his life is easy out of this place. It's the fact that I can't do anything about it. I can't leave here, my family depends on my success here. ...I don't even know where he is right now."
He was angry that he wasn't capable of doing anything to mend this situation.
He was sad because his lover wasn't here. Rylenn was his first in everything, he didn't know how to handle long distance relationships...hell he didn't know anything about relationships at all before Rylenn.
He was scared. Scared of losing Ry. Scared of how Rui was handling this. Scared of his own emotions. He didn't have to deal with them as much as he was right now. It was overwhelming.
And Scy just wasn't in the right place. Wei was at the bottom of this dark hole and he hadn't even started trying to find the way out.
"Pulling myself together isn't as easy as it used to be. I have emotions...emotions I never dealt with before...I don't know how to."

Eeuuuugh!
"Then talk to someone."
Was it really that hard to figure out? Bottling things up was bad for you, as exhibited by Weiyuan's impressive display of violent anger. Scyeth shook his head again, tucking a stray blond strand behind an ear. Whatever. He didn't need to deal with this. This other kid just wasn't his problem. Just let it go, Scy, let it go. Even the best had to admit they're over their heads sometimes...especially in sticky situations like this.
"Look. Dude. Go get some freakin' help and talk to someone. Preferably a professional." He paused. "And definitely not me."
He just couldn't handle any more.

Wei sighed, turning to the blonde, momentarily quelling his thoughts. "Forgive me. I've been rude to you...I just...I just don't know how to...'deal' with all of this." The brunette attempted a slight smile but somewhat failed at his efforts. He was still working on that aspect of his life. "Perhaps...our next meeting will be more...'chill' I suppose you would call it." With that, the brunette walked off, most likely to go curl up on his bed and pretend his pillow was Rylenn.
