Yes. And that ones not even out yet (at least I don't think so), the actual movie, not the broadway play. Tim Burton is suppose to making it, starring Johnny Depp of course. And I'm not aware of any other version. Have you actually seen that though? Next clue is: All I ask of you. What move am I?

My school did it years ago as their yearly play. I went to see it twice because I loved the story so much. It sounded a lot like it so I figured either there was some old movie or there were making one.
Phantom of the opera?

It's quite an old movie... I think it was made in the 1940's. My theatre teacher classified it as a comedy, but I'm not sure about that. Edit: Anyone else want to take a guess?

Nope, although if I'm thinking of the right person, Hepburn was in this one as well.

A dying man needs to die, as a sleepy man needs to sleep The Philadelphia Story ?
If not that then maybe it is in here
# Adam's Rib (1949) # Edward, My Son (1949) # A Double Life (1947) # Desire Me (1947) # I'll Be Seeing You (1944) # Winged Victory (1944) # Gaslight (1944) # Resistance and Ohm's Law (1943) # Keeper of the Flame (1942) # Her Cardboard Lover (1942) # Two-Faced Woman (1941) # A Woman's Face (1941) # The Philadelphia Story (1940) # Susan and God (1940)
I formed a list after doing research! :3 and there comes a time when it is wrong, as well as useless, to resist. ~Stewart Alsop

@ Wraith: It is indeed 'The Philadelphia Story'.
Just keep in mind that if it hadn't been that movie that you would have had to guess each of those other movies separately. I don't accept answers that are in the from of either this one or this one. Unless the movies are in a series, such as 28 Days Later or 28 Weeks Later. That's the only case when it is acceptable.
The next clue is: My main character is a cute, brown dog that likes to go on adventures.
