A faint blush appeared onto her tender cheeks despite the fact that she had any blood. She placed her index finger onto her chin. Her sapphire eyes had a hint of innocence in them which is not common for the so called 'cold ones.'
"Forgive me if I seem so silent. I'm just a bit distracted I suppose."
She gazed down in embarrassment.

"Oh um... Just thinking. I always do that when I'm alone. I guess i forgot that someone is with me at this instant." Her blush grew more red. She has never outgrown her shyness at all. She smiled timidly at him, twiddling with her fingers quietly. She was actually thinking about her family, how they were always so blissful and how each one of them cared for each other. But she also thought about her first love. He was human but the differences made is quite difficult. He is probably dead by now.

A wry smile crossed his face as he said " Never thought i'd see a vampire blush haha." he laughed.
Unknown to the girl on the rooftop. His own thoughts were racing....troubling thoughts..and flashes of the past. he absentmindedly played with the wooden trinket around his neck as he thought some more.

"Selene." She nodded her head slightly and held out her slender hand. She still had that common politeness for anyone she has met.

"Mhm." She smiled and nodded again. She has never met any other Lycans besides Ellie who soon became her best ally. The shake seemed so awkward. Her hand was freezing ice compared to his warm hand. It feels as if an invisible object has just shocked her. She gazed out again and pondered to herself which somehow, by mistake, was asked a loud.
"You said you were here just to view the sights here. What is a Lycan like yourself talking to a leech like me?"
It seems odd that a Lycan like himself would stop over and have a conversation with a vampiress. Maybe it was common, but she was still a bit new around here and never knew what was going on around LA.

He smirked " To be honest..I think your kind are just big jokes,normally i wouldn't give a rats a** about most of you," he then turned back to the lights of the city before finishing " But i'm on the lookout for someone....someone i used to know a long time ago...I had to stop and see if you were one of his lackeys." He turned and said " i know now your not...to much sadness about you...."

She nodded. There were reasons for everything. Every creature she knows obviously has their own mission to accomplish. Selene, at this instant, has no reason to be here. No reason to live except protect her own race. It was lonesome but it was the only use she can do. She felt weak. She felt as if she was as useless as stone. This just makes immortality unbearable. Living in a dangerous world with no goal to accomplish.
"I see."
Her face had a hint of sadness into it.

He shrugged and said " I don't know really...a lot of creatures are fairly friendly with each other....some very friendly.... but they're all young bloods..new to this unnatural second world." He looked out into the streets " me, i don't see it that way...I've been alive for quite some time...you to i belive..unless I'm wrong..."

She nodded her head again. The fact was true that there was so many new born's into here.
"Yes you're right. I am an elder. I've been on this world for quite a while."
She sat down on the edge of the building unafraid of the tall heights.
"It really is a burden living this long... There were so many times I wanted to end my life."
She stared out, blankly into the city, her stone sapphire eyes fading darker. From gold, to butterscotch, to light brown, to deep almond, and ended at the dead black color. This wasn't a good sign. Her appetite for blood usually rises up when she was in this mood so she must always think of positive ways to control herself. She thought hard, thinking of some friends she has met here. They were kind but most of them were very dangerous. Her dead black eyes soon shifted into into a lighter almond color.

-Ellie walked up the long spiraling stairs and finally reached the top. She sighed and looked over the city, the beautiful city lights glowing on her skin. She Walked over to the edge and placed her hands on them to get a better view. She then turned her head and saw Selene. She smiled and waved-

She stood up and whirled around to find a good friend of hers. A slight smile appeared on her face as she walked lightly toward her, her heels lightly tapping on the hard floor. She slightly opened her small lips to speak. She had a sweet voice, as if a song from a trained elite flute player has just come out.
"Ellie!"
She gave her a quick and light hug.
"How are you?"
